Selected characteristics of the mobility in women (age category 60,0-69,9 y.)
ŤOUPALOVÁ, Lenka
The aim of the thesis is to assess and to compare the selected physical characteristics in the group of thirty women of the gardening association (60,00-69,99 y.). The measurement was repeated (November 2019 and March 2020) due to a pandemic in only 17 of them. The measured characteristics were body height, body weight, circumference characteristics (circumference of right arm, hips and abdomen), skin folds (the skin fold over the biceps, the skin fold over the triceps, the subscapulare skin fold and the suprailiacal skin fold), spin mobility tests (Stibor´s symptom, Otto´s symptom, Cepoj´s sympton, Schober´s symptom, modified Thomayer´s symptom, the Scarf Test and the Lateroflexe Test). The Body Mass Index (BMI) and the sum of all four skin folds were calculated. There was also the evaluation of the footprint, The Life Satisfaction Questionnaire in the field "The Health" and "The Leisure" (Fahrenberg et al., 2001) and the questions of the supplementary questionnaire. The comparison of the average results of the November and March measurements of our group showed statistically highly significant difference (p = 0,000**) of body weight and BMI by the Student's test (t-test). The March values were significantly higher. The results of the Wilcoxon test were statistically significant for the average results of spine mobility test - Stibor´s symptom. In the November measurement, there was greater elongation of the spine in the forward bend (p = 0,030*). The research part of the thesis includes the results of the tightness of the relationship between BMI values and other data. It was found, that BMI values are not related to spine mobility tests (p > 0,05). It was the most interesting result of this part of relationships. In contrast, the results of the relationship between BMI and the rate of back pain show a correlation between these data (p = 0,049*). The average values of our group were compared with the results of the research from Olomouc (Riegerová, 2010). In this comparison, the higher average values of body weight and BMI of our group were evaluated as statistically highly significant (p < 0,01). The average values of body weight, BMI and abdominal circumference of our group were compared with the results of the research by Toman Hrušková (2018). These results were evaluated as statistically highly significant too (p < 0,01).
Selected Characteristics of the Mobility for Professional Firefighters
RYCHTÁŘOVÁ, Veronika
The aim of the thesis is to assess the mobility of the spine, the condition of flat foot and basic anthropological characteristics of professional firefighters. The measurements also included basic somatic features such as body height, body weight, skin folds, circumferential and width measures. The body mass index was calculated using body weight and body height figures. As part of the measurements, professional firefighters were subjected to spinal mobility tests (Stibor's symptom, modified Thomayer´s symptom, Otto´s symptom, Cepoj´s symptom, Schober´s symptom, lateroflex test) using a tape measure, a non-invasive standard test. A foot print on colored paper was used to assess the condition of the flat foot. Using the Chippaux-Smirak index, the value of the foot condition was generated. The results of the basic somatic features of the professional firefighters unit and the Czechoslovak Spartakiad 1985 reference unit differ greatly in favour of our ensemble. Statistically important differences in values were not made out in the body mass index. From the functional symptoms of the spine, according to the literature, the standard values included the average values of Stibor's forward bend and Schober's symptom. It was interesting to compare the components of the somatotype of our fire unit with the unit of bodyguards of the Police of the Czech Republic, where the differences in the average values of the endomorphic and mesomorphic components were evaluated as statistically high in favour of the bodyguards of the Police of the Czech Republic. The largest percentage of professional firefighters and bodyguards of the Police of the Czech Republic were among the category of somatotype - endomorphic mesomorph.
Selected characteristics of the mobility in adolescent hockey players
ČERMÁKOVÁ, Simona
The aim of this bachelor thesis was to assess the mobility of the spine, the condition of flat feet and anthropological charakteristice of hockey players. The group of probands consisted of 40 boys aged 14-18, who are members of the hockey club in the Vysočina Region. Body height, weight, circumferential proportions (right arm, abdomen, hips, right thigh) and skin folds (above biceps, triceps, quadriceps, subscapular, suprailiacal) were measured and assessed. The Body Mass Index was calculated from body height and weight. The results of basic physical characteristics of the group of adolescent hockey players and reference groups of adolescent swimmers, probands of Czechoslovakian gymnastic performance in 1985 and probands of the 6th National Anthropological Research of Children and Youth 2001 are significantly different. Statistically highly significant differences in mean values were calculated for BMI, right thigh circumference, skinfolds above triceps, subskapular, suprailiacal compared to a set of adolescent swimmers in favor hockey players. In the functional tests of the spine are symptom of Stibor and symptom of Otto in forward bend, where the group of teenage swimmers achieved better than the group of teenage hockey players. The differences in the mean Chippaux-Šmiřák index (evalution of the condition of flat feet) right and left foot feet values of hockey players and swimmers were evaluated as highly statistically significant, more frequent flat feet was recorded in teenage hockey players. The differences in the mean scarf test right hand were evaluated as statistically significant in favor hockey players.

