Design of preamplifier for guitar effects generation.
Müller, Radek ; Kratochvíl, Tomáš (referee) ; Brančík, Lubomír (advisor)
The topic of my bachelor's project is preamplifier blueprint for creation of certain guitar effects. Output signal from an electric guitar is often modified for musician's needs. My objectives are to discover options of signal modifications, electronical solution of preamplifiers and final effect on sound character. My targets are to design and construct two chosen guitar effects, which will distort the output sigal from an electic guitar. Both wirings will be tested by computer simulation and then will be compared with real circuit wiring. Its necessary to box up the printed circuit board and place control and signal elements to accesible place.

Polák, Radek ; Kolářová, Jana (referee) ; Kolář, Radim (advisor)
The build preamplifier and the EEG Signal Measure Virtual Machine is the aim of this project. The abstract of actual clinical electroencefalography, the ways of measurement and processing of brain signals by clinical machines, and introducing my way of measure signal are placed in this work. The preamplifier has been designed for amplification of the brain signal, LabView virtual machine for maesurement and processing amplified signal. This project includes the measure output, the description of virtual machine, and the advice using of this product.
Class AB audio amplifier for two satellites and subwoofer
Cupák, Jan ; Brančík, Lubomír (referee) ; Kratochvíl, Tomáš (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis deals with design of AB class audio amplifiers. Further more it deals also with other functional blocks, e.g. preamplifier, tone equalizer and active crossover. Outcome of this work is a complete solution of the amplifier with it's simulation. In final solution is also included scheme of a high quality power supply unit, speaker protection and heat sinks for high performance transistors. In this project is also included a solution of task about optimal mechanical arrangement of the single parts in the case of this amplifier. This thesis contains results of measurement and photo document of functional prototype.
Tube microphone preamplifier
Čacký, Adam ; Hruboš, Zdeněk (referee) ; Brančík, Lubomír (advisor)
The theme of the master´s thesis is design a microphone preamplifier which uses vacuum tube as a main amplifying element. Part of the work is theoretical assumptions for the optimal design and implementation of peripheral involvement, comparing the properties of components used and the resulting parameters of modeled device. The thesis also includes a proposal of the source unit for supplying all parts of the preamplifier. The results are accompanied by circuit simulations and laboratory measurements of the main parameters of the designed device.
Design of bass guitar preamplifier
Müller, Radek ; Tošovský, Petr (referee) ; Brančík, Lubomír (advisor)
This thesis deals with analog bass guitar preamplifiers and related functional blocks such as equalizers and bass effects. The first part contains a theoretical analysis of individual functional blocks preamplifiers and principles as well as an outline of the design and construction principles. In the following section is presented a design of connection that involves a bass guitar preamplifier, including an equalizer, an integrated distortion effect and an amplifier for headphone output. The proposed connections are simulated in the PSpice program and the printed circuit boards design is carried out using the Eagle program. Based on previous results, the construction of a bass guitar preamplifier is realized. The parameters of the individual blocks are measured and compared with the simulations.
Design and Implementation of Active Loudspeaker System with Digital Input
Uchytil, Filip ; Balík, Miroslav (referee) ; Schimmel, Jiří (advisor)
The work is focused on a design of an active loudspeaker system with a bi-amp amplifier and a digital input. There is described the theory of a loudspeaker enclosure design and its practical implementation. Furthermore the work deals with a design and construction of input circuits such as a preamplifier, Baxandall tone control, active crossover, all-pass filter and S/PDIF. On the basis of the amplifier´s theory the optimal construction of amplifiers and their design are selected. The complex design of the loudspeaker box is devised so that it would reach a maximum acoustic power during the preservation of a low distortion.
Computer design of the small CATV
Sedláček, Jan ; Slanina, Martin (referee) ; Říčný, Václav (advisor)
Main task of this bachelor’s thesis is to create an interactive automatic programme for designing circuits of individual or small common television aerial. The first part of this document describes main conceptions distribution of television signals, parameters of coaxial cable and also some kinds of signals distortion. There are described some important mathematics formulas used for calculation of coaxial cable attenuation and carrier to noise distance important for computing function of programme. The second part describes a procedure of designing of television cable circuit of individual or small common television aerial and includes prototypal calculation of two real circuits and its comparison with results of computer calculation by which correct function of programme is verified. A part of this document is also made by detailed description of programme and its functions. Source code of created programme is included in the end of this document.
Broadband Lownoise Amplifier
Varga, Kamil ; Havránek, Zdeněk (referee) ; Beneš, Petr (advisor)
The bachelor thesis describes the problems of broadband low-noise preamplifiers and the conditions of their design, including their printed circuit board. Furthermore, the thesis considers debugging and measuring of the most important parameters of these amplifiers. All of these problems are explained on two practical solutions.
Dualband Antenna for Global Navigation Satellite System
Mikulášek, Tomáš ; Lukeš, Zbyněk (referee) ; Láčík, Jaroslav (advisor)
This master’s thesis introduces to the reader with a modern antenna type the microstrip patch antennas. The most common types of microstrip antennas and their parameters and feeding methods are introduced in the theoretical section of this master’s thesis. This section deals with the circularly polarized microstrip antennas. Design of an active dual-band circularly polarized antenna for global navigation satellite application in the AWR Microwave Office is presented in the practical section. The proposed single-fed dual-band circularly polarized design is achieved using two stacked square microstrip patches. The antenna operates at the L1 + E1 and L5 + E5a frequency bands. Antenna preamplifier consists of a low-noise transistor and a dual-band band-pass filter. The thesis describes realization and measurement results of the dual-band antenna performance in the anechoic chamber. Measured results of the preamplifier performance are presented.

Dušek, Martin ; Kratochvíl, Tomáš (referee) ; Brančík, Lubomír (advisor)
In this bachelor thesis I am occupied with low frequency amplifiers, theirs important parameters, classes and with integrations end-level. Next I am occupied with miscellaneous types of preamplifiers and additional circuits. There are simulated schemes of corrective preamplifier, protections scheme and high power amplifier in PSpice software in this thesis. These schemes and next additional modules are connected with DPS. This thesis contains result of measurement and photo functional sample.
