Comparison of Personal Income tax in the Czech Republic and the Slovakia

This bachelor thesis deals with the income taxation of natural person in the Czech republic and Slovakia. In the theoretical part, the methods of taxation of natural persons are gradually analyzed. In the practical part, these methods are compared to each other on specific examples. Based on the results of these examples, tax optimization is proposed. At the end of the thesis, one of the systems is chosen as better for income taxation of natural persons.

Possibilities of prevention reflecting geriatric principles: Functional status and depressivity in old age Hana Vaňková, MD Abstract Background: Given the population ageing in Europe and in the Czech Republic, strategies aiming to prevent functional decline in older age are of great importance. Depression in old age increases functional decline and is also associated with increased morbidity, mortality and deterioration of quality of life (Anstey et al., 2007; Karakaya et al., 2009). Therefore, there is a need for a comprehensive intervention addressing both functional status and depressive symptoms. Methods: Using comprehensive geriatric assessment, the relationship between functional status and depressive symptoms was examined in 308 residents of long-term care facilities (RCFs) in the Czech Republic. Depressive symptoms were measured using the 15-item Geriatric Depression Scale. An additional randomized control trial (RCT) evaluated the effect of a dance-based therapy on depressive symptoms in 162 institutionalized older adults with average age over 80 years. Results: A multiple regression analyses adjusted for sociodemographic factors and for taking antidepressants found that cognitive function and functional limitation by pain were most strongly associated with depressive symptoms. (in English): This bachelor's thesis discusses the generation which is pictured in Robert Bolaño's novel, The Savage Detectives. It deals with the historical, social and literary context of this generation, especially on the territory of Mexico in the 20th century. The thesis brings into this background information about infrarrealismo - its birth, publications and members, where it focuses in detail on Mario Santiago Papasquiaro and his works. Furthermore, it discusses Robert Bolaño's life, attitude towards literature and authorial style. In the practical part of this bachelor's thesis it is dealt with literary analysis of The Savage Detectives in the category of composition, characters, time, space and the narrator, in which it seeks the reflection of the Mexican society of that time.

Nursing Care for Woman in Childbed with Fetus Mortus Diagnosis

To accompany a woman at the birth of a new life and to support her at the delivery itself - that is what a profession of a midwife represents for most of the people. Unfortunately, there are also some unpleasant events that may occur in obstetrics. Endouterine death of fetus may often occur without previous warning symptoms of otherwise standard pregnancy. Due to the fact of sudden emergence and a possibility of health threat of the woman, fast solution is essential. I think, I managed to elaborate foetus mortus topic in a comprehensible way and to fulfill the aim of my thesis. Crucial points in attendance care of a woman in childbed with foetus mortus diagnosis were clarified, acquired findings were processed and possible practical measures were suggested.
