Attendance analysis of HC Sparta Praha
Jankovič, Velimír ; Melzochová, Jitka (advisor) ; Babin, Jan (referee)
In bachelor thesis I investigate seasonal match attendance of HC Sparta Praha ice-hockey team in seasons 2002/2003 to 2012/2013 and the individual match attendance in seasons 2008/2009 to 2012/2013. The acquired data were processed by regression analysis and the effects of attendance determinants were quantified using OLS-method (ordinary least squares). The team rivalry and the prestigious players' appearance in match belong to the most significant factors. By derby-matches the attendance increased by almost 59%. On the other hand, there has not been found any coherency between the attendance and ticket price -- which gives to the Sparta's management a very good range for maneuvering regarding pricing policy.
Determinants of demand for the Jihlava Zoo services
Nacházel, Jan ; Rotschedl, Jiří (advisor) ; Babin, Jan (referee)
The aim of the bachelor thesis is to discover, which factors specify the demand for the Jihlava ZOO services, and recommend steps to raise attendance and revenues of the zoo. The time series with 2557 observations, which come from the period between 2007 and 2013, were used in the thesis. These data were used for econometric analysis, which was conducted with the ordinary least square method with robust standard errors against heteroscedasticity and autocorrelation. Most variables, which were included into the econometric model, proved themselves to be statistically significant. The attendance is positively influenced by bank holidays and weekends. Ticket price and petrol price do not play a significant role in visitors' decision making.

Visiting figures in a given period are provided Mr. Binder, warden of the Bítov castle. Theory section provides basic information about tourism, Vranovsko area and the Bítov castle and theory necessary for time series analysis. Identifikace faktorů ovlivňujících návštěvnost ubytovacích zařízení v České republice
Štěpánková, Milena
The aim is using an econometric analysis to identify factors influencing attendance of accommodation establishments in the Czech Republic and guest house LION. First of all I adapted the theoretical part and methodology to explain the issue and the most important concept. In the practical part using ordinary least squares were created two models. Then were tested all the assumptions of classical linear regression model.
Faktory ovlivňující příjezdový cestovní ruch v regionu soudržnosti Jihovýchod
Bumbálková, Andrea
The bachelor thesis is directed on determine factors influencing incoming tourism and on regression analysis of time series which is relates to number of foreign tourists in The South-East Cohesion Region. There are described basic concepts of tourism and the division of tourism in the theoretical part. And next there are described regions of The South-East Cohesion Region. Practical part is focused on summary of attendance in mass accommodation, next on regression analysis related to factors which could influence incoming tourism. The dates are processed by using time series in last part, which express attendance of foreign tourists in The South-East Cohesion Region.

Forgáčová, Monika
The aim of this bachelor thesis is to analyse the impact of foreign tourists from Asia on mass accommodation facilities in the South Moravian region. Using the data obtained from a market research the thesis deals with an analysis of the travel behaviour of this segment with special attention on tourists from China and Japan and then it continues with an analysis of visit rates of the tourists in mass accommodation facilities. The analysis is provided by the statistical methods including statistical time series. The results of the thesis can be useful for accommodation facilities as a source of information about foreign tourists coming from Asia.

Janíčková, Tereza
The aim of this bachelor thesis is to identify the effects of attendance of selected zoos in the Czech Republic by using statistical analysis. In the theoretical part are listed knowledge and concepts of tourism, zoo attendance and the theory of statistical analysis. The practical part includes an analysis of the monthly time series of selected zoos in the years 2007-2012, the following comparison between themselves, the identification of the factors influencing the attendance of selected zoos and their statistical testing. Which factors affect the attendance of Terezin Memorial?
Rezbáriková, Lucie ; Lahvička, Jiří (advisor) ; Brožová, Dagmar (referee)
This work analyzes factors, who affect the attendance of the Terezin Memorial. In my work I used data of daily attendance during the years 2003-2012. Increase of the price of one crown causes a decrease in attendance ceteris paribus by 0,55 % in the area of the Small Fortress, by 0,98 % in the area of the Ghetto Museum and by 0,80 % in the building of the Magdeburg Barracks. Daily rainfalls has an insignificant effect in all three models despite some parts of expositions are placed in open-air locations. The daily temperature affects the attendance positively only it is less than 16°C in the Small Fortress, then begins to decrease. The temperature increases the attendance positively only it is less than 17°C in the Ghetto Museum and 15°C in the Magdeburg Barracks. The area of Magdeburg Barracks has only indoor expositions. The infulence of weekends was proved as negatively in all three areas which is different from other works. The Terezin Commemoration Ceremony increases the number of visitors ceteris paribus over 200 % in all three models. The increase of the price in the combined ticket (allowing entry in all three areas at a bargain price) increases the attendance of Czechs ceteris paribus by 0,68 %. It doesn't have a significant impact in the case of foreign visitors. The daily temperature affects the attendance of Czechs positively only it is less than 13°C, in the case of foreing visitors until 21°C. Kever Avot (commemoration act) increases the attendance of Czechs and decreases the attendance of foreigners.
How non-price factors affect the attendance of the Museum of Eastern Bohemia in Hradec Králové?
Lukas, Jan ; Rotschedl, Jiří (advisor) ; Chytil, Zdeněk (referee)
This thesis analyses non-price factors influencing the attendance of the Museum of Eastern Bohemia in Hradec Králové. On the basis of daily data, from 05/2011 to 05/2013, using average daily temperature, total daily precipitation, marketing, work and school holidays and individual months, three models were construed -- a model of total attendance, attendance of adults and attendance of children and students. Research has proven expected negative influence of temperature through all three models. Furthermore, there was a strong positive influence of school and work holidays. The results have also shown almost 50% increase of student attendance during holidays. Similarly, attendance of adults increases even more during non-working days. Marketing was studied in different ways but its statistically relevant influence has been proved only in the groups of children and students. Their attendance increases by quarter during campaigns.
