Influence of second and third generation sequencers on cgMLST analysis of closely-related bacterial strains.
Slavíček, David ; Sedlář, Karel (referee) ; Nykrýnová, Markéta (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is about influence of sequncers of second and third generationon cgMLST analysis of bacterial genome. In the theoretical section were described selected sequencers of second and third generation and genome assembly principles. In the practical part were assembled six genomes of Klebsiella pneumoniae bacteria from University Hospital Brno. The genomes were sequenced each on two different sequencers, Illumina Miseq and Oxford Nanopore Technologies Minion. The genomes were assembled. Suitable genes were selected and insufficient quality genomes removed for the cgMLST analysis. The cgMLST analysis was performed and the results are shownin graphs.
Image registration using optimization with automatic differentiation
Slavíček, David ; Kolář, Radim (referee) ; Vičar, Tomáš (advisor)
This thesis deals with image registration using optimization with automatic differentiation. In the teoretical part were decribed steps of image registration and possibilities of their realization. The practical part consists of design of algorithm for registration of afinely transformed images and implementation of it. Two modifications of the algorith were proposed. Database of xray images was designed. The algorithm was tested on this database.

Marketing of tobacco products in Czech Republic and its future after legal changes covered in Tobacco Product Directive in 2016
Slavíček, David ; Stříteský, Václav (advisor) ; Vávra, Oldřich (referee)
Masters thesis will provide insight into specifics of marketing of tobacco products which is heavily influenced by tobacco advertising regulation. The newest adopted regulation on the European Union level is Tobacco Product Directive 2014/40/EU which comes into force July 2016. The directive will substantiously influence current marketing of tobacco products. Masters thesis will also introduce legal changes covered by the directive, research its possible impacts on the tobacco market and propose new solutions for relevant parts of tobacco marketing mix.
