Family house, Chrudim

The bachelor thesis is focused on the design and working out of a project documentation of a family house. The projected house is situated on the periphery of the town Chrudim. It’s designed for four-to five-member family. It’s a detached house without a basement and with two floors. The terrace and the garage for one car are the parts of the house. The building has a flat roof. All vertical constructions are designed as masonry of the lightweight concrete shaped bricks Liapor. The ceilings are designed of the filigree panels Liapor made of lightweight concrete. The facade of the house will be made in the combination of combed stucco and wooden ventilated facade.

Ghost-free HDR video using FPGA

Tato práce navrhuje algoritmus pro pořizování ghost-free HDR videa ze sekvence expozic, který je určený pro implementaci ve vestavěných zařízeních. Vlastnosti algoritmu byly ověřeny implementací ve state-of-the-art architektuře HDR kamery, kde je schopen zpracovávat HDR video s potlačením tzv. ghosting efektu rychlostí až 96 snímků za sekundu na FullHD rozlišení, což více než dostačuje pro zpracování v reálném čase. Navrhovaný ghost-free algoritmus produkuje výstup vizuálně srovnatelný s nejmodernějšími algoritmy, které jsou výpočetně řádově složitější a často je nelze na embedded zařízeních ani implementovat.

Evolutionary Approach to Synthesis and Optimization of Ordinary and Polymorphic Circuits

Tato disertační práce se zabývá evolučním návrhem a optimalizací jak běžných, tak polymorfních digitálních obvodů. V práci jsou uvedena a vyhodnocena nová rozšíření kartézského genetického programování (Cartesian Genetic Programming, CGP), která umožňují zkrácení výpočetního času a získávání kompaktnějších obvodů. Další část práce se zaměřuje na nové metody syntézy polymorfních obvodů. Uvedené metody založené na polymorfních binárních rozhodovacích diagramech a polymorfním multiplexovaní rozšiřují běžné reprezentace digitálních obvodů, a to s ohledem na začlenění polymorfních hradel. Z důvodu snížení počtu hradel v obvodech syntetizovaných uvedenými metodami je provedena evoluční optimalizace založená na CGP. Implementované polymorfní obvody, které jsou optimalizovány s využitím CGP, reprezentují nejlepší známá řešení, jestliže je jako cílové kritérium brán počet hradel obvodu.

Apartment house, Na Větrníku

The final thesis is focused on a design of an apartment house and processing of the design documentation. Designed building is situated on the periphery of the town Chrudim in the locality of the housing estate Na Větrníku. It’s a detached house with five floors and a basement. Building has a rectangular plan with dimensions 30,92 × 17,17 m. The foundation of the building is designed as a combination of piles and strips. The vertical constructions will be made of the clay blocks. The floor structures are designed as cast-in-place reinforced concrete floors. The apartment house has a saddle roof with a slope 15°. There are 25 apartments in the building and the mass garages for 15 cars, which are situated in the basement. The garages will serve to the residents of the house.

Effect of Hyaluronic Acid on Dental PulpStem Cells

Hyaluronic acid (HA) and dental pulp stem cells (DPSCs) are attractive research topics and their combined use in tissue engineering is a promising direction in regenerative medicine. DPSCs are a mesenchymal population of stem cells that are obtained from the soft tissues within the dental pulp cavity. Their advantages are easy availability, high proliferative activity, and wide differentiation potential. HA is a natural extracellular biopolymer occurring across human body tissues, including dental pulp. Due to its biocompatibility and biodegradability, HA is a suitable scaffold materal. Degradation of high molecular weight (HMW) HA chains, which are enzymatically cleaved in tissues, results in low molecular weight (LMW) HA fragments. Compared to the HMW HA, LMW HA exhibits markedly different bioactive properties. Thus, it is necessary to assess the effect of HA on tissues and cells separately for its distinct fractions. The results of two in vitro experiments are presented in this work. The first of them was focused on the influence of a wide spectrum of HA (116 kDa, 540 kDa, 1500 kDa) on two DPSC lines.
