Establishment of a portal for conducting selected tourism services

The Diploma thesis is focused on creating a business plan for establishment of a portal for conducting tour guide services. The aim is to take advantage of the ever-growing trend in providing online tourism services. The first two chapters are devoted to theoretical knowledge and premises. First, we provide the general definition of tourism. The general characterization of tourism services follows together with a more detail account of tour guide work as such. The first part also includes information concerning internet portals and tourism trends for 2016. The second chapter deals with the business plan and its structure. The third part contains the actual business plan with all its essentials such as a description of the product and its functionality, potential markets, a competition analysis, a marketing strategy, an implementation plan and a financial plan.

Survey of Audio Guide Use in the Czech Republic

The thesis deals with an audio guide service. In general terms, it is divided into both theoretical and empiric part. The theoretical part consists of two chapters where the first one outlines tour guiding while the second one describes city tourism. The empiric part, as in the third chapter, opens up with an overview of some of the major companies providing the audio guide service in the Czech Republic. A list of prices of the actual price of each item is also included. The following chapter provides a comprehensive list of tourist sites as in which the audio guide has already been successfully put in use. The thesis concludes with the last chapter featuring a survey which primarily aims to find out whether the service has generally sunk in or not and what the general public awareness of the phenomenon actually is.

The Metodics concerning the guidance of the visitors of castles, countryhouses and other historic buildings open to the public

Úvodní část metodiky zmiňuje obecně počátky průvodcovských služeb a prů- vodcovských textů v evropském kontextu, s hlavním zřetelem na hrady a zámky v českém prostředí. Navazující části se již věnují hlavnímu tématu metodiky, a to potřebám kvalita- tivního zabezpečení průvodcovské činnosti. Je zde vysvětlena problematika tvor- by a interpretace průvodcovských textů, přípravy průvodců na průvodcovskou čin- nost a s ní spojené povinnosti či potřeby. Samostatně je popsaná obecně vedená organizace prohlídky památkového objektu průvodcem. V základních bodech je naznačen přístup průvodce k návštěvníkům s omezenou schopností pohybu a ori- entace. Závěr přináší soupis použité a doporučené literatury pro ty, kteří se chtějí o průvodcovské činnosti a jejích specifikách dozvědět více.

Guiding services in the UNESCO locations

The master thesis contains an analysis of guiding services in all the UNESCO locations in the Czech Republic. There is a special emphasis on the current situation in Prague because the position of the capital city in the incoming tourism is unquestionable. A part of the analysis is formed with a brief comparison of Prague with Vienna and Budapest.

Cílem bakalářské práce je zhodnocení kvality průvodcovských služeb a nalezení slabých míst, které by bylo možné vylepšit. Práce uvadí legislativní požadavky ochrany spotřebitele a dále analyzuje kvalitu daného procesu pomocí jednoduchých nástrojů jakosti jako je diagram příčin a následku a vývojový diagram. Analýza je aplikována na Koněpruské jeskyně.
