P. P. František Xaver Mimra (1886-1952) - country priest and martyr

The diploma thesis deals with the life story of priest František Xaver Mimra who spend almost the entire period of his priestly service in the parish of Raná. It briefly describes his family, studies and his path to priesthood. At first, he worked as a chaplain in the Raná parish for two years. Later, in 1915, at his own request he left for the parish of Dolní Újezd where he spent six years. In 1921, he returned to the Raná parish as a parish priest. For thirty years he lived in the parish taking care of the church, the rectory and, above all, inspiring encouraging the spiritual life of his parishioners. His work in the Raná parish was interrupted in 1949 by his arrest and the subsequent fabricated trial in which he was sentenced to three years in prison. In 1952, he was released, but because of his poor health, due to his imprisonment, he died a few months later. P. Economic Characteristics of Business Organisations with Utilization of SCM

This dissertation work is focused on issues related to a purchasing process in business subjects. It examines issues related to an evaluation of suppliers for a particular order. It also deals with issues within supplier-purchaser relationship, its creation and management through the SCM - Supply Chain Management. The topic of this thesis is very progressive as the selection and the evaluation of the suppliers is a very important factor in the terms of purchase and purchase expenses. A good management of the supplier-purchaser relationship can save expenses to business subjects. The elaboration of this dissertation thesis used not just theoretical findings acquired from the Czech and international literature, but also findings from surveys. The primary survey was carried out through the quantitative research, in particular research questionnaires. The findings from the primary survey were evaluated through the application Microsoft Excel and UNISTAT ® Statistical Package Version 5.6.06 Light. The acquired results were used to define the most important factors, which affect an evaluation of suppliers as well as an evaluation of the SCM in companies and data about purchases in companies. In addition the findings from the research questionnaires helped to evaluate the appointed hypothesis of the dissertation thesis. A partial outcome of the dissertation thesis is the proposal of the methodology of the evaluation of new and current suppliers including the weighting of individual evaluation parameters. For a common suppliers’ evaluation, an evaluation frequency is set by the importance of supplied material. Additionally, it methodologically describes how to evaluate supplier in time for day-to-day supply and for one-off supply. An additional partial outcome is the proposal of the methodology for an evaluation of a level of the SCM. The conclusion of the dissertation thesis is dedicated to the summary of findings, discussion of preconditions for implementation of the proposed methodology to real situations and possibilities of an additional scientist work in appropriately related subjects.

This dissertation thesis identifies critical factors of implementation and operation service of Human Resource Information Systems with all its specifics. In detail, the lifecycle of the system is described, system elements and types of organizations that might use it. The thesis aimes at four hypotheses that try to confirm or reject the importance of usage of Human Resource Information Systems in companies of various sizes on Czech and Slovak market. The thesis also describes detailed feedback of company representatives in areas of benefits and usage of these systems and presents a list of critical factors that were discovered and confirmed during the preparation of the thesis and related research.

This master thesis deals with the implementation of enterprise information system of ERP category in the company METAL STEEL INDUSTRY, spol. s.r.o. In the first part of the thesis is described the basic theoretical knowledge and information for a specific issue. The aim of this work is the detection and identification of critical factors and potential risks associated with the selection, implementation and subsequent operation of the enterprise information system. The output of this work is a time and economic evaluation of the project, creating proposals to reduce risks and create recommendations for the company.

This bachelor thesis is concentrated on general description of Corporate Performance management (CPM). It explains important theoretical terms, describes concept and possibilities of use these tools and it is focused on explanation why are them helpful and how to use them. In next part is analysis of present CPM solutions. A research of the seven most important solutions on Czech market has been written, and there is a part about their differences, advantages and disadvantages. In the end is written about practical use of this concept in two large organizations. First is middle sized factory and second is international corporation which works in ICT.

The first part of the thesis describes the theoretical starting point of the work, which is necessary to understand the problems in this thesis. The second part describes the current state of the company. In addition, the analysis needed to design a solution was carried out. This is at the end of the work and there are elaborated recommendations and a proposal for a solution for the planning of delivery lines for saving time and minimizing company costs.
