Analysis of helpdesk system requirements in company dealing with development of information systems and outsourcing of payroll and human resources
PEROUTKA, David
The topic of this diploma thesis is focused on the analysis of the company's requirements for the selection of a system to support communication with customers - helpdesk. The beginning of the work is devoted to theoretical basics of helpdesk systems such as trouble ticket life cycle or knowledge base system. Furthermore, the use of the helpdesk system is described from the point of view of usage and then from the point of view of the roles that occur when using this system. At the end of the theoretical part are described ECS systems, which the helpdesk system is part of. The practical part describes the company for which this work is processed and its functional requirements for the selected system and systems directly related to it. In addition, 4 available solutions are selected, which include their pros and cons and then are evaluated based on seven criteria. The best solution is recommended to the company for selection. In the end of the work, the course of implementation of the solution chosen by the company is outlined.
The structure of human being and the possibility of mystical experience. A Thomistic view.

David Peroutka The structure of human being and the possibility of mystical experience. A Thomistic view In the present investigation I try to explicate the Thomistic concept of soul as a principle of psychosomatic unity of man. Among powers or "potencies" of the soul we find "inner senses" which are to be well differentiated from the intellect. Such a distinction allows us to proof the spirituality of human soul and also to explain the possibility and the nature of spiritual and mystical experience. A paradigmatic testimony of such an experience we find in the writings of S. Teresa of Avila. In order to interpret her spiritual texts we need also well understand the distinction between the sensory appetitive powers, i.e. emotive powers, and the spiritual appetitive power, which is the will. Teresa does not lead us from the sphere of intellect to that of emotionality, as commonly seen, rather in the opposite sense: the center of gravity of spiritual life moves from the sphere of imagination and emotionality to that of the intellect and the will. In the contemplative prayer the will is fixed in the mystery of God through mediation of divinely illuminated intellect. And it is the will that engages, finally, also the sensory part of the soul.
The structure of human being and the possibility of mystical experience A Thomistic view

The Structure of human being and the possibility of mystical experience. A thomistic view The psychological structure of human being can be seen as a potential for the mystical experience. In this psychological sense we expound the mystical testimony of Saint Teresa of Ávila (1515-1582) using the thomistic anthropological theory (whose terminology - to say the least - was used also by Teresa herself). Teresa says that it is the faculty of will which is occupied with loving in the mystical contemplation. Since the will is today usually understood rather as a capacity to make (and maintain) decisions, we have to interpret somehow the Teresian peculiar sentence. Thomistic theory permits us to conceive the will as the spiritual capacity to love. Moreover, Thomas Aquinas left us an account of the impact of will on the emotionality. The mystical experience does not remain only in purely spiritual sphere of the soul, it "overflows" in the sensual (emotional), even in the bodily area. Finally, the tomistic distinctions between imagination and intellection, between reasoning and intellection and between active and passive intellect allow us to explain how the intellect can be conceived as a capacity for the mystical knowledge.

Aristotelian doctrine of potencies in the light of recent theory of dispositional predicates
Peroutka, David ; Sousedík, Stanislav (advisor) ; Novák, Lukáš (referee) ; Palkoska, Jan (referee)
The subject of the presented work are potencies or powers, which are called - in contemporary terminology - also dispositions. Ascription of a disposition to some effect can be substituted by a dispositional conditional sentence of the following type: "If x is (were) suitably tested, x manifests (should manifest) ." As the non-modal way to deal with dispositions does not seem feasible, we employ the modality of necessity to formalize the (subjunctive) dispositional conditional. But the needed necessity cannot be explained merely by means of formal logic. Therefore we accede to the ontological considerations concerning powers. Since we use categorical properties (qualities) to explain behaviour of things, dispositions non-identical with their categorical basis would be superfluous. Hence powers (dispositions) are only conceptually distinct from their qualitative basis. We know categorical properties, but we know them only thanks to their causal potentialities or powers. So power belongs to the essence of corresponding quality, it belongs to it as its relation to some (possible) effect. If the powers belong to the essence of qualities, a qualified thing, qua qualified, necessarily has the corresponding power. As the power ascription can be substituted with a conditional sentence, we may formulate the...
Data mining in economic research
PEROUTKA, David
This bachelor thesis is specialized in sorting enormous amount of data using several methods. Data mining is a process consisting in collecting knowledge from databases or data warehouses. Data can come from service's providers or it can be local database from certain company or national data which are focused on economic research. Data used in this bachelor thesis comes from freely available website Eurostat. Theoretic part is dedicated to data itself, their format and methods and RapidMiner, which is the tool for sorting data. Practical part is focused on real methods which are built this software. In the end results are interpreted. Every single method shows different results and this results can be used for management or future economic decision.
