Bujnovský, David ; Zahálka, František (advisor) ; Votík, Jaromír (referee) ; Zháněl, Jiří (referee)
EFFECT OF THE BASIC MEZOCYKLE TO CHANGE THE GAME CONDITION WITH THE PROGRESSIVE LOAD FOR YOUTH FOOTBALL PLAYERS The aim of this work was to find out whether the use of specific fitness acquisition models (Verheijen, Owen) is more effective as the use of a non-specific model (control group) in elite youth U17 soccer players and whether a player can be equally conditioned in a 4-week period cycle (Owen) compared to a 6-week cycle (Verheijen) or a conventional (non-specific) mesocycle. Methods: The sample consisted of 3 groups of 16 players (n = 48; Age = 16,02±0,78; Height = 178,6±9,8; Weight = 69±10,6; ECM/BCM = 0,8±0,13; FFM = 61,4±9,8). 39 players have completed the whole research and were divided into groups EXP1, EXP2 and KON. The EXP1 group underwent a Verheijen (2000) training program, where large interval games (LSG) also appeared. The sond EXP2 group underwent an intervention program according to Owen et. al. (2012). The third group underwent a training mesocycle with a classic model that was a combination of general and non-specific fitness training. This model consisted mainly of runs (non-specific preparation) and large forms of games at the end of practice. This third group functioned as a control group. Laboratory testing always took place in the Human Movement Laboratory (LSM) of the...

Competitive success in the performance development of tennis players
Pecha, Jan ; Dovalil, Josef (advisor) ; Tilinger, Pavel (referee) ; Zháněl, Jiří (referee)
Title: Competitive success in the performance development of tennis players Abstract This study deals with the performance development analysis of players, in the conditions of the Czech Tennis Association enviroment (before 1993 of the Czechoslovak Tennis Association), and the aim is to find if the competitive success of Czech, or Czechoslovak players reached in the U12 and U14 age categories relates to their later top performance achievements at the international level. The prospective view analyses national rankings of best U12 and U14 players (during years 1989 - 2011) in relation to their future success at the professional level on the ATP and WTA Tour. The retrospective analysis focuses on players (born 1970 or younger) who reached a top 100 ATP or WTA ranking, and explores their performance development. The qualitative part of the research, based on structured open ended interviews with tennis experts, identifies, confirms and/or reviews the ways of achieving the top tennis performance. This part focuses on three topics of the long-term athletic development in tennis - characteristic features of training, demands on successful players and importance of sport competitions. The total number of 1791 players were involved into the prospective analysis research, and there was a success of 38,50 % of male...
Affecting the efficiency of stimulation a strenght endurance through exercies on unstable surface
Jebavý, Radim ; Perič, Tomáš (advisor) ; Zháněl, Jiří (referee) ; Turek, Milan (referee)
Affecting the efficiency of stimulation a strenght endurance through exercies on unstable surface In our work we sought to verify the affecting the efficiency of a Strength programme of exercise on unstable surfaces for stimulation of strength endurance abilities, compared to a similar didactic programme conducted on stable surfaces, thus creating an alternative choice for coaches, teachers, and sports instructors. A major element of the didactic process is the quality of the strength training programme on stable and unstable surfaces. When evaluating the overall results of the tests before and after the experimental programme, we come to be of the opinion that the experimental programme manifested itself positively in effectiveness of stimulating strength abilities. The strength programme had an influence on increasing the persistence of strength in dynamic and static regimens. In the case of a strengthening programme on unstable surfaces there was a tendency towards greater growth in the number of repetitions as opposed to programme on a stable base at the beginning of the programme in the case of exercise in a dynamic regimen. Keywords: effectiveness, strength endurance preparation, unstable surfaces, stabilisation system.
Return temporal anticipation on the basis of the ball trajectory estimation
Carboch, Jan ; Süss, Vladimír (advisor) ; Zháněl, Jiří (referee) ; Tomajko, Dušan (referee)
Return temporal anticipation on the basis of the ball trajectory estimation Abstract Ball-hitting in tennis involves spatio-temporal information about the ball's flight trajectory. We have focused on the temporal part of the information during returning a tennis serve that was simulated by a ball machine. The tested people had occlusion glasses placed on their head, which occluded their vision at the exact time, when the ball was being sent from the ball machine. The tested person did not know which part of the ball flight trajectory would be occluded, nor the ball speed. We examined the effect of part ball flight trajectory occlusion on the correct return timing of the ball. The analysis revealed that the greatest problems occurred while the second third of the ball flight trajectory had been occluded and reached most temporal errors at that time. Keywords: tennis, anticipation, ball flight trajectory, return stroke, occlusion glasses
Utilization of Multidimensional scaling and kinetic tests for evaluation and selection of soldiers to courses of close combat
Vágner, Michal ; Hendl, Jan (advisor) ; Zháněl, Jiří (referee) ; Komeštík, Blahoslav (referee)
TTiittllee:: Utilization of Multidimensional scaling and kinetic tests for evaluation and selection of soldiers to courses of close combat TThhee aaiimm ooff wwoorrkk:: The work deals with the structure scale for evaluation of close combat techniques and the selection of predictors, which will improve the quality of the identification of soldiers with conditions for the successful solution of model situations using the techniques of close combat. MMeetthhoodd:: In the beginning of the study is constructed a scale of criterion variable for evaluating techniques of close combat. The construction of scale was used the model of multidimensional scaling. The data was obtained from eight Czech Army experts of close combat. The scale was verified by generalized and weighted Kappa coefficient. By the kinetic tests was tested the group of 157 professional soldiers from different units. The soldiers were old between 20 and 32. Besides kinetic tests were in the study included the previous experiences with fight activities. To selection of the kinetic tests was used the model of linear regression. The evaluation of predictive power of kinetic tests was made by individual cohorts in prediction cycle. RReessuullttss:: In first part of the study was created scale of criterion variable which contain three...
About identification of motor predispositions in triathlon

Title: About identification of motor predispositions in triathlon Aims: The aim of our study was to find and verify appropriate indicators predicting the on-coming performance in a short triathlon and determine their level for the junior category. Methods: In our study, we combined quantitative and qualitative approaches with a predominance of quantitative methods. In the first phase of the research, we used quantitative methods, confirmatory factor analysis for verification of models of predispositions and elaboration of performance standards for individual tests by means of T-points. In the second part of the research, we used the qualitative method (casuistic studies) to validate the test battery and its application in practice. Results: We have compiled a structural model of motor predispositions for short triathlon, which explained 91% of all cross-correlations of seventeen used indicators. Predispositions for triathlon were categorized into five separate groups; for swimming, cycling and running (i.e. according to individual disciplines), and functional and psychological predispositions. Finding a lower limit boundary of performance in the completed tests is considered to be the most important issue for the assessment of future performance in triathlon. As a lower limit we have set the zone...
