Patterns of use of psilocybe mushrooms among students of art universities and its influence on artistic creation

Background: Psychedelics are substances that affect the nervous system and have the ability to influence thinking, perception and feelings of the user. In the Czech Republic, psilocybe mushrooms are the second most used psychedelic. 5.7% of the population over the age of 15 used them at least once in their lifetime, and over 70,000 people in the last 12 months. Research shows that this hallucinogen has potential uses in medicine and psychotherapy, especially in the treatment of depression, anxiety or PTSD. In the past, psychedelics were associated with the phenomenon of psychedelic art, in which artists were inspired in their works by psychedelic experiences they achieved under the influence of hallucinogenic substances, which entails significant risks. Patterns of magic mushroom use among artistic college students have not yet been adequately described. Objectives: The aim of the work is to find out the patterns of use of psychedelic mushrooms among university students with an artistic focus, to find out what effect the use has on their artistic creation and what is the motivation for using it. The influence of soft power in the Russian-Ukrainian conflict and its reflection in the media: Case study of Russia Today and Parlamentní listy

The work will focus on the influence of soft power, which will be operationalized mainly as Russian propaganda activities during the Russian-Ukrainian conflict at the time when Russia annexed the Crimean Peninsula. Its empirical core will be a comparison of the news coverage of the beginnings of the Russian-Ukrainian crisis by the international media network paid by the Russian government Russia Today and the Czech tabloid parliamentary website Parlamentní listy, which is often included in public debate as pro-Russian or "disinformation" media. In the theoretical part, the work will focus on the concept of "soft power" (especially in relation to Joseph Nye) and sharp power, and their usefulness for the analysis of Russian propaganda. The author will focus mainly on the extent to which the narratives used in the Russia Today broadcast are used in the contributions of Parlamentní listy and whether this Czech media can be considered as pro-Russian or not. Business Groups in Japan: Characteristics and Management

This thesis characterises organizational structure of business groups in Japan in the 21st and 22nd century. Research is conducted on the basis of organizational theory, which is introduced in the first chapter. Typical organizational structures prevalent in Japan during the period in question, principally keiretsu and zaibatsu are emphasised. Author consequently analyses Toyota business group, which is commonly described by the pundits as vertical keiretsu belonging at the same time to different horizontal keiretsu groups. The relevance of keiretsu in the new millennium is discussed in the conclusion of the diploma thesis.
Barriers to Foreign Direct Investment in Japan

This thesis deals with the issue of the low stock of foreign direct investment in Japan. The aim is to identify the principle causes of this phenomenon and to suggest possible solutions. The barriers to foreign direct investment follow the methodology of APEC and their identification in the context of the Japanese economy is based on surveys amongst the managers of transnational corporations conducted by the Japanese governmental organization JETRO. The next issue, which is discussed in the thesis are the foreign direct investments as a phenomenon in the world economy, especially their impact on the economy.
