Comparison of the Czech and French law on Collective bargaining with an emphasis on the right to strike and analysis of the relevant French legal terminology with a glossary

The aim of this bachelor thesis is a comparison of the Czech and French law on collective bargaining with an emphasis on the right to strike and analysis of the relevant French legal terminology with a glossary. The content of this bachelor thesis consists of an introduction to labour law, basic sources about the topic and overall structure of both rules of law. Thereafter the thesis is dealing with the legislation of collective bargaining in more detail. Last but not least it is covering the right to strike. The conclusion is made of comparison of legislation of collective bargaining with an emphasis on strike in both rules of law and evaluation of the range of their differences. In the very end of this bachelor thesis, a French-Czech glossary is present.
The influence of public policy on legal order of Czech Republic during transition

The major aim of the thesis was to analyze, what was the influence of public (economic) policy in transition on the creation of rules in the Czech Republic. Who created the policy? How was the policy conducted? What was the role of the rules? What was the international context in that era? What was the influence of these external factors on the development in the Czech Republic. Other goals of the thesis dealt with the following: availability of suitable tools to analyze transition; key assumptions of public policy; rule making; the role of rule makers. The thesis does not attempt to describe all relevant approaches from modern economic theory that would be useful to analyze the transition processes. The thesis uses a selection of tools that can help to analyze institutions and rules in society from another view, than does standard legal theory or political science. Use of tools of economic analysis (especially from the area of microeconomics and new approaches of economics) can be characterized as complementary for institutional analysis. Relationship of the European Union legal order to the World Trade Organization law

Both, the European Union legal order and the World Trade Organization law represent important examples of the supranational legal system. This thesis focuses on their mutual relationship, in concrete through the perspective of the EU law. It aims to analyse how the European law approaches the WTO rules and which effects are granted to them. Introductory chapter provides the reader with a wider perspective of the examined topic dealing with relationship of the European law and the public international law in general. It presents the historical development as well as the current status of the relationship. Attention is brought to relevant provisions of the EU law and related case law of the Court of Justice of the European Union. It also outlines a theoretical background of the issue. Chapter Two focuses in a more specific way on the position of WTO norms in the EU legal order. Firstly, it briefly defines the WTO law while reflecting the specifics in regard of the EU. Afterwards, it is examined, which effects are granted to the WTO rules in the European law, particularly through the reasoning of the CJEU. Czech and Austrian media law with emphasis on austrian media act

As a result of current, historically unparalleled, media development, the states of European Union are forced to deal with new fundamental questions in the area of media regulation. Those questions are mainly; (i) can legislature of the EU member states react quickly enough to the technological development and (ii) how does the EU media legislative affect law of member states? In the presented work, answers to the above mentioned questions are based on a commented comparison between sources of the media law in Czech and Austrian constitutional systems. Besides the comparison, the work contains also an explanation of the basic concepts of the legal theory as well as a brief introduction to the historical development of the media law in both the countries. To the best of authors' knowledge, the present study is the first work aimed at comparing the media law of Czech Republic with another EU member state and it may be used as a basis for a discussion on a topic of Czech media law quality.

Mediation as an Alternative Form of Dispute Resolution, Abstract, Keywords Abstract My Rigorosum Thesis "Mediation as an alternative form of dispute resolution" reflects the legal regulation of mediation in force in the legal order of the Czech Republic, analyses this regulation and subjects it to critical assessment. It is possible to state that mediation and its use has been existing in our society since time immemorial, however it is necessary to point out that modern society got to know mediation better only in connection with its legislative alteration in the Act on Mediation which implemented the Directive of the European Parliament and of the Council of 21 May 2008 on certain aspects of mediation in civil and commercial matters. Following this circumstance, this alternative becomes supported and mediation services are deliberately used. Legal Knowledge of the Primary School's Director

This bachelor thesis is aimed at legal consciousness of primary school management. Basic legal concepts in the area of educational legislation that should be known to all school headmasters are given. The position of school headmaster in the current school system is discussed as well as his/her role based on school legislation and legal norms. Research has been focused on verification of skills and knowledge in the area of educational legislation of head teachers, mapping current situation of their involvement in labour-law relations and exploring the way statutory regulations are acknowledged, applied in practice, passed on to subordinates and how frequent changes in legislation are met. For clarity the results are presented graphically.

Analysis of the legal aspects of doing business in the Czech Republic and Germany

The thesis analyzes competitiveness and related business environment in the Czech Republic and Germany, also examines the legislative environment prevailing in both countries. The work is divided into three chapters. The first chapter determines the position of the two states in international competitiveness rankings. In the second chapter selected areas of the business environment are described, evaluated and compared. The final chapter is about starting a business in the Czech Republic, Germany. The thesis analyzes problems of cross-border activities of employees. Common features of both states and their differences are compared in order to be the inspiration for legal changes.
