Fractals and Their Applications in Computer Graphics
Tesař, Martin ; Čermák, Martin (referee) ; Koutný, Jiří (advisor)
First part of this bachelors thesis consists of fractal theory, Hausdorff dimension and their applications in computer graphics. In second part is choosen idea for application. It is interactive creation of flame fractals. In this section, there is defined mathematical system of iterated functions, that is the heart of flame fractals. After mathematical examination follows analysis of original algorithm for creation of flame fractals. Thesis continues with methods for image improvement and suggests new enhancements.
Integration of inertial navigation with global navigation satellite system
Štefanisko, Ivan ; Otava, Lukáš (referee) ; Blaha, Petr (advisor)
This paper deals with study of inertial navigation, global navigation satellite system, and their fusion into the one navigation solution. The first part of the work is to calculate the trajectory from accelerometers and gyroscopes measurements. Navigation equations calculate rotation with quaternions and remove gravity sensed by accelerometers. The equation’s output is in earth centred fixed navigation frame. Then, inertial navigation errors are discussed and focused to the bias correction. Theory about INS/GNSS inte- gration compares different integration architecture. The Kalman filter is used to obtain navigation solution for attitude, velocity and position with advantages of both systems.
Stitching of Retinal Images
Hladyuk, Vadym ; Semerád, Lukáš (referee) ; Drahanský, Martin (advisor)
The purpose of this work is to create a complete picture of the retina, by stitching together a number of partial photos. Since there is no working solution which would be able to capture the entire retina in one picture, this is an important problem to cover. The results will be demonstrated at the end of the text. The problem of stitching partial pictures together was solved by extracting vessels in retinal images, finding key points in images, finding common key points, calculating a transformation matrix and transforming one image into another. After a consultation with an ophthalmologist I was able to define steps which will allow me to further improve the work, which are analyzed in texts. The thesis will provide the reader knowledge about the eye apparatus. It will also introduce field of color models, image formats, algorithms for searching for key points, the transformation of the images themselves and it will also provide a possible way to compose retinal images and also suggest possible improvements.
Detection of acute ischemia in ECG signals using vessel-specific leads
Lysák, Karel ; Kozumplík, Jiří (referee) ; Provazník, Ivo (advisor)
This master’s thesis deals with methods for detection of myocardial ischemia in the ECG signal. There is explained the principle of spreading of electrical activity through the heart muscle and its manifestations on the ECG. There are also mentioned the causes of myocardial ischemia and various methods of its detection in the ECG signal. In great detail there is explained the process of implementation of the two selected detection methods of myocardial ischemia in MATLAB. These methods are tested on the data from The PTB Diagnostic ECG Database. Finally, there is the presentation of detection results on used data and overall assessment of created algorithms.
Head Pose Estimation and Tracking
Transformation of ECG leads
Kaspar, Pavel ; Vítek, Martin (referee) ; Hrubeš, Jan (advisor)
Transformation of ECG The aim of this work is to get acquainted with the means of transformation of ECG, and to execute Dower transform and evaluate it’s efficiency. Then, to design and realize a new way of forward and reverse transformation of ECG in MATLAB program for the purpose of data compression, and to evaluate its functionality with signals from CSE database.
