the Ananlysis of Civil Association as Social Enterprises in Prague

This diploma thesis is analyzing civic associations that conduct a social enterprise in Prague. The aim of the paper is to discover, in which measure do the specific associations fulfill economical and social conditions according to the methodology EMES, which represents characteristics for an "optimal social enterprise". Firstly, the thesis examines the idea of the social economics and social entrepreneurship in the Czech Republic as well as in Europe. It focuses on the research network EMES of professor Jacques Defourny, and on the legal and economical activity of the civic associations. The methodological part of the paper analysis examples of the specific civic associations through the methodology EMES. For each association, economic and social conditions, based on methodic EMES, are examined through the document analysis method and semi-structured interviews. Determination of snow covering using remote sensing data

Monitoring of snow cover extent is an often disscused topic during last ten years, mainly because of the global change of the Earth climate. This work focuses on snow cover mapping using remote sensing data and methods. First the potencial data and methods for determination of snow cover extent are analysed. The problem of snow and cloud distinguishing is also disscused. Based on the example of using data from senzor MERIS and AATSR (Envisat) is illustrated how this data can be used for operational snow mapping purposes in the Czech republic. The decision-tree-algoritm for the detection of snow and clouds was developed. The acuracy of clasificated images is evaluated using comparison with in-situ grand measurament data. Pre-schoolers ideas of conception and birth

This bachelor thesis focuses on preschool children in the field of sexual education and conception and birth. The theoretical part focuses on sex educationand allthat sex educationiscloselyrelated, such as principles, goals, limits, family status and the status of kindergarten in sex education. It also focuses on pre-school, emotional development, socialization, identity development, sexual development and sexuality. It also deals with the topic of sexuality in today's children's literature. At the end of the theoretical part is mentioned RVP PV in context with sexual education. In the practical part, the thesis deals with qualitative research. The research is carried out using structured interviews with three children and their parents. The aim of this work is to introduce the preschool age children to conception and birth. Important role plays experience with the birth of a younger sibling.
Influence of father and brother on mate choice of heterosexual women in personality traits

Mate preferences and choices might be influenced by several factors, including close relatives. According to the imprinting-like effect, people prefer and choose partners similar to those with whom they grew up during childhood. The main aim of our research was to test, whether individuals choose their long-term partners on the basis of similarity (in personality traits) with their parent and/or siblings of the opposite sex (father and/or brother). The final sample of the study consisted of 211 heterosexual women (mean age = 27.34, SD = 5.36) who grew up with their father until at least 12 years of age. Respondents completed a set of questionnaires aimed at personality of their partner, brother, and father (NEO-FFI), the relationship quality with their father/brother during childhood (s-EMBU/QRI), and relationship satisfaction (RAS). Correlation and regression analyses have shown that heterosexual women choose partners similar to their fathers and brothers, especially in neuroticism. However, when compared correlation coefficients, it was found that fathers play a more important role. The retrospectively assessed quality of the relationship between the respondent and her father/brother during childhood did not have any effect on this similarity. The media coverage of Africa in broadcasting Česká televize

The thesis introduces the media image of Africa in the public of broadcasting Czech Television from 2009 to 2013. Africa is the continent with huge potential but in the minds of people it is connected with coup d'etat, wars, poverty and famine. Czech Television is the public media which should offer viewers the most balanced broadcasting due to its position in the media market. The theoretical part of this thesis presents the theory of media construction of reality, the principle of agenda-setting and news values and some of these the analytical part has confirmed. The thesis also approches to the African continent from political-economic and geographical perspectives. The analytical part of this thesis was based on quantitative and qualitative content analysis. The thesis researches the news, opinion journalism and documentary with notion of Africa, also focuses on differences between the media image of each geographical area of Africa and distinguishes between Czech and foreign production.
