Effective communication between the school canteen manager and the primary school headmaster

TITLE: Effective communication between the school canteen manager and the primary school headmaster AUTHOR: Hana Foralová DEPARTMENT: Education Management Centre SUPERVISOR: Mgr. Irena Lhotková, PhD ABSTRACT: This bachelor's thesis deals with the topic of effective communication in the area of the relationship between the school canteen manager and the primary school headmaster, in a situation where the school canteen operates under the auspices of the primary school organization. Under this arrangement, communication between two disparate environments arises which places considerable strain on the communicating parties and puts special demands on their communication skills, in particular on the part of the primary school headmaster. The objective of this bachelor's thesis is to answer the following questions: What are the key common areas of this communication, if any? What is the optimum frequency of mutual communication? Which communication channels are the most frequently used ones in this internal communication? The collected materials and evaluation of results have been summarized at the end of the thesis into a brief recommendation, a simple manual that might serve as the basis for developing or enhancing effective communication in the given area. The goal of the bachelor thesis is to create proposal of offer optimization for service providers of physical activities for seniors. The first part deals with literature overview discussing active ageing and communication channels which seniors use when searching for physical activity opportunities. The second part focuses on analysis of primary and secondary data based on which the proposal was created. Separate chapter is dedicated for the proposal of optimization. Chapter discussion describes the limits and limiting factors.

The bachelor's thesis "Presidential elections in the Czech Republic 2013 in the light of theory of communication" is focused on the theory of Czech political scientist K. W. Deutsch. This theory is based on the classic publication Nerves of Government. The thesis deals with the Czech presidential elections in 2013 and analysis of the communication channels of the candidates in the light of specific features of the Deutsch's communication theory. Its goal is to define the most accurate communication channels for usage in political campaigns according to K. W. Deutsch's theory.

Influence of communication elements on interpersonal behaviour

This dissertation deals with the topic of the influence of communications elements on interpersonal role of manager. One of the managers priority skills is to be able to use communication that serves as the main tool for managing follow-up activities and creates early his entire workload. The dissertation is composed of two parts. Theoretical concepts such as management, managers roles and functions, forms of communication and the use of communication in the managers work are explained by a study of academic literature in the first part of the dissertation. The practical part of the dissertation is based on qualitative research using a questionnaire aimed at managers in the chosen organization Service Centre for Road Transport. This method was chosen because of the possibility of gaining a large amount of information and data in a very short period of time, maintaining anonymity and speed in analysing the information obtained. Outputs are evaluated and graphically processed.
