The conditions of university - educated mothers of little children re-entering the labour market in the Czech republic.

Diploma thesis "The conditions of university - educated mothers of little children re- entering the labour market in the Czech republic" deals with reasons of long term interruption of qualified womens' career. The most frequently, they stay at home taking care of children three years, inspite of the fact, that they are motivated by their human capital and their need of self fulfillment to get back to their job as soon as possible. The thesis is based on the assumption that there is a substantial tension between work and family life of university - educated women. The thesis identifies which factors influence the period these women stay away the labour market. Besides a human capital, there is a frame of the family and institutional policy, a kind of household division of labour and culture context. The thesis focuses on tertiary - educated mothers' preference on their professional and household engagement. It also focuses on structural conditions in the labour market, institutional policy and the role of employer in reconciliation of work and family life. The thesis brings a contribution for its focus on university - educated women with their specific characteristics, and for its focus on employers' family - friendly activities.

This thesis deals with the problems of single mothers when they return to work after parental leave and it identifies changes of these problems over the last 25 years. In the last decade there has been a significant increase in the number of incomplete families, so it is important to pay attention to a group of single mothers. This social group is burdened by high rate of unemployment, which contributes to their difficult position on the labor market. They also face major complications in the harmonization of family and work life. This thesis focuses on single mothers' view on their situation. Whether they feel disadvantaged and which problems are the greatest in entering the labor market after parental leave. The aim of this study is also to find out if these problems are different today and were different before 1989 because of the change in regimes. Problems which the mother met will be served from their own perspective and their own experiences. To fulfill the aims of this work we have used primary data from qualitative research, which was realized by semi-structured interviews with six single mothers. We have also used secondary data from documents which are related to the issue of single parent and documents which are related to the change of the regime in 1989.

Loss of Employment as a Psychological and Social Problems, State Support in Returning to the Labour Market

Bachelor's thesis documents the process of notices and their influence on social and psychological human's enviroment. The thesis shows the interconnections between unemployment and psychological human's factors and also describes the changes in his social enviroment. The core of thesis is description of current characteristics of the unemployment, social and psychological influences and at last some characteristics about state employment policy. The thesis also includes the current problem of redistribution in social politics in Czech republic and suggests posibilities to rightful solution. The data in the bachelor's thesis are relevant to June 2012 and the laws valid to this date.
