Works of composer Otmar Mácha for Children

This work aims to explore the artistic development of the personality of the composer Otmar Mácha and his work in cultural and social contexts, to focus on his works intended for children and youth and to assess the possibilities of using his work in contemporary music education. It follows the beginnings of the composer's musical career and pays attention to the influences that shaped his personality and gave the unique character of his musical language. It examines the influence of regional musical culture, its roots, and artistic personalities that the composer met during his professional development and followed up on in his creative work. It analyzes the selected works from the point of view of their significance for aesthetic education and the development of children's musical imagination. In the composer's work, he looks for works that, through the emotional experience of a musical message, shape aesthetic feelings and values in the development of a child's personality. Competencies of a school social worker in the Czech Republic

The theoretical part of this work is based on current findings on social work and school social work. The aim is to discuss a possibility to establish school social work in Czech environment and also to highlight any possible obstacles. The first goal in practical part of this thesis aims to identify issues that schools are facing today and whether school social work could help to solve them. The second goal is to examine how members of pedagogical staff perceive the possibility of school social worker. The last goal is to identify the agenda of school social worker in Czech primary and secondary schools. The research was done in the form of semi structured in-depth interview and therefore provides profound insight and complex answers to questions related to school social work. Stigmatization of patients with mental illness

This bachelor's work looks into stigma as a mark of difference. It is specifically targeted on stigmatization of mentally ill people. The aim of this work is to find out which factors affect position of mentally ill people in Czech society and also to find out in what amount is the stigmatization present. Theoretical part of the work contains basic information about mental illnesses and stigmatization in connection with them. It discusses summary of history and describes creation of negative stereotypes, prejudices and discrimination in connection with stigmatization. Next issue of this work is sorting of stigmatization by several criterions. Practical part of the work is a way to get answers to research questions whose target is to find out, how certain individual with mental defect or illness perceive position of mentally ill people and their potential stigmatization. Analysis of six half-constructed interviews is inseparable part of this work and it provided crucial information to this study. In the last part we are given answers to the research questions. Stigmatization of people with mental illness is present in today's society, according to the respondents. However, they feel stigmatization is being eliminated recently.
