Measurement and Evaluation of Business Performance

The bachelor’s thesis deals with measurement and evaluation of the financial efficiency TEDOM a.s. company in 2010-2014. The company is engaged in production of cogeneration units. This thesis is consists of three parts. The first part explains the theoretical information processing methods of financial analysis. The second part is devoted to the analytical part, which is described in more detail enterprise and financial analysis of the current state of society. At the end of this section is a summary of all the results carried out on the basis of which the third part of the proposed appropriate measures to improve the financial performance of the company.

Fast fashion as a current topic of Civics

The thesis deals with selected global problems and their inclusion in civic education with a focus on the topic of fast fashion. The theoretical part presents the phenomenon of fast fashion and its negative impacts on the environment and human health, approaches issues in the world of work and violations of human rights and freedoms. These global issues are considered in the context of educational areas, cross-cutting themes and also as part of the global education. The second part of the work is a concept of a didactic project of lessons with the theme of fast fashion inspired by the educational program of the ARPOK organization. The aim of the work is to increase awareness of the issues arising from fast fashion and the realization that the individual can influence the world by their actions and vice versa, how the current world affects the life of the individual. THE CROSS OF QUEEN DAGMAR

At the end of the 17th century, a small enameled cross was discovered in one of the royal graves in Saint Bendt's church in Danish Ringsted. According to the record of the administrator of the Danish Royal Treasury, the cross was found in the grave of the Danish Queen Dagmar - the daughter of the King of Bohemia, Ottokar I (+1230). Dagmar was married in 1205 to Valdemar II the Victorious, the King of Denmark. The cross - today exhibited at the National Museum in Copenhagen - is undoubtedly a Byzantine work. Most probably, it was made in the first half of the 12th century. It is so- called enkolpion, i.e. the hanging cross (gr. Έγϰόλπιου, on the chest). Both its sides are decorated with figurative scenes. The crucifixion of the Christ is depicted on one side. The Great Deēsis with St. Basil the Great and St. John Chrysostom is shown on the other side. There is a hollow in the body of the cross, in which a relic was deposited - most likely a particle of the wood of the True Cross. Although the Queen Dagmar's Cross is considered a national treasure in Denmark, only a little attention has been paid to it so far.
