Development of IMS platform applications

This master’s thesis is focused on the network architecture of IMS (Internet Protocol Multimedia Subsystem) and development an application for IMS. IMS architecture is the convergence of fixed and mobile networks. IMS enables rapid deployment of new multimedia services. In the first chapter is showed and described architecture IMS in four layers and block model of architecture IMS. Next chapter is focused to protocols, which are used in IMS. One of the most important protocols in network IMS is SIP. This protocol is analyzed in details. For development IMS platform application was used Ericsson SDS (Service Development Studio) in version 4.1. In SDS were created applications type of client and servlet. In this master’s thesis is also used development environment NetBeans. In NetBeans was created application for management of captured images. In the same development environment was developed application that shows the contents of a database. Last chapter is devoted to analyze individual parts of communication between client and servlet, and when client uses http to download image file.

Controlled analog frequency filters

In this bachelor’s thesis are described elements frequency filters, especially OTA amplifier, current and voltage conveyor. There're presented possibilities of control frequency-selection filters and components to control, analog multipliers, DA converters, controlled amplifiers and digitally controlled potentiometers. There are discussed some circuits of controlled filters and their possibilities of independent control of parameters f0, Q. Frequency characteristics for mentioned filters are verified simulator programme. The circuits are modified to other type filter and again frequency charakterestics are verified simulator programme PsPice.

Assessment of activities of daily living in patients with Alzheimer disease in clinical practice

Alzheimer's disease (AD) is a very frequent disorder. There are about 150 thousand people living with AD in the Czech Republic. The diagnostic criteria require not only the evaluation of cognitive abilities (e.g. memory), but also the activities of daily living (ADL). The aim of this thesis is to describe the concept of ADL and to provide the information about its assessment in the patients with AD. It also describes the scales for ADL assessment available in the Czech Republic and abroad. The assessment of ADL is useful for the diagnosis of AD and its prodromal stages, for the evaluation of treatment effects or disease progression, for its staging, to estimate the caregiver burden, and for other purposes. The best way to assess ADL in the clinical setting is the administration of structured questionnaires to the caregiver of the patient. The thesis provides a list of 14 ADL questionnaires and a brief information about each of them. Together with my tutor, we have translated three ADL scales (FAQ-CZ, DAD-CZ and BADLS-CZ) into Czech language during my student scientific activity. These scales were given to 47 caregivers of the patients with clinical probable AD according to NINCDS-ADRDA criteria. Home experimemt by physics education at basic schools

This diploma thesis deals with home preparation for teaching physics at basic school by simple experiments. Set of worksheets with didactic analysis and evaluation of a questionnaire survey of attitudes pupils and parents of this theme. The worksheet is possible use in education of physics on basic school. Conclusions of questionnaire survey give an answer about appropriateness of home experiment by physics education from the perspective pupils and parents.