The name of the work: Shape changes in the axial system during respiration Goal of the work: the main objective is to perform a case study of brass parameters and changes the shape of the trunk during the ventilation maneuver, prepare the correct methodology of research and to conduct separate measurements. The thesis will be divided into two parts, the first will contain the theoretical background to the subject, in the second part will then be described by the research, where I measured the change in the volume of the lungs in relation to time, assess the impact of implemented ventilation maneuver on the individual probands and examine the respiratory dynamics in selected ventilation maneuver. Methods: in the framework of the fulfilment of the tasks of this work have been carried out experiments with the use of 3D kinematic record with Qualisys and spirometric measurement. The experiment involved three probands aged 20 to 40 specific common features. Each of the proband performed during the measurement of quiet breathing, maximum inhalation and exhalation and ventilation maneuver. Measurements were carried out in one day under standard conditions, measurements made on the day of probands quiet breathing, maximum inhalation and exhalation and ventilation maneuver (5 min total). Data records were...
Selected characteristics of the mobility in adolescent swimmers
LANDAUEROVÁ, Martina
The aim of the bachelor thesis is to evaluate the mobility of the backbone, the condition of flat foot and the basic anthropological characteristics of adolescent swimmers. The research participated 36 boys aged 15-18 from swimming group of South Bohemian Region. The basic somatic proportions like body weight, body height, circumference proportions (of right arm, abdomen, sides and right thigh) and skinfolds (above biceps, triceps, subscapular, suprailiac and on the thigh) were selected from the detected values. The Body Mass Index was calculated from the values of body weight and height. The results of the basic body characteristics of our group of adolescent swimmers and the referential group of adolescent hockey players are not significantly different from the results of participants of Czechoslovakian gymnastic performance in 1985. Compared to the group of adolescent hockey players, statistically highly significant differences in values were detected in BMI and skinfolds above triceps, subscapular and suprailiac in favor of hockey players. The bachelor thesis also deals with the evaluation of the mobility of the backbone and flat foot. From the tests that evaluate the backbone mobility were selected: symptom of Stibor, symptom of Otto, symptom of Schober, symptom of Cepoj, the test of lateroflex, the scarf test and modified symptom of Thomayer. The most interesting tests of the backbone are symptom of Stibor and symptom of Otto in forward bend. In these cases, the swimmers achieved better results than hockey players. Hockey players achieved better results in the scarf test.

Šašková, Vlasta ; Bunc, Václav (advisor) ; Hošková, Blanka (referee)
Title: Influence of pilates method on the stabilizing system of the spine Objectives: The main aim of this diploma thesis was to confirm or refute the claim that a six-week motion program using the pilates method positively affects the stabilizing system of the spine. The partial aims of the work were to determine whether the a six-week motion program using the pilates method had a positive effect on the posture, spinal mobility, shortened muscles and standing stabilization. Methods: As a method of research, a case study was selected involving two adult persons (males). The motion program was preceded by an initial examination. In particular, static examination of the standing position, dynamic examination of standing position (flexion, extension, lateroflexion), examination of stabilization (Véle test, stand on 1 LL, standing on 2 scales), examinations of spinal distances (Schober's, Otto's and Čepojev's distance, lateroflexion), goniometry of rotation of thoracic and lumbar spine, examination of shortened muscles according to Janda (hip flexors, knee flexors, pectoralis major and minor, m.trapezius and paravertebral muscles) examination of postural stabilization by Kolář (extension test, trunk flexion test, diaphragm test, hip flexion test). Participants then underwent a six-week motion program...

Bibliographic identification KUČEROVÁ, Klára. Long-term monitoring of impact of competitive swimming in statics and dynamics of the spine. Prague: Charles University, 2nd Faculty of Medicine, Department of Rehabilitation and Sports Medicine, 2017, 59 p. Supervisor of the bachelor's thesis Mgr. Magdaléna Lepšíková. Abstract Swimming is a physical activity that is often recommended by physicians as compensatory activity. It is symmetrical sport which takes place in aquatic environment. This sport has many benefits and can be done at any age. Our goal was to find out if competitive swimming had an effect on statics and dynamics of the spine. To measure static sagittal parameters we used DIER Formetric III 4D. Dynamic tests were measured by spinal development tests. The trunk stabilization was detected using Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization (DNS) concepts. We observed 11 children aged 11 - 12. These children were examined twice in the bachelor thesis, first one before the start of racing swimming and second one after 10 months. In our diploma thesis, these children were examined again after 3 years of racing swimming. We also watched a set of 11 adult swimmers. We compared their results with standards. After three years of racing swimming in children, there was no statistically significant change in size of...
Selected characteristics of the mobility for children aged 13 and 15 years
MRÁČKOVÁ, Petra
The aim of the diploma thesis is to evaluate the mobility of the spine, the condition of flaton and the basic anthropological characteristics of boys and girls aged 13 and 15 years. Testing will be performed with non-invasive, standard tests and tests used in anthropological and medical practice. The data will be compared with the results of previous research. From the measured values, basic somatic dimensions, such as body weight, body height, circumference of right arm and head, were selected. The body mass index was calculated from body weight and height values. The diploma thesis deals with the assessment of the mobility of spine and flats. The Stibor test, Otto's test, Schober's test, the Cepoj test, the lateroflex test, and the modified Thomayer test were selected from the tests that evaluated the spine. In spine functional tests, the most interesting results of the Čepoj symptom are that the average values of cervical spine mobility deteriorate with the increasing age of boys. In the lateroflex tests, 13-year-old girls and 15-year-old boys beat the best average values. Additionally, these boys had the worst results in Stibor and Schrober's flag when deflected, but paradoxically achieved the best average values. The findings were compared with the results of previous research.
