Nástroje pro vyhledávání informací o osobách na Internetu

Cílem této bakalářské práce je poskytnout shrnující pohled na problematiku vyhledávání informací o osobách na internetu a představit specifické informační zdroje pro tuto oblast a nástroje pro efektivní vyhledávání v těchto zdrojích. První část práce je věnována vymezení dané problematiky, která spadá do oblasti Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT). V práci jsou popsány pojmy jako reálná, virtuální (či online) a technická identita uživatele. Dále je popsán zpravodajský cyklus jako optimální postup při vyhledávání a zpracování informací. Další část práce je zaměřena více prakticky a popisují se v ni relevantní informační zdroje pro získávání informací o osobách. Současně jsou v této části popsány nástroje pro vyhledávání v těchto zdrojích. Popis všech zde uvedených nástrojů vychází z praktického otestování provedeného autorem práce. Většina těchto nástrojů je určena pro vyhledávání pouze v některém konkrétním informačním zdroji, přičemž tuto činnost zvládají lépe než například univerzálně zaměřené vyhledávače. Následuje srovnání vybraných komplexních nástrojů pro vyhledávání (zástupce vyhledávačů Google, metavyhledávače Professional Web Orchestra a Copernic Agent, nástroj pro vyhledávání a forenzní analýzu dat Paterva Maltego a aplikace pro vyhledávání a analýzu dat Tovek Tools). Závěrečná část práce je věnována analýze a zpracování informací s důrazem na nástroje pro grafickou vizualizaci dat nebo analýzu sociálních sítí. Tato část dále popisuje možné způsoby hodnocení relevance (kredibility získaných informací) a popis možného výstupu vyhledávání.

Přezkoumání informačního portálu www.ikvalita.cz

Diplomová práce se zabývá přezkoumáním internetového informačního portálu o managementu kvality ikvalita.cz. Cílem je navrhnout možná zlepšení portálu. Součástí práce je teoretická část věnovaná informačním zdrojům a metodologii zlepšování. Praktická část práce vychází z analýzy současného stavu informačního portálu. Je provedena analýza obsahu, struktury, návštěvnosti i SWOT analýza, která zjištěné poznatky shrnuje a stanovuje silné stránky i příležitosti ke zlepšování. Na analýzu navazuje navržení konkrétních opatření a to jak pro krátkodobý časový horizont (do půl roku), tak pro delší časové období. Komercializací portálu se zabývá závěrečná část práce, která navrhuje několik způsobů.

Podpora vědy a výzkumu v univerzitních knihovnách

Knihovna již dávno není pouze místem pro výpůjčku knih, ale stává se primárně centrem služeb. Zejména univerzitní knihovny obsluhují široké spektrum uživatelů od studentů přes doktorandy až po vědecké pracovníky a nabízejí bohaté portfolio služeb pro všechny cílové skupiny. Přednáška přiblíží, co vše může knihovna nabídnout pro podporu vědy, výzkumu a Open Access na příkladu Knihovny Univerzity Tomáše Bati ve Zlíně. Ta s využitím nejmodernějších technologií (SFX, MetaLib, DSpace, Xerxes..) a informačních specialistů vychází vstříc požadavkům těch nejnáročnějších uživatelů - vědců a studentů doktorských programů.

Present State and Plans in collecting and making Grey Literature accessible in the CVTI SR (Slovak Centre of Scientific and Technical Information)

The CVTI SR is a national information center for the support of science and research and a specialized scientific public library focused on technical fields of study and selected areas of sciences, economics and the humanities. The aim of the contribution is to describe the relations between the CVTI SR and the Library Act No. 183/2000 in connection with gray literature (GL), to outline the present state, intentions and possibilities of obtaining, collecting and making GL accessible in the CVTI SR. Basic prerequisites for the establishment of a depository of GL in the Data Research and Development Center are outlined.

Grey Literature from Archivist’s Viewpoint

The contribution shall deal with the issue of gray literature in archives. The author shall concentrate on differences in understanding gray literature from the viewpoint of an archivist and the viewpoint of a librarian and certain intersection of both professions in this area. The contribution shall mention manners of obtaining gray literature in the archive practice, it’s depositing in archive funds and collections and methods of its subsequent processing and making available to readers.

GL Transparency: Through a Glass, Clearly

GL (Grey literature, interpreted here as grey objects) is very heterogeneous in content, form and quality. Most GL objects evolve through a workflow. Some of these phases involve some form of evaluation or peer review, commonly internal within the management structure of an organisation and possibly involving external advice, including from ‘friendly peers’ via an e-preprint mechanism. Unlike white literature the evaluation process commonly is unrecorded and undocumented. This leads to accusations that grey literature lacks quality and transparency.

A terminology-based Re-definition of Grey Literature

The conventionally accepted definition of Grey Literature, as Information produced and distributed by non-commercial publishing, does not take into consideration either the increasing availability of forms of grey knowledge, or the growing importance of computer-based encoding and management as the standard mode of creating and developing grey literature. Semi-automated terminological analysis of almost twenty years of terminological creativity in the proceedings of eleven GL International Conferences offers the opportunity to pave the way to a bottom-up redefinition of Grey Literature stemming from attested terminological creativity and lexical innovation.
