The effectiveness of targeted subsidies in the selected region

The essence of the thesis is to evaluate the effectiveness of targeted subsidies in the selected region. Of the many special-purpose grants provided were the following three: Natural handicap payments provided in mountain areas and payments in other less favored areas (LFA), agrienvironmental measures (AEO) and the national supplementary pension (Top-up). On the basis of selected indicators, an evaluation of the effectiveness of targeted support for the period 2005-2010.
Effectiveness of services in municipality - construction of a new bypass

This thesis presents evaluation of effectiveness of selected public services in the village Lukavec. Individual public services are described and evaluated in terms of importance for citizens and in terms of funding from municipal budget. The level of most services is satisfactory but transport infrastructure is a complication in the village. High frequency of passing transport, mostly heavy trucks, causes burden to a community. A solution to the traffic situation is the proposed construction of a bypass of the village. The new construction should have a positive impact on the community and improve the quality of life in the village.
The Problem of Equality and Efficiency in the Implementation of Government Programmes

The goal of this work is to show particular conditions and problems according to Equality and Effecciency of Government Progammes and offer possibilities how to solve them, improve them or alternatives to those problems on particular examples. Theoretical part of this work is at first about the role of Public Sector in the National Economy, reasons why is this sector involved in some parts of economy, especially in Healthcare Services. This part is followed by concepts of Efficiency evaluation of particular Government Programmes and theoretical concepts about Equality. Practical part is then aimed on Regulative charges introduced in the Healthcare Services in the Czech Republic.
Possibilities of estimating the efficiency of financial system and granting social services

A significant problem of functioning the public sector is to ensure the efficiency of public expenditures. Efficiency model's creating is a dynamic process that requires regular evaluation of the socioeconomic conditions. The efficiency of financial system and granting social services is still not measured in the Czech Republic. The area of social services is affected by number of criteria and factors. So it is necessary to apply different views on evaluating the efficiency of social care, social prevention and social counseling. The efficiency of social services can not be estimated as a whole, but we should focus on different groups of social services and individual services within the group. In this thesis the efficiency is measured in the two selected residental social care services -- homes for the elderly and homes for people with disabilities. The applied methods was used only to a limited extent because of lacks of many important variables in the area of official statics. In the case of multiple criteria methods the calculation was also impeded by the availability of suitable software.

This Bachelor's thesis falls thematically into field of Social Policy. Specifically it deals in Czech Republic yet known, but abroad evolving system of Social Care. Self-Directed Support (SDS) is a support led by an individual and is designed for people with disabilities, the elderly and long-term sick. A fundamental role is set for personal budget, which is closely linked with users of Social Care, and grandts them possibility to allocate funds according to their needs and wishes. British organization is an example of implementation SDS in practice. The thesis analyses the SDS model in the context of the historical development and current Social Care system in England and concludes to the great potential of effectiveness.
A Study of the Feasibility

There is the high saturation of markets in this turbulent time. In common with the competition are markets like an impregnable fortress. So the words like segmentation, targeting and positioning have been playing the key role during selection of required market. The aim of submitted work is to value the efficiency of implemented plan. The point is about branch establishing and its retrospective evaluation of Feasibility Study. This step will be done with some analysis and factors. The last episode will be the part of recommendation for getting it better.
Analysis of the effectiveness of public expenditure on anti-corruption projects in the Czech Republic

The aim of the work was to analyze the effectiveness of financing the anti corruption programs. Therefore, three non- government organizations were analyzed, compared and after was identified which of the organizations is the most successful in the implementation of anti corruption policy.
The analysis of a relationship between the level of public ownnership and the procurement effectiveness in utilities sector

This master thesis is focused on the public procurement in the utilities sector. The main objective is to analyze the influence of the level of the public sector ownership on the public procurement effectiveness. To give the complex view of the problem, the study also determines the final impact of the public procurement effectiveness on the global operational effectiveness. The theoretical part starts with the analysis of the legal directives and the environment in the relevant sectors. The analytical part uses the econometrics methods for the data file of utilities sector procurement from the period of 2006-2011 based on the information from ISVZ and Creditinfo-Albertina systems. When the conclusions are made, the public sector ownership has the positive impact on the public procurement effectiveness but the contrary effect on the global operational effectiveness.
Efficiency of tax administration (approaches, measurement, comparison)

The aim of the thesis is to analyze the efficiency of the activities of tax administration by selected indicators. These indicators will be calculated for the tax administration in Czech republic, Slovakia, Austria and Netherlands during the period of 2000 - 2010. The international comparision will be made according to availiable data. From the comparison will be drawed conclusions of the best structure of the tax administration.
Efficiency evaluation of investment incentives in film industry in Czech republic

The goal of my bachelor's thesis is the evaluation of efficiency of investment incentives in the czech film industry. I am presenting description of mechanisms and sources of financing for audiovisual productions, mostly from public sources. The main part of this thesis focuses on the process and efficiency of the "Film Industry Support Programme" which was launched in 2010. This programme was mainly launched because of significant decay of abroad film productions which were shooting in Czech republic and also this programme is handy financing tool for both czech and abroad productions. Furthermore I am presenting a cost - benefit analysis combined with tax - estimating methods to calculate the approximate financial benefits flowing back as public earnings. This analysis is being applied on a tangible pre-budget of an audio-visual project that was supposed to be produced in czech republic and would probably gain a legal right to acquire the programmes incentive.
