Estimating soil effective grain size by EIS apparatus
Chládová, Zuzana ; Novotná, Jitka (referee) ; Pařílková, Jana (advisor)
The bachelor thesis is focused on the use of electrical impedance spectrometry and its possible application in the estimation of effective particle size of soil. The grain size curve of each soil sample was obtained by using the sieve analysis and aerometric method after which the effective particle size for each sample was determined. Thereafter the frequency analyzes of samples were performed under laboratory conditions using Z-meter. The results showed that it is possible to infer effective particle size when the frequency analysis is performed for example during field measurement. This research was carried out as part of the project E!7614 of the EUREKA program.
Evaluations of the durability EIS probes installed in an earth dams
Koudelková, Eva ; Novotná, Jitka (referee) ; Pařílková, Jana (advisor)
This thesis deals with the assesment of the durability of electrical impedance spectrometry method (EIS) probes installed in earth dam. The chosen earth dam is called Bezedník III and the main reason for choosing this particular dam was the longest period of monitoring this dam. The measuring was carried out by the Z-meter II device during the years 2006–2012 and Z-meter IV device in the year 2016. The recorded data are processed and assessed in this bachelor’s thesis.
Monitoring of the temperature stratification of water using EIS method
Műnsterová, Zuzana ; Novotná, Jitka (referee) ; Pařílková, Jana (advisor)
Bachelor thesis examines the possibility of using the measuring apparatus based on the application of the method of electrical impedance spectrometry (EIS) for monitoring the temperature stratification of the water. For measurement are used the devices Z-meter III and Z-meter IV, which were designed in project E!4981 and E!7614 international applied research in program EUREKA. Part of the thesis is also a proposal of the probe. The experiment is carried out in a laboratory conditions, Laboratory of Water Management Research, Faculty of Civil Engineering, Brno University of Technology.
Evaluation of the sanation of the earth-fill dam of the Hornice
Králíková, Štěpánka ; Novotná, Jitka (referee) ; Pařílková, Jana (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with evaluation of monitoring and remediation measures implemented on the earth dam of Hornice water structure. In 2014, tracking was initiated using the EIS method. Monitoring is carried out in the EUREKA Applied Research Program and is linked to Project E! 7614. The research is also focused on a new method of seepage remediation, BioSealing. To the application of which in Czech Republic has the exclusive right the company GEOtest, a.s. The processed data used in this work is measured by Z-meter IV and others data are provided by GEOtest, a.s.
The effectiveness of sealing VD Karolinka using the aperture analyzed by EIS method
Fránková, Hana ; Novotná, Jitka (referee) ; Pařílková, Jana (advisor)
Bachelor thesis is dealing with recognition of effectiveness of the sealing wall of earth dam Karolinka by electrical impedance spectrometry method. Sealing wall was installed to the body of the dam in 2013 during a complex reconstruction. Data of monitoring during 2012, i.e. before the reconstruction, are compared with the data measured in 2015, i.e. after the reconstruction. Data of past month from 2015 are added.
Influence different material layer to the sensitivity measurements of the EIS probe
Slezák, Jakub ; Novotná, Jitka (referee) ; Pařílková, Jana (advisor)
The bachelor’s thesis deals with question, what influence will have different layer and different types of material to sensitivity measurements using the probe of electrical impedance spectrometry. This experiment is realized in laboratories of DWS. The thesis follows the solution of projects E!3838, E!4981 and E!7614 in international EUREKA program.
Difference between electronic signature standards before and after the introduction of eIDAS.
Černý, David ; Novotná, Jitka (advisor) ; Dvořák, Jan (referee)
The work compares the differences in the use of the Czech electronic signature before and after the implementation of the regulation of the European Parliament and Council, which introduced the European standard for electronic communication eIDAS (electronic IDentification, Authentication and trust Services). Based on the research from available sources, the theoretical part of the work describes the legislative regulation of both systems, their ways of functioning and examples of use. The practical part contains a qualitative study in the field of electronic signatures and a description of the implementation of the eIDAS regulation in the Czech Republic, including case studies.
Implementation of communication platforms for on-line distance learning at the second level of primary school
Šnaiberková, Natálie ; Lipková, Helena (advisor) ; Novotná, Jitka (referee)
The aim of the bachelor's thesis is to examine the transition to online distance learning in the second grades of Czech primary schools, which took place in the spring of 2020, and to analyse what experiences the schools have gained or how their preparation for the re-closure was going. In the theoretical part, I integrate the topic into the context of distance learning and e-learning and the possibility of using change management methods when transitioning to a distance model of education. The practical part is based on the analysis of interviews and their subsequent evaluation according to the ADKAR model. Keywords: distance education, e-learning, elementary school, teachers, change management, online communication tools, coronavirus/covid
The regional functions of libraries from the point of view of a Integrated Library System: a case study of the Municipal Library in Prague
Hrabáková, Hana ; Novotná, Jitka (advisor) ; Římanová, Radka (referee)
(in English): This thesis is focused on Integrated Library Systems (ILS), specifically providing ILS helpdesk services through regional functions of libraries. In theoretical section are at first described the regional functions and several ILSs used in the Czech Republic. The next, system of public libraries in chosen EU countries is described, and their strategy and process of providing helpdesk services for ILS. The practical section consists of the case study of the regional ILS implementation process at the Municipal Library in Prague. The main goal of the thesis is to describe in detail the implementation of regional ILS in practice, which can be used as a tutorial to implement regional ILS at other libraries. Klíčová slova (anglicky): Librarianship, libraries, regional functions of libraries, integrated library systems, implementation of regional system of libraries
