The bachelor's thesis is focused on students' knowledge of pre-medical first aid. The theoretical part provides an overview of the history of first aid, its division and general first aid procedures for selected types of injuries. The empirical part is de-veloped on the basis of a didactic test. The aim is to map the theoretical know-ledge of pupils, at the unnamed secondary vocational school within the South Mo-ravian region, from lay first aid. Based on the results, graphs, an overall summary, and a conclusion with recommendations for pedagogical practice are prepared.
First Aid Instruction and its mastering by particular Prague gymnazium students

This dissertation is based on a survey carried out in a particular Prague high school with both sports classes students and universal classes students. It is also based on school curriculum documents analysis. The author's aim was to reveal how a first aid issue is being dealt at this particular school. As well as find out the level of knowledge in first aid area both types of students possess. The last but not least goal was analysing students answers and evaluating whether there are differences between sports students' knowledge and universal students' knowledge. Teachers' premedical first-aid knowledges researched at selected secondary schools

This thesis Teachers' premedical first-aid knowledges researched at selected secondary schools deals with basic rules and procedures related to the pre-medical first aid. The major problem of the research is to carry out a survey based on questionnaires which are supposed to demonstrate what the teachers' level of knowledge regarding the pre-medical first aid at various types of secondary schools is (comprehensive school, secondary medical school, secondary technical school, and secondary business school) and to compare the results. Furthermore, the thesis endeavours to elaborate appropriate solution for particular schools on the basis of the results. The theoretical part is devoted to current pre-medical first aid procedures applied to particular types of injuries. The primary method of the theoretical part is the study of scientific literature, articles published in specialized magazines, and credible Internet sources. The practical part is elaborated on the basis of the results gathered by means of questionnaires distributed among selected secondary schools. This part incorporates statistical and graphical representation of the results consequent upon the research, and in addition suggestion for solutions at selected secondary schools.
Premedical Skills Level of Selected Primary School Pupils

The main emphasis of this thesis is to determine premedical skills level of selected primary school pupils. It compares 8th and 9th graders knowledge gained during the curricular subjects for primary schools and post-project ones. The project itself is focused on human health and first aid in emergency situations and it combines all didactic techniques including practical training at local medical high school. The thesis consists of two main parts, where theoretical part briefly introduces the history of first aid within the Red Cross, gives an insight into first aid legislation and shows fundamental first aid techniques. Knowledge level of first aid procedures among teachers of seleced primary schools in Karlovy Vary

This thesis is devoted to Topic: Knowledge level of first aid procedures among teachers of seleced primary schools in Karlovy Vary. In the theoretical part my focus is on the term pre- medical first aid, the principles of providing it, the legislation associated with first aid, mentioned are also the first-aider's safety, the principles of calling professional medical help, there are also the press line phone numbers stated. The thesis contains principles of first aid provided especially to children in selected injury and non-injury conditions. In practical part of this thesis I present quantitative research through questionnaire which was addressed to pedagogues of selected primary and secondary schools in Karlovy Vary. The data obtained were processed into graphs or tables. The main aim of this thesis was to discover the knowledge level of pre-medical first aid in teachers. The questionnaire evaluation suggests that the knowledge level of pre-medical first aid practices in by me selected teachers could be graded as B. It was discovered that the years of pedagogical experience in by me selected teachers might have an impact on the theoretical knowledge of providing pre-medical first aid. Knowledge pupils from grades 6 to 9 of elementary school in pre-primary first aid.

The aim of this work is to find out the knowledge of pupils of the second grade of primary school in pre-medical first aid. The theoretical part describes the characteristics and types of pre-medical first aid. Furthermore, a description of pre-medical first aid procedures in selected situations. In the practical part, the work deals with the knowledge of the pupils of the second stage of the selected primary school in the pre-medical first aid. The questionnaire was used for the solution, which was presented to the pupils of the sixth and ninth year of the selected primary school. The questionnaire investigated theoretical knowledge, knowledge in solving specific situations and the method of acquiring knowledge in pre-medical first aid. By evaluating the questionnaires, it was found that the pupils of the selected primary school respond correctly in 70 % and solve the situation in pre-medical first aid, the percentage of correct answers increases with the year and also that the pupils have higher knowledge in solving specific situations. Also, the school has a significant share in acquiring knowledge in pre-medical first aid pupils.
