Coalescence
Lubovská, Karolína ; Příhoda, Jiří (referee) ; Ambrůz, Jan (advisor)
The theme for my bachelor's thesis is the landscape surrounding a south Moravian village called Bavory. To put this environment into context, I was looking into its historical and geographical background. All of my efforts were focused on one section of my family's property. The property consists of vineyards and a dried-up spring. In one part of my work, I observe the everyday activity around this spring, and in the second part of my work, I focused on making an installation out of dead grapevines.
Heritage process of art and craft techniques of goldsmithing
Bárta, Patrick ; Fexa, Pavel ; Foret, Lukáš ; Jelínek, Jaroslav ; Kroužil, Martin ; Mrázek, Martin ; Rapouch, Karel ; Řezáčová, Eva ; Vaníček, Petr ; Příhoda, Jiří ; Selucká, Alena ; Stöhrová, Pavla ; Šumbera, Andrej
The goal of the heritage process is to provide a comprehensible guide for identifying the most widespread art and craft techniques for the processing of precious metals, their correct description and the setting of appropriate approaches to their preventive and remedial conservation. In the first section, the art and craft techniques of goldsmithing are described in detail, based on the material characteristics of selected metals and their alloys, a description of the techniques themselves in connection with the historical context of their use, including risk factors of damage to artefacts made by these techniques. The terminology used is also supplemented, which is subsequently elaborated in the form of alphabetically ordered keyword lists in the appendices of the heritage process. The second section consists of a set of case studies containing reconstructions of the procedures of selected craft techniques, including examples of surveys of original artefacts verified in museum practice.

Preparation of 64Cu and its prospective carriers for nuclear medicine.
Kozempel, Ján ; Lešetický, Ladislav (advisor) ; Kotek, Jan (referee) ; John, Jan (referee) ; Příhoda, Jiří (referee)
5 Summary The preparation of 64Cu including it's radiochemical separation and the preparation of its novel radiolabelled tracers intended for the use in nuclear medicine is described in this work. A novel method for the preparation of no carrier added 64Cu, based on the 64Zn(d,2p)64Cu reaction and consecutive dual ion exchange chromatography was developed. The radiochemical product was of high specific activity and with only 61Cu radionuiclidic impurity, which allows it's use for in vitro laboratory experiments or in vivo preclinical tests of labelled tracers. We have focused on the preparation of several 64Cu labelled tracers. Two different types - water soluble polymer carriers and hypoxia selective biacetyl bis- (N4-alkylthiosemicarbazone) complexes of 64Cu were prepared. The water soluble polymer carriers based on the copolymers of NIPAM, GM and HPMA bearing various chelating groups were prepared. The polymeric chain was modified by copolymerization of a monomer with chelating functional group or modified after polymerization. Two standard polyacidic chelators (DOTA, DTPA) as well as three non-common copper chelators (dipicolylamine, thiosemicarbazide, Ag ionophore II) were used. Their potential use in nuclear medicine for local radio- or combined ...

Macrocyclic chelators for metal-radionuclides
Málková, Michaela ; Hermann, Petr (advisor) ; Příhoda, Jiří (referee) ; Komárek, Pavel (referee)
5 Abstract in English Complexation properties of structurally related macrocyclic polyazachelators with different metal ions suitable for a medicinal use were studied. In the present work, a study of chelators formally derived from H4dota (1,4,7,10-tetraazacyclododecane-1,4,7,10- tetraacetic acid) by replacement of one or four carboxylic groups with a phosphorus acid moiety(ies) was performed. Three new chelators were studied: H4do3apABn (10-{[(4-aminobenzyl)hydroxyphosphoryl]methyl}- 1,4,7,10-tetraazacyclododecane-1,4,7-triacetic acid), H5do3apPrA (10-{[(2-carboxyethyl)hydroxyphosphoryl]methyl}- 1,4,7,10-tetraazacyclododecane-1,4,7-triacetic acid), H4dotpOEt [1,4,7,10-tetraazacyclododecane-1,4,7,10- tetrakis(methylphosphonic acid monoethylester)] In addition new data on stability constants of transition metal complexes of H5do3ap, 10-[(dihydroxyphosphoryl)methyl]- 1,4,7,10-tetraazacyclododecane-1,4,7-triacetic acid, are presented. The achieved results suggest that all studied chelators form complexes with di- and trivalent metal ions with sufficient thermodynamic stability and kinetic inertness for the potential medicinal applications. The formation rate of complexes of the monophosphonic/inic chelators is comparable to that of the H4dota complexes. The formation rate of the complexes depends highly on...

Certified methodology for textile deposition
KUŽELOVÁ, Zdenka ; ŠEVČÍK, Richard ; PŘÍHODA, Jiří ; NASADIL, Petr
The methodology was created for the neeeds of museum workers handling and depositing textile artefacts. The methodology is focused on depositories where textile artefacts are stored. The content is focused on traditional folk clothing from Moravia originating from the period of 1850-1950 and the methodology is specific in this way. It is necessary to emphasize that the folk textile (clothing) was stored in its own way which has to be kept and which some attention should be paid to.
