In my thesis I have mapped the available sources documenting the first attempts at grape growing and the discovery of the intoxicating effects of wine. I have summarized the records of various ways of wine production, its preservation and the habits related to its consumption. I have dedicated special attention to the presence of the grapevine as well as to wine consumption in our territory. In the individual chapters I have considered wine as a religious symbol and dealt with the impact of wine consumption on health. Special attention was paid to wine as a source of inspiration for artists with an accent on visual arts and cinematography. The thesis is concluded by a chapter dedicated to wine as a social life forming factor.

Internet as a support for teachers

This thesis deals with ways of using the Internet by teachers. Its aim is to chart this issue from academic as well as empirical point of view. It presents data concerning the use of the Internet in both - society and schools. This work also describes the teachers'use of the Internet and the possibilities of computer integration into lessons. Some examples of concrete computer programmes and websites that can help teachers in their job are included in the theoretical part of my work. Results of my research are presented in the empirical part. The aim of the research was to find out how teachers use information and communication technologies in reality.

The analysis of the CzechInvest agency's activities during last years with focus on the Operational Programme Enterprise and Innovation

This thesis aims to describe the activities of CzechInvest, the Investment and Business Development Agency, during the last six years with focus on the ongoing Operational Programme Enterprise and Innovation. CzechInvest has participated in administration of this operational programme for the last six years. This thesis is dedicated to the enterprise and enterprise promotion in the Czech republic. It describes the programme support from Structural funds (EU) and concentrates on the Operational Programme Enterprise and Innovation. The analysis is aimed at the programme, sectoral and regional structure of the projects mediated by CzechInvest. It evaluates the size of the support and the programme structure of the support from the Operational programme, that was provided for the small and medium-sized enterprises.

Analysis of the investment incentives-impact on evolution of a foreign investment

The first part describes investment incentives in Czech republic. It consirers a legal form of incentives, activity of CzechInvest agency, public support. It describes forms of incentives, conditions and procedure by confitmation incentives of manufacturing industry and specifies support for technological centres and for centers of strategical services. The second part clarifies the definition of a foreign direct investment, it specifies forms of investment and impacts of foreign investment on an economy n general. The last part focuses on description of factors, that influences the localization of the investment including the part of the incentives. It confronts investments supported by incentives with total foreign direct investment in manufacturing industry. It shows the impact of investments supported by incentives on employment and public incomes in Czech rupublic.

Práce pojednává o optimalizaci procesů ve firmě. Nejprve z teoretického pohledu o procesním přístupu a vazbách na normy ISO řady 9000, orientaci na procesy, jejich koncepci, o procesním managementu, jeho přínosech a stupních vývoje procesů. V praktické části se zabývá popisem a zmapováním všech procesů ve firmě a podrobnou analýzou a optimalizací procesu tvorby a realizace zakázky.
