Attention is paid to the particular individual activities of the manager in this area and also to personnel strategy. The general aim of this work is to offer some practical information to the manager in this type of organization. The theoretical section of this work contains the definition of human resource management and its importance. There is also a practical guideline how to prepare personnel strategy and how to execute all of the particular activities. Planning of human resources, recruitment and selection, training and adaptation, evaluation and rewards, education and development and discharge are covered. The empirical section utilizes methods of combined research to evaluate the successful personnel activities of NGO management (in the research region). This bachelor's thesis deals with human resources in company and focuses on personal strategy and recruitment. Its aim is to characterize and compare processes of recruitment and selection of new employees in two companies and propose solutions to increase the efficiency of these processes. The theoretical part is mainly focused on the overall characteristics of the recruitment and selection of new employees. In the practical is the theoretical knowledge confronted with real information from two companies. In conclusion of this thesis are compared processes of recruitment and proposed appropriate solutions for improvement.

The objective of this diploma thesis is the characteristic and the evaluation of the human resources management, an examination of the individual personal activities and the suggestion of general changes to improve the activities in the human resources management and the competitive capacity of a company. This diploma contains the theoretical statement of the human resources management, its most important activities followed by a comparison of the personal activities in the selected company engaged in highway constructions. The analysis of the personal activities in the selected company was completed by results taken from written interrogation.
