The first part presents the theory related to this issue. The analytical part analyzes the company, especially its current state and evaluation. The last part deals with my personal proposals, which should lead to an improvement of some elements of the marketing mix.
Development of a sensing platform for the study of physiological functions of living cells
Marková, Aneta ; Víteček, Jan (referee) ; Vala, Martin (advisor)
The aim was to develop a sensing platform on the base of organic electrochemical transistor (OECT). The focus was on the preparation of proper electrode system and on optimalization of properties of thin layer of organic semiconductor. As a base, commercial glass substrates with integrated indium-tin oxide electrodes were chosen. Thin layers were prepared from organic semiconductor poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene):poly(styrenesulfonate) (PEDOT:PSS) by spin-coating. Four formulations of material were studied. Layers with different thickness were prepared and the dependence of transconductance on the thickness of the layer and ratio of width and length was observed. The degradation of electrode system was solved by galvanic plating with gold. Attention was also paid to modifications to PEDOT: PSS. It has been found that the optimal layer thickness for use in sensors is approximately 150 nm. By reducing the series resistance by using a silver paste, the transconductance of 23 mS was obtained for the Ink 2, for the Ink 3 the transconductance was 44 mS. Sensoric platforms with these transconductances can be used for detection of physiological functions of electrogenic cells, e.g. cardiomyocytes.
Reinforced concrete structure of a multifunction building
Marková, Anna ; Buřič, Pavel (referee) ; Šulák, Pavel (advisor)
The aim of this qualification thesis is to design a reinforced concrete monolithic ceiling construction of typical floor. It concerns locally supported panel that is 250 mm thick and of irregular shape. The spread of the span is 6 x 6 m with the overshoot of 1,2 m. Inside the building there is a staircase with a lift and a plumbing stack that is surrounded by the monolithic reinforced concrete wall that is 300 mm thick. The structural height of the floor is 3500 mm. The pillars` cross-sections are 450/450 mm. An analysis using the end-element method, a static design and a drawing documentation of the ceiling panel were conducted within this thesis.
Organic tranistors for sensorics
Marková, Aneta ; Omasta, Lukáš (referee) ; Vala, Martin (advisor)
The aim was to find the best available commercial formulation of poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene):poly(styrene sulfonate) (PEDOT:PSS) and methods and subsequent treatment of thin films for organic electrochemical transistors (OECT). These films will be used in bioelectronic sensors to measure the physiological function of cardiomyocytes. Studied material was PEDOT:PSS in six different formulations. Thin layers prepared by spin coating were modified in three ways, namely (i) immersion in ethylene glycol, (ii) drying and (iii) a combination of drying and ethylene glycol. The layers were then tested for the influence of ethylene glycol, thermal stability, the impact of storage, influence of aqueous medium, and additional thermal annealing. According to the results obtained, the most suitable treatment of most materials was immersion in ethylene glycol followed by thermal annealing of the layer. It was found that the most appropriate material formulation was Sigma Aldrich 739 316 treated by the combination of drying, immersion in ethylene glycol and thermal annealing.
Radotín's athletics in a local and a wider contexts (from a social-historical perspective)
Pěkný, Martin ; Šalanda, Bohuslav (advisor) ; Marková, Alena (referee)
The objective of the diploma thesis was to find out how an athletic club in Radotín functioned and was transformed mainly over the period from 1963 to 2010. The diploma thesis provides deeper findings about the relationship of local and all-national trends in sport as well as the institutional framework of sport in ČSSR and ČR. Nine research questions were defined to restrict the otherwise very wide problem area: Is there any similarity in the development of athletics at the local and all-national level? How does the performance of athletes change in an athletic club? How does the content of data registered in training diaries change? How does the catchment area for an athletic club change? How does the competition of an athletic club represented by other sports clubs or leisure time interest groups change? How does the hinterland and the equipment of an athletic club change? How does the approach of schools in the catchment area of an athletic club change? How has the institutional framework of approach to sport (athletics) changed after 1989? The questions were answered using quantitative and qualitative data. It was found out that the athletic club in Radotín was affected by a mix of macro and micro factors, such as the construction of a new stadium, the volunteers willing to work in the role of...
The Country Image of The Czech Republic from the Perspective of Japanese
Oka, Kohei ; Marková, Alena (advisor) ; Minářová, Markéta (referee)
The question of this study is how the Japanese imagine the Czech Republic. The aim of this study is to clarify the factors that constitute the image of the Czech Republic through the interview survey. It is apparent that, overall, the respondents do not have an image of the Czech Republic as economically developed. On the other hand, there is a tendency for respondents to consider working conditions and the level of education to be good or at least above a certain level. With regard to security, more people imagine that the Czech Republic is safe than those who imagine that the Czech Republic is not safe. Most respondents also indicated that the Czech Republic has an image of ethnic diversity. The image of Czechs' character is frequently expressed with words such as serious, diligent, hard-working, honest, calm, and laid-back. Many respondents imagined the Czech Republic as a comfortable country to live in. The two factors that seemed to influence the formation of the Czech image in this interview survey are "culture and arts" and "historical background," which includes Eastern Europe, socialism and communism, Russia and the Soviet Union. The "culture and art" factor evoked positive images such as "beautiful," "admired," and "high standard," while the "historical background" factor evoked negative...
Women of Transition: Collective Memory in Azerbaijan Republic
Hashimova, Husniyya ; Marková, Alena (advisor) ; Coman, Adam (referee)
By the dissolution of the Soviet Union in 1991, the social, political and economic transformation had a major impact on Azerbaijani society that was part of the Soviet Union for nearly seventy years. How it is remembered is as important as what happened. This thesis examines the collective memory of Azerbaijani women of transition and de(re) construction of their collective identity. Biographical interviews were conducted with ten women living in four cities of Azerbaijan. The research results indicate that gendered collective memory of the Soviet past and transition encompasses both nostalgic sentiments and trauma. These results conclude that historical consciousness and political awareness of Azerbaijani women is insufficient. Nevertheless, their collective identity has been constructed by their collective memory of the quotidian life. Keywords: collective memory, collective identity, Soviet Union, transition, Azerbaijani women, nostalgia, cultural trauma, oral history
The use of scouting elements at primary school
Marková, Anna ; Stará, Jana (advisor) ; Zemanová, Blanka (referee)
This thesis analyses primary education and the current trend of environmental education. It focuses on Scout and its educational approach. The starting points and educational principles of scouting are related to the current popular trends in education at primary schools. The Učíme se venku program and Real World Learning were chosen as similar effective environmental approaches that seek to have the same impact on pupils' attitudes and values. The Step by Step program was added to the thesis for the purpose of conducting research in the activity centres. Scout's methods and outlooks on education coincide with these approaches and with the Framework Education Programme in pedagogical goals, such as evolving the pupil's attitudes and values, a partnership approach, a positive relationship with nature and the upbringing of a democratic citizen. The theoretical part of the thesis aims to present the Scout's educational method and to compare it with other environmental programs and the Framework Education Programme, to establish where they agree and where they differ. The aim of the practical part is to find out how it is possible to use the individual elements of these directions in teaching at primary schools. The research results indicate the benefits of using elements of scouting for teaching at...
