Trust in media: an analysis of the determinants of perceived media credibility

This diploma thesis "Důvěra v média: analýza determinantů vnímané důvěryhodnosti médií" deals with the issue of trust in the media among the population aged 20-30. This age group is defined based on developmental psychology as young or early adulthood. The diploma thesis asks how members of the selected target group trust the given media and what this perceived trustworthiness is conditioned by. The diploma thesis is divided into a theoretical and an analytical part. In its introduction, the theoretical part deals with the central topic of this diploma thesis, which is trust in the media. There is also focus on a interdisciplinary links (trust studies), approaches to research on trust in the media, characteristics and results of trust research in the Czech Republic. It also deals with the definition of the concept of trust, its functions in society and its concept in various fields such as sociology, political science, psychology and anthropology. At the end, the theoretical part offers the necessary anchoring of the topic from the point of view of media theory by means of the definition of the function and effects of the media on society and the dual broadcasting system. The Possibilities of Using Musical Activities for Children with Impaired Communication Ability in Kindergarten- in Speech Therapy Class

The bachelor thesis is concerned with communication disorders in preschool aged children and progress their perceptual and motor skills by musical activities. The main aim of the thesis is to create a collection of activities to support the children's skills. The partial aim is to try using the collection in practise during standard kindergarten's operation Theoretical part of the bachelor thesis deals with speech development, speech disorders, especially dyslalia and delayed speech development. The thesis is also aimed on specifics of preschool age, legislature of preschool education and education of children with special needs. The final chapter writes about musical field and principles of conducting musical activities in kindergarten. To achieve the set target, a qualitative research strategy was chosen. During three weeks of direct observation of preschool group, case studies of the children were created based on the results. The results were used for creating of collection of activities. The created collection was directly applied in practice. The work was evaluated by means of analysis of video recordings, while at the same time were accented its disadvantages and advantages. The collection of activities contains methodical structure, so it can be used in practice of teachers in kindergarten. The material could be appreciated by parents as well and used during practising their children's skills.
Analysis of foundations of the transition to centrally planned economy in post-war Czechoslovakia (1945-1953)

This bachelor thesis is focused on an analysis of the foundations which enabled and simplified the transition to centrally planned economy in post-war Czechoslovakia. The theoretical part concentrates mainly on the period of the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia which is assessed in this thesis to enable a better understanding of all the issues and consequences involved. The main areas analyzed and evaluated in this thesis are political, economical and social factors that predetermined further development. The analysis of factors mentioned above is used to explain and clarify the circumstances of the takeover in February 1948, the origin and principle could already be recognized much earlier. This bachelor thesis also offers a consideration of the so-called closing period of socialist transformation and culmination of the initial wave of power consolidation. The post-war enthusiasm and ideas were changed into ideology that lasted for several decades. The author of this bachelor thesis concludes that the February takeover was not completed in a short period of time but represented the logical outcome of pre-war, war and post-war policies.
