Expression of Communicative Intentions (Early Child Speech)

The thesis presents a pragmatic analysis focused on the repertoire of communicative intents in the speech of a child from the 23rd to the 29th month of its life. The work is based on a case study of one child. The theoretical part of the work in chapters 1-3 is based on the study of literature, especially the literature of communication intentions, pragmatic functions and their expression and relevant literature of language and communication of 2 years old children. Before the start of recording we have obtained informed consent from the parents of a child whose communication were analysed. Basic material for the analysis are the video recordings of family communication of the child in various situations, the material was supplemented by observations and interviews with parents. Video recordings are transcribed according to the principles of CHAT (corpus CHILDES) and then (in chapters 4 and 5) is analysed in terms of recorded communication situations and communicative intents expressed by a child. The results of our work we compare with the results in existing literature.

Title: Analysis of the basal stimulation concept utilisation in JIP and ARO nursing care Main Goal: The aim fo the thesis is to look closer at nurses awareness of the basal stimulation concept and to analyse its utilisation in JIP (Intensive Care Unit) and ARO (Department of Anesthesiology and Resuscitation) nursing care using a questionnaire survey. Method Used: In order to collect relevant data, this diploma thesis uses quantitative analysis techniques. The data was collected through a questionnaire survey.The respondents were the nurses working in the JIP and ARO departments of the Hradec Králové Teaching Hospital. The 87 completed questionnaires are divided into two groups according to the nurses' working experience in their departments. The first group includes the nurses with up to five-year working experience, the other one includes the nurses who have been working in their departments for more than six years. There were ten question items listed in the questionnaire altogether, with six closed-ended questions, two open-ended questions, one semi-open question and one polytomous question. Protection of a victim of a criminal offence Abstract This thesis adresses the protection of victims of crime, a serious and currently very topical issue. The initial part of the thesis is devoted to victimology as a scientific field, the subject of which is mainly the victim of crime. This chapter introduces basic victimological concepts that are important for a comprehensive understanding of the issue under study. The next chapter provides a brief overview and comparison of the definition of a victim across basic international documents, EU legislation, and the legal order of the Czech Republic. Furthermore, this section proceeds to analyse and evaluate the currently valid definitions of victim and particularly vulnerable victim as defined in the Victims Act, and offers a brief introduction of the Act. Subsequently, the third chapter describes and analyses the individual rights that victims are entitled to exclusively under the above-mentioned law, and, in the light of the findings from practice, presents a proposals for their improvement. The Victim Act has established a number of important rights that improve the legal position of victims, nonetheless their exercise is problematic in certain cases, in particular with regard to the victim's right to information. Tfhe Sponsoring of the Czech Biatlon in 2013-2018: Hamé case study

This bachelor thesis evaluates the Czech biathlon sponsorship between the year 2013 and 2018. During this period a relatively unknown sport became a nationwide phenomenon and attracted a large number of new sponsors. At present, sponsors include Viessmann, Hamé, Alpine Pro or Atex. This work also focuses on the current trend of increasing the effectiveness of sponsorship through active cooperation with a sponsored subject in the Czech biathlon environment. The theoretical part of this work addresses the definition of sponsorship and its functioning in the field of sport. The paper presents Czech Biathlon Union as a sponsored subject and describes its cooperation with sponsors. In the practical part, the attention is focused on Hamé, the main partner of the Czech biathlon since 2013. This partner uses biathlon most often for its promotional activities. Since the very beginning of the collaboration, the Czech biathlonists have been the main face of the Hamé brand and have appeared in several of its advertising campaigns. Child with disabilities in foster care

Abstract UHLÍŘOVÁ, Markéta. 'Child with Disabilities in Foster Care'. Prague : Faculty of Arts, Charles University in Prague, 2011. 140 pp. Graduation Thesis. In the opening chapters of the thesis entitled 'Child with Disabilities in Foster Care' are defined basic concepts relating to disability issues and there are also outlined options of care for a child with disabilities and their families. More text in detail deals with foster care, defines the essential functions of the family and describes various forms of foster care, which are applied to provide care for orphaned children socially in the Czech Republic. The main part of work deals with foster care, its history and particular types, given the current state of implementation of foster care in the Czech republic and discusses the process of mediation foster care with regard to the child with disabilities. The survey based on analysis of interviews with the famaliare experience, that has accumulated during their life foster-mothers, who take care to children with disabilities. The work is concluded by an evaluation of lessons learned and outlining ways on how to use them for those, who think about implement of the foster care and they would be willing to accept a child with disabilities.
