Brtnice City Bypass
Anděl, Petr ; Mitura, Jindřich (referee) ; Všetečka, Martin (advisor)
The goal of the bachelor’s thesis is a study of a bypass around city Brtnice. Brtnice is situated in Vysocina 13km southeast from city Jihlava. The reason for a study of bypass on route II/405 is to divert the transit away from city center. Road bypass is important part of modernisation route II/405 from city Jihlava to Třebíč. There were designed three variants of the bypass. Variant A is connected on the north and heading west the walley is overcome on south and connected back to existing route. Variants B and C are heading to the east both continue the direction of II/405 and are connected to existing route II/405 on south directly straight. Variant B correspond to regional plan. Variant C is distinct from variant B by connection of route II/403 and II/4034 on east from city.
Study of the new highway Moravský Krumlov - motorway D52
Novák, Martin ; Novák, Martin (referee) ; Všetečka, Martin (advisor)
The goal of the bachelor’s thesis is a study of the road Moravský Krumlov – motorway D52. Moravský Krumlov is situated in South-Moravian region. It is situated 28 km northeast from city Brno. The reason for a study is the faster connection of the region to the Brno agglomeration. There were designed three variants A, B and C. All variants are heading through the deer-park where animal protection measures are solved. Each of them include existing and newly designed routes.
Bypass - Zastávka u Brna
Čechová, Zuzana ; Smítal, Petr (referee) ; Holcner, Petr (advisor)
The aim of the bachelor’s thesis is a study of a traffic bypass around village Zastávka which is situated in South Moravia region approximately 20 km from city Brno to south-west. Main cause to create this solution is poor traffic situation. Village Zastavka is overloaded by traffic and this project would be beneficial by its effort to decrease amnout of traffic in the village center. There are two variants of a bypass. First one is connected to existing communications I/23 near to Rosice and goes to Tetcice, Babice u Rosic, Zbysov and Zakrany where its again connected to existing communications I/23. Second variant is way shorter and it is connected to oncoming bypass around Rosice and goes over Babicky les to existing communications I/23 where its connected close to Zakrany as well
Analysis of flagellar proteins in Clostridium difficile isolates of clinically relevant PCR-ribotypes
Houdková, Kateřina ; Konečná, Klára (advisor) ; Tichý, Aleš (referee)
Charles University Faculty of Pharmacy in Hradec Králové Department of Biochemical Sciences Candidate: Kateřina Houdková MPharm Supervisor: RNDr. Klára Konečná, Ph.D. Consultant: PharmDr. Jiří Dresler, Ph.D. Title of rigorous thesis: Analysis of flagellar proteins in C. difficile isolates of clinically relevant PCR-ribotypes Background: Strains of C. difficile of known human epidemiologic importance are associated with severe clinical features of C. difficile infection (CDI). In this study, a panel of eight different PCR-ribotypes (RTs) with their proteins released in vitro were subjected to analysis. The aim of this work is to monitor the relationship between secretions of individual proteins associated with flagellar formation and function in C. difficile strains of variable virulence. Methods: Within our research, a combination of tandem mass spectrometry with liquid chromatography was used. The semi-quantitative analysis employed label free quantification (LFQ) approach. Results: From the quantifiable proteins, 17 were significantly increased in functional annotations. Among them, several known factors connected with flagellar assembly and other functions were identified. Higher expression of selected flagellar proteins clearly distinguished RTs 027, 176, 005 and 012, confirming the pathogenic...
Antisemitic memes on 4chan.org
Feistinger, Aleš ; Vochocová, Lenka (advisor) ; Nečas, Vlastimil (referee)
In my thesis I address three questions: 1. What are the principles of memes? 2. What categories of anti-Semitic memes can we identify on 4chan.org? And 3. how do they relate to existing knowledge about anti-Semitic propaganda? To answer the first question, I review current theories ranging from active audiences, through Internet memes, to the interaction of memes and politics. Furthermore in the theoretical section, I describe the website 4chan.org (including its boards /b/ and /pol/) and the current form of anti-Semitism on the Internet. For the research of the second question, I have identified semiotic analysis, complemented by grounded theory, as the most appropriate methodology. I present its methodology and practical use, followed by presenting results including subcategories and illustrative examples. The thesis concludes by integrating the most important findings into current knowledge and anti-Semitism and thus answering the third research question. Finally, the main findings are summarized.

Prokaryotic tubulin homologs
Tomášová, Štěpánka ; Libusová, Lenka (advisor) ; Schwarzerová, Kateřina (referee)
Cytoskeletal proteins form very important structures in eukaryotic cells. It was demonstrated in last years that cytoskeletal proteins are also an important part of prokaryotic cells. One of the cytoskeletal families is the tubulin family. The tubulins are known to form dynamic microtubules which are important for cell division and other processes in eukaryotic cells. Proteins homologous to tubulin were discovered in Prokaryotes, based on their similarity to the tubulin GTP-binding region. This thesis describes the structure and function of known tubulin homologs from bacteria and archaea and compares them to their eukaryotic counterplayers.
The realizations of the phoneme /b/ in contemporary European Portuguese
Traugottová, Zuzana ; Hricsina, Jan (advisor) ; Svobodová, Petra (referee)
This thesis focuses on the possible realizations of the phoneme /b/ in contemporary European Portuguese. The theoretical section introduces the basis of the research and the existing knowledge in the field of phonology, particularly in terms of syllable structure and base syllabification. In the practical section, the design of the study and the data collection are closely described. The goal of this thesis is to test the existing knowledge in the field. To that end, the acoustic analysis is applied to the productions of five informants. In addition to confirming the tendency towards fricativization in various contexts, the results also show interesting data with regard to the possibility of devoicing before a voiceless segment or before a pause.

Effect of restriction factors on replication of hepatitis B virus
Kunteová, Kateřina ; Hirsch, Ivan (advisor) ; Sýkora, Michal (referee)
Specific aim of this bibliographic research is to elucidate the effects of cellular restriction factors on HBV replication. The work will specially analyze the role of the innate and natural immunity and to compare the effect of analogical or identical restriction factors on HBV and HIV-1 replication. Because of the central role of cccDNA for virus persistence in human organism, the work will study the effects of restriction factors on its possible destruction and eradication and a possible HBV cure. The research will also be focused on the effect of restriction factors during acute, chronic and occult infection. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)
