Hierarchical Techniques in Lighting Computation
Ligmajer, Jiří ; Polok, Lukáš (referee) ; Navrátil, Jan (advisor)
This master thesis deals with description of hierarchical techniques in global lighting computation. Here is explaining the importance of hierarchical techniques in lighting computation and shows method, how to use these hierarchical techniques in realtime radiosity and its extension to dynamic area lighting. These two techniques are described in detail in the first part of this project. In the other part is desing and implementation of application for dynamic area lighting computation.
Electronic control units of present SI-engines
Michna, Lukáš ; Beran, Martin (referee) ; Dundálek, Radim (advisor)
Bachelor’s thesis named „Electronic control units of present SI-engines” treats of presently known and extended electronic control systems of SI-engines, so those ones, who mainly control both fuel-air mixture preparing and its ignition in combustion chamber. These are two fundamental functions for engine running, so they are described in light of basic principle of operation and also in light of each kind of these systems and its developmental stage description. Next point is enumeration and description of single parts of electronic control system participating in engine controlling, separated to logic sections. The end of publication makes reader acquainted with most extended types of electronic control systems, their producers and elementary differences.
Model of Nonlinear System
Florian, Radim ; Holý, Miroslav (referee) ; Ošmera, Pavel (advisor)
The Thesis provides the project and realization of non-linear system, consisting of direct electric motor and dynamo that are linked together with flexible connector. Firstly, there are decscribed the principles of turns control in direct motor. Secondly, the thesis shows the construction of operating panel with microcontroller PIC16F877. Finally, the last part brings the evaluation of mesurements and suggests various improvements of the operational panel.
Design of a Body and Sensor System of a Robot
Marvan, Aleš ; Drahanský, Martin (referee) ; Orság, Filip (advisor)
This thesis deals with a problematic of mobile robot design. There is proposed a design and realization of a mobile robot intended for an international competition - Minisumo. The first step in the development process is collecting of information, which helps us to find the most suitable elements. The next step is choosing of the individual elements fulfilling the design requirements according to their specification.
The Communicative Approach to Second Language Teaching in Current Textbooks of Czech for Foreigners
Valková, Jarmila ; Šebesta, Karel (advisor) ; Hádková, Marie (referee) ; Škodová, Svatava (referee)
The Communicative Approach to Second Language Teaching in Current Textbooks of Czech for Foreigners Jarmila Valková Abstract The general part of the thesis reviews the background, current understanding and key principles of the Communicative Approach to second language teaching with regard to their foundation in the Direct Oral Method. The objective, usual teaching techniques and textbook components of Communicative Language Teaching are compared to the ones used in the Grammar-Translation Method to show the essential difference between the direct and indirect language approaches to language acquisition and their implications for the character of textbook components. The research part of the thesis examines selected textbooks of Czech as a second language which are supposed to epitomise the following tendencies in the area of contemporary writing of textbooks of Czech for foreigners: a) consistent use of the strategies and textbook components based on the Grammar- Translation Method, b) eclectic application of Grammar-Translation strategies and components together with certain features of the Communicative Approach, c) coherent implementation of the Communicative Approach with related techniques and textbook components. Existence of the above mentioned tendencies in current textbooks of Czech as a second...
