Study of profile of refractive index structure parameter in atmosphere
Aubrecht, Ondřej ; Grábner,, Martin (referee) ; Hudcová, Lucie (advisor)
This work is dedicated to structural parameter of the refractive index in the atmosphere Cn2 and his various models. For comparison the models are simulated only for one area and only for one day. The work represented the influence of atmospheric turbulence on the communication environment and on the individual models. In addition this work is for selected areas and for the input conditions created program for modeling of structural parameters and meteorological data in the atmosphere
A House – A Chronicle
Volf, Anna ; Koryčánek, Rostislav (referee) ; Resslová, Veronika (advisor)
Diploma project “Chronicle House” is representing the creation of fictional historiographical interpretation of “the spirit of the place”. Rotunda is the columbarium The existence of object inside of the object, in this context, automatically creates a feeling of layeringness. The columbarium is oval shaped and the base level all the way by the perimeter consists of old windows from the panel houses, which were going through the process of modernization, particularly – change of windows. It serves now as a commemoration space. On the inside of the rotunda has been placed a museum of the ceased houses, where in the columbarium niches are placed models of these houses with the dates of birth and death, as well as with short epiphanies.
IMPACT OF STRATEGIC MANAGEMENT ON THE PROSPERITY OF THE COMPANY
Palíšek, Eduard ; Bartes, František (advisor)
The target of this dissertation thesis is to verify a relationship between strategic planning and prosperity of the company. Opinions of many experts about expediency of strategic planning vary. Some believe that strategic planning is a base for successful growth, while others demonstrate through results of many different researches that a direct relationship between strategic planning and success of the company cannot be proven. Therefore an empirical research was made to test hypotheses about the impact of strategic planning on prosperity of the company. The theoretical part of the thesis describes the development of strategic management followed by a description of internal and external business environments and the impacts which influence them. The theoretical part also describes the characteristics of strategic management and planning, tools and models as well as methods for measurement of efficiency of strategic planning. As the sub-target of this thesis is also to propose a simplified model of strategic planning which could be applied in small and medium size companies, the theoretical part is concluded by description of specifics of small and medium size companies. The analytical part of the thesis consists of detailed analyses of data collected through questionnaires. Based on results of those analyses, profiles of different categories of companies are synthesized. Conclusions of performed analyses and syntheses are used as a base for testing of validity of defined hypotheses. A new concept of the “4-segments model” of strategic planning is presented in the proposal part of the thesis. Benefits for theory and for practical use are evaluated at the end of the thesis.
Generating Realistic Tree Models
Luňák, Miroslav ; Jošth, Radovan (referee) ; Polok, Lukáš (advisor)
This thesis deals with generation of realistic tree models. Implemented algorithm has many variable parameters, which allow generating large amount of species of broad-leaved trees. Generated models are also quite realistic looking.
Contrast MRI perfusion imaging
Šejnoha, Radim ; Harabiš, Vratislav (referee) ; Krátká, Lucie (advisor)
This semestral thesis is focused on contrast MRI perfusion imaging using method of Dynamic Contrast-Enhanced MRI. It describes basic principles of nuclear magnetic resonance and puls sequences used in DCE MRI. The thesis contains a part dedicated to dynamic contrast imaging of phantom with experimental NMR device located at the Institut of Scientific Instruments of the ASCR in Brno. Results of measurements are analyzed based on models and reached perfusion parameters are discussed.
Cloud Solution for 3D Models Processing
Klemens, Jakub ; Veľas, Martin (referee) ; Španěl, Michal (advisor)
This thesis deals with the possibilities of processing 3D models in cloud applications. A C++ library called Cloud3D has been designed and implemented. The resulting library is used to quickly create client-server applications. The library is divided into three separate parts: Client, Service Provider and Load Balancer. The service provider runs in the cloud and provides 3D model processing services to client applications. The biggest advantage of Cloud3D is the ease of creating new applications with its help. Other benefits include scalability, assured implementation of look-a-side Load Balancer, and security ensured by the use of SSL certification.
Matlab models of DC/DC converters with transformer
Michalík, Martin ; Knobloch, Jan (referee) ; Pazdera, Ivo (advisor)
The aim of the Bachelor thesis was getting in touch with standard topologies of DC/DC converters with transformer, their realization in programming environment Matlab/Simulink with usage of Simscape library and processing the results of simulations. Part of work is given to theory of transformers and design of transformers model, which is important part of every DC/DC converter with transformer. Model of transformer is based on theoretical background and functionality is checked up by reference model. The main part is aimed to enlighten functionality of different variety of DC/DC converters with transformer, creating their models in programming environment Matlab/Simulink, simulate those models and process results of simulations.
Emotional intelligence and approaches to its cognition and measurement
Tarasenko, Sabina ; Boukalová, Hedvika (advisor) ; Niederlová, Markéta (referee)
The purpose of this study is to provide an overview of the development of the concept of emotional intelligence, the most important concepts dealing with this topic and the methods used for its recognition and measurement, which are associated with models. For better orientation in the topic, the concept of emotions and emotional intelligence applied in selected fields is also explained and defined. In the empirical part, the research is designed to create measurement methods of emotional intelligence, which utilizes the integrated model and combines the self-assessment questionnaires from more models with FACS and MSCEIT. Research should, on a large stratified sample, show, if the newly created method validly measures the level of emotional intelligence through parallel validation of the MSCEIT. Finally, it describes the possibilities of using the method and the actual outcome, expressed with the emotional quotient, in practice.
Optimalizační nástroj pro modely s hlubokým učením
FILIP, Václav
The goal of this thesis is to create a tool capable of optimizing parameters and structure of deep learning models. There are various ways to create a model like changing types and number of layers, various numerical parameters of the layers etc. These parameters greatly influence the quality of the model. Newly created tool is to offer functionalities not offered by any existing solution - these new functionalities are based on comparison of existing solutions. New solution is created in python.
Modelling eye movements during Multiple Object Tracking
Děchtěrenko, Filip ; Lukavský, Jiří (advisor) ; Toth, Peter Gabriel (referee)
In everyday situations people have to track several objects at once (e.g. driving or collective sports). Multiple object tracking paradigm (MOT) plausibly simulate tracking several targets in laboratory conditions. When we track targets in tasks with many other objects in scene, it becomes difficult to discriminate objects in periphery (crowding). Although tracking could be done only using attention, it is interesting question how humans plan their eye movements during tracking. In our study, we conducted a MOT experiment in which we presented participants repeatedly several trials with varied number of distractors, we recorded eye movements and we measured consistency of eye movements using Normalized scanpath saliency (NSS) metric. We created several analytical strategies employing crowding avoidance and compared them with eye data. Beside analytical models, we trained neural networks to predict eye movements in MOT trial. The performance of the proposed models and neuron networks was evaluated in a new MOT experiment. The analytical models explained variability of eye movements well (results comparable to intraindividual noise in the data); predictions based on neural networks were less successful.
