The Usage of the Norm ISO series in the Company
Coufalová, Hana ; Hladíková, Bedřiška (referee) ; Luňáček, Jiří (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is focused on evaluating the usage of the norm ČSN EN ISO 14001:2005 in ENVIRO-EKOANALYTIKA, s.r.o. which works in the field of ecological services. Based on the theoretical knowledge of environmental management system I will evaluate the usage of the norm using a model of a fictive ecological accident. The thesis will be focused on the costs needed to rectify the accident, as well as on possibilities of improvement, which would help to prevent accidents in the future.
Monitoring environmental costs on the environment in company
Cimbalníková, Eva ; Horáková, Věra (referee) ; Kocmanová, Alena (advisor)
In this Bachelor´s thesis would be focused on the environmental management system of a company, it´ s instruments, first of all on the environmental costs monitoring. These costs will be defined; also the meaning and importance of a connection between ecology and company economics will be illustrated. In the research part will be used theoretic knowledge for a chosen company, where current situation in environmental costs monitoring will be analysed and then will be proposed specific efficient method. This conclusion would fulfil the target of the thesis.

Ecology in lighting
Špidlík, Jan ; Štěpánek, Jaroslav (referee) ; Krbal, Michal (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis is focused on introduction to ecology in lighting technology. There are briefly described individual light sources and chemical substance used in the manufacture of components. For clarity is amount of toxic mercury in each light source displayed in well-arranged picture. Thesis is also focused on the influence of lighting technology in the environment and impact on the ecosystem. Closer look is made upon influence of mercury on environment and human life and also overall influence of mining metals and its devastating consequences for ecosystem. This work also deals with post processing of light sources by collective systems.
Arching
Willertová, Aneta ; Dolanová,, Lenka (referee) ; Klímová, Barbora (advisor)
The topic of this bachelor's thesis is the formation of so-called "personal mythologies" - subjective constructs of reality which are created spontaneously and naturally as a result of the need of inner and outer world interpretation. These constructs are built on the groundwork of experiences, impressions and memories, associating organically and creating unique bonds. The work put a goal to make this topic as an environment which will show the spectator those bonds, background of their formation and final mythologies as a selfportraits unit.
Distribution of pharmaceuticals in wastewater treatment plants
Šilhánková, Lenka ; Čáslavský, Josef (referee) ; Vávrová, Milada (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis deals with a trending topic – wastewater distribution of pharmaceuticals proven to be toxic to non-target organisms – specifically, the occurrence of beta-blockers, plentifully used in treating hypertension and other cardiovascular diseases, is discussed. Members of this group, Atenolol, Acebutolol and Bisoprolol were chosen for closer study. The elimination of these chemicals was observed in three wastewater treatment plants (WWTP) with different treatment technologies and various number of population equivalents. For said analytes, UHPLC with UV/VIS detection using diode array detector (DAD) method was optimalised. A part of this thesis also deals with optimalization of isolation and concentrating the analytes. Unfortunately, the described method was not suitable for real sample analysis, because in most samples, the limit of quantification or even the limit of detection was not exceeded. It would be best for an analytical method with higher sensitivity, e. g. mass detector, to be used. The data gained in this experiment do not hold any informational value about the effectiveness of WWTP, as the exact amount of Acebutolol in effluent was measured only in one case. Based on the to-date executed analysis, it is impossible to conclude whether the quality of the treated water, concerning the content of aforementioned pharmaceuticals, is in any way ideal.
Risk analysis and management technology phases roofs of buildings
Mík, Petr ; Bednářová, Bronislava (referee) ; Vymazal, Tomáš (advisor)
This master thesis deals with analysis and evaluation of quality, environmental and safety risks linked with two roof cover types. Malfunction analysis was carried out on the most risky roof cover component. Afterwards risk analysis was done according to ČSN EN 31010:2011 Risk management – Risk assessing techniques regulation. Following methods were chosen for risk assessment - Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), RIPRAN method, cause-and-effect analysis (Ishikawa diagram) and Pareto chart. Using aforementioned methods, risks were identified and evaluated. Countermeasures for identified risks were suggested in conclusion.
Risk analysis and treatment of the technological process
Vengřínová, Hana ; Bednářová, Bronislava (referee) ; Vymazal, Tomáš (advisor)
This diploma thesis deal with analysis and evaluation risks of the technological process of bored piles. Risks are divided into divisions of quality, environmental and safety. Subsequently conducted a risk analysis. The risk assessment was made by following methods - Risk Matrix, FMEA (Analysis Failure Modes and Effects) and Pareto chart. With the help of these methods are assessed identified risks and proposed appropriate measures for risk retention.
