Specialities of business environment, business and cultural specialities of Dalmatia and their influence on cooperation with the Czech Republic

This thesis aims to illustrate the business environment of Dalmatia, Croatia and its specialities of economic, cultural and business kind. It furthermore investigates the specific style of business dealings in the region and summarises what entrepreneurs considering business partnership with companies from Dalmatia should expect, how to prepare themselves for business negotiations and which steps to take during them and after signing of the contract. The thesis uses methods of PESTEL and SWOT analyses due to which the specialities of the environment are highlighted and then compared with corresponding elements of Czech environment. From the undertaken analyses it can be stated that Dalmatia fights high unemployment made up mostly by its seasonal element. Up to a fifth of the country's GDP is generated by tourism which creates unfavourable dependence of the economy on a swiftly changeable and volatile branch of the economy. The region is also admittedly characterized by a high share of renewable resources on the production of electrical energy and further potential in this branch, above average density of connection to the internet network in comparison to the rest of the country, and the interest of Czech investors in tourism, banking sector, energetics and food industry.
Cultural standards of the USA

The purpose of this diploma thesis is to describe the features of the American culture by analyzing the cultural standards, use them for comparison with the Slovak culture and create a set of recommendations for easier adaptation of the Slovaks in the United States. The work is divided into three parts - theoretical, practical and empirical. In the theoretical section we define the concept of culture, cultural standards and cultural dimensions, and on this basis we compare the features of the American and Slovak culture. The practical part describes the characteristics of the USA - national symbols, history, geography, religion, population, economy, political system, basic features of the US market, the impact of globalization and the specifics of the US business environment. The empirical section uses a questionnaire survey to examine the American culture from the Slovak point of view. The result of this thesis is a manual created with the use of the synthesis and comparison methods.
The thoughts and behaviors of the Vietnamese entrepreneurs about the economical market

This bachelor thesis is going to mention about the development of the Vietnamese economy; a general analysis and evaluation the situation of Vietnamese business people in both domestic and foreign markets as well as how traditional culture affects their business decision making. This work will go through two main parts. The first one is theoretical, which provides not just basic information about Vietnam and its culture aspect but also some certain suggestions while communicating and doing business with Vietnamese people. During this part we are going to talk about the way how Vietnamese people think about the market; which are their favorite industries which not with the reasons behind and their motivation in doing business. The second part will be the practical part which covering the analysis of the survey research and the results received.
Trade relations of the Czech Republic and Norway

The main target of this bachelor's thesis is the analysis of the development and structure of trade relations between the Czech Republic and Norway, comparison of the basic indicators of both economies and also evaluation of their foreign trade. Norway is currently the second largest supplier of natural gas, and therefore represents a form of diversification in terms of raw material dependence on Russia. The whole work is divided into five chapters. The first one focuses on fundamental and economic characteristics of the Czech Republic. The second chapter is associated with Norway and has the same composition as the previous one. The third chapter analyzes aspects of foreign trade of both countries. The fourth chapter describes the mutual business cooperation of the Czech Republic and Norway, with a focus on the trade balance and commodity structure of trade. The last chapter is aimed at the evaluation of the Norwegian trade negotiations and especially differences from the Czech business meeting.

There is analysed the economic situation of Norway, foreign trade, competitiveness in the international scale, cooperation with the EU, including the history of relations of Norway and the EU. The last chapter is devoted to cultural specifications of the Kingdom of Norway and business dealings in Norway.
Business and cultural customs of Hawaiian Islands

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to analyze business and cultural customs in Hawaii, based on information and available literature which I was able to get when I visited the Hawaiian Islands in person. Hawaii has many unique customs that are a true reflection on how the variety of ethnicities and cultural practices cohabitate together. The way of life there has been preserved over many centuries. The first part of the thesis describes geographical, historical, political and other basic specifications of the country. The second part concerns typical cultural customs of Hawai'i. The last part of my thesis specifies business customs of Hawaiian Islands and the key chapter examines the Business Dealings with Hawaiians.
Business and Cultural Specialities of South Africa

The first chapter is devoted to the basic information about South Africa - the characteristics of the state, its historical development, political system, foreign relations and economic situation. The second chapter summarises the foreign trade of the state - Southafrican import and export, and how the Czech Republic does business with South Africa. The last chapter is concentrated on the cultural specialities of South Africa. There is information about the inhabitants, religions, official languages, conception of the family, criminality, AIDS, public holidays, business etiquette and the comparison of the Czech and Southafrican cultures based on the Hofstede theory.
Psychological and sociological aspects of business dealings of real estate agents

The thesis describes the main assumptions of professional real estate agents. First at the theoretical level and then it compares these findings with real data. The result of this thesis is a picture of the characteristics of real estate agents and a creation of basic recommendations for improving their business practices.
Business and Cultural Customs in Sudan

The aim of the thesis is to analyze business and cultural customs in Sudan, partly based on the available theoretical information about the country, partly and mainly based on the experience of the experts from praxis. The first part of the thesis describes socioeconomic, political, historical and natural background of the country, the second part concerns typical cultural specifics of Sudan, the third part is fully based on information gained by my own research, i.e. analysis of business dealings and its customs according to the experience of Czech companies dealing with Sudanese business partners. Finally, history as well as current situation of Czech-Sudanese relations is summarized in the last, fourth part of the thesis.
