Friction and lubrication of fascia
Chmelík, Jiří ; Daniel, Matej (referee) ; Vrbka, Martin (advisor)
The diploma thesis was part of the project "Regeneration and lubrication of fascia with hyaluronan" of the company Contipro a.s., whose main goal is the development of an injectable medicinal product. The number of patients suffering from so-called myofascial lower back pain is increasing. The cause of the pain is increased hyaluronic acid, which is produced between the layers of the fascia. If the viscosity is low, the fascia layers are not affected and the coefficient of friction is low. The purpose of the product is to improve the sliding movement of the fascia and relieve patients of pain. The main component of the medicine is hyaluronic acid. The project included rheological and tribological analysis of hyaluronic acid samples. A tribological model of fascia in a pin-on-plate configuration was created for the analysis of the coefficient of friction. Based on the fascia models used, the dependence between the coefficient of friction and viscosity of native hyaluronic acid solutions was found. For models and real fascias, the native solution (Bonharen) was found to have better friction properties than hyaluronic acid derivatives. These analyzes have contributed not only to the development of the drug, but also to the emergence of other studies that would like to address the biotribology of fascia.
The effect of therapeutic intervention on the functionality of ankle joint in long jumpers
ZÁHOROVÁ, Adéla
This bachelor's thesis deals with the effect of therapeutic intervention on the functionality of the ankle joint in long jumpers. The work consists of two parts - theoretical and practical. The theoretical part first describes the anatomy of the ankle joint and the description of the myofascial structures of the ankle joint. Furthermore, the biomechanics of ankle joint movement are summarized here, and then the long jump itself and the training process of jumpers are described. At the end of the theoretical part, the concept of Movement Assessment Technologies (M.A.T), which was used for functional testing, is described. The practical part consists of qualitative type research. The research group consisted of 3 probands aged 18-22, who already specialize exclusively in the long jump. Therapies took place individually for two months at regular intervals. All probands completed their regular training schedule without restriction during the study. I used the technique of interview, aspect, palpation and testing to obtain data. The objectives of the work were twofold. The first goal was to propose a physiotherapeutic procedure suitable for improving the functionality of the ankle joint in long jumpers. The second goal was the proposal to implement the suggested physiotherapy of the ankle joint into the athlete's training process. Based on the results, it can be concluded that the goals of the bachelor's thesis were met. I proved that the proposed therapy is suitable for improving the function of the ankle joint and it is realistic to add it to the training process of an athlete.

Zbuzková, Petra ; Malá, Jitka (advisor) ; Pánek, David (referee)
Title: Function and mechanics of fascias focused to shoulder girdle Objectives: The main subject of the diploma thesis is the issue of fascial concatenation. The aim of the diploma thesis is a systematic study findings related to the selected issue and introduce concepts, that deal with the fascial concatenation. For a specific example of fascial concatenation was chosen from a practical standpoint shoulder girdle in relation to the entire upper limb. Methods: The thesis methodologically equivalent to a theoretical type of work - job search. Results: By processing the literature sources was created a comprehensive overview that relates to the topic of fascial concatenation. Attention was focused on the arrangement of fascial tissue, not only in terms of stratification, but also due to its layout. One of the chapters was focused on mechanical functions and models explaining changes in fascial tissue behavior during therapy. The thesis presented three general concepts dealing with fascial concatenation whose specific strings were introduced in the shoulder girdle in relation to the entire upper limb. Keywords: fascia, fascial chain, shoulder girdle

Zetková, Barbora ; Zapletalová, Alena (advisor) ; Hálková, Jindřiška (referee)
BAKALÁŘSKÉ PRÁCE V AJ Author: Barbora Zetková Tutor: Bc. Alena Zapletalová Konzultant: Mgr. Silvie Táborská Title: The usage of visceral manipulation on the patients with vertebrogenic disorders Abstract: This bachelor thesis will be focusing on the osteopathic method of visceral manipulation, specifically its usage on the patients with vertebrogenic problems. The vertebrogenic problems are the second most common causes of a doctor's visit. However, determining the cause and source of the problem is not always easy and the patient is often referred for an examination and treatment to the various specialists, unfortunately mostly without any effects. Visceral manipulation looks at with the vertebrogenic disorders in the context of viscerovertebral relations and in therapy it focuses mainly on the organ system. The knowledge which the VM offers could thus be a way of treating these problems. This thesis is divided into the theoretical part and the practical part. The theoretical part is further divided into two main sections. The first one is focusing on the vertebrogenic difficulties and the viscerovertebral relations. The second section is focusing mainly on the VM method itself. The practical part contains two diagnostic cases of vertebrogenic patients. The main goal of this thesis is to provide...
Využití Dornovy metody při poruchách pohybového aparátu psů
Brandejská, Kateřina
In my Bachelor Thesis I deal with the anatomy and physiology of the dog support apparatus and describe Dorn's method as one of the possible therapies that can help in removing the mechanical causes that lead to certain diseases of the locomotor apparatus. In the first part I deal with anatomy and physiology of bones, muscles and fascia. Next, I present the Dorn´s method and what it serves more precisely. Diseases are an integral part of the therapist's knowledge, so I devote a great deal of work to them and analyze the possibilities of treating individual illnesses. Beginners and recommended therapists must be familiar with contraindications in which the Dorn´s method can not be performed. In the next chapter I deal with cupping because it is one of the parts of the Dorn´s method in the case of dropped vertebral joints. In conclusion, we mention dog sports, dog handling, veterinary treatments, breeding dogs and more.
