Reluctance machine with permanent magnet on rotor
Kubín, Tomáš ; Mach, Martin (referee) ; Ondrůšek, Čestmír (advisor)
This master’s thesis is focuses on the reluctance motor, especially on the design of the rotor. It shows the development of the construction of rotors of reluctance motors. Furthermore, it shows the principle of reluctance machine and its basic mathematical description and the principle of improving the machine parameters by inserting permanent magnets into the rotor. It offers an overview of patents available from 2000 to present. Also it deals with the design of the rotor with permanent magnets for stator of induction motor.
Impact of core length on efficiency of a small induction machine
Žalkovský, Antonín ; Toman, Marek (referee) ; Mach, Martin (advisor)
The bachelor’s thesis deals with design issues of small induction machine, analyze the effects of changing length of the magnetic circuit on its efficiency. The theoretical part describes structural components of induction motor and working principle. The practical part focus on calculation of equivalent model of assigned induction machine for determined range of magnetic circuit lengths and the number of conductors in the stator groove. Follows calculations of torque characteristic and current characteristic, calculation of losses in all parts of induction machine and determine the efficiency. Another part of thesis is aim at measurement of original induction motor and motor with lengthened magnetic circuit. The last part is focused on analysis and comparing the calculated values.
Possibilities of elimination of electrostatic charge generation in the belt conveyor drive
Pavluš, Ondřej ; Mach, Martin (referee) ; Veselka, František (advisor)
The purpose of revision of electrical devices is to assess the device in regard to its safety. The main goal of this bachelor thesis is a revision of an electrical conveyor belt engine. We focus on safety from injury caused by electric current due to malfunction and methods for detection and prevention of electrostatic charge buildup. We conducted an inspection and prepared the required norms and measurements. After a careful analysis of results we determined, whether or not the device meets the safety requirements specified by the relevant industry norms. Based on the insights from the inspection, we took necessary precautions with regard to static electricity buildup.
Investigation on operating characteristics of multi-phase machine
Kuna, Kristián ; Mach, Martin (referee) ; Bárta, Jan (advisor)
S postupom času sa elektrotechnicky průmysl posouval dopředu. Přišel rozvoj v automobilovém průmyslu, leteckém průmyslu, navigácí a dalších odvětvích.
Impact of core length on induction machine characteristics
Kalvoda, Bohumil ; Klíma, Petr (referee) ; Mach, Martin (advisor)
The Bachelor theses deals with analytical calculation of asynchronous motor along with comparing calculated values with the values acquired by calculating of RMxprt program. The calculations are carried out by Matlab program, for the purpose of changing the parameters to increase engine efficiency.
Assessment of the safety risks of gas and petrol storage facilities and the process of their revision
Miadzvedzeu, Mikita ; Mach, Martin (referee) ; Veselka, František (advisor)
Bachelor’s thesis deals with the issue of revision of gas and oil products storage tanks. The task of the thesis is to explain the existence of the safety risks of gas and oil storage tanks and indicate ways of their elimination. Next objective is to prepare the review process of the selected type of tank, including the date of the following inspections and tests. Evaluate the lessons learned and propose appropriate measures.
Analysis of operating characteristics of electrical machines with variable number of poles
Rosendorf, Jakub ; Mach, Martin (referee) ; Bárta, Jan (advisor)
This work describes the current state of knowledge of electrical machines with pole changing capabilities, their advantages and potential disadvantages. It also focuses on design and construction aspects of these machines, including ways of controlling them. Finally, this work deals with the emergence of new transient phenomena related to changing of poles and under what conditions they occur. This work also shows the analysis of the operational properties of the electromagnetic model and the subsequent phenomena associated with the switching of pole configurations from two-pole to four-pole.
Analysis of multiphase electrical machine performance
Kříž, Antonín ; Mach, Martin (referee) ; Bárta, Jan (advisor)
In this thesis, a research on the history and current applications in transport of multiphase motors was conducted. Subsequently, a research on the aspects related to multiphase induction machines was carried out. Finally, the electromagnetic model of six phase induction machine was investigated in the in healthy condition and one faulty phase. The changes of parameters and motion of the motor were compared for both conditions.
Braking of an induction machine
Mareček, Šimon ; Janda, Marcel (referee) ; Mach, Martin (advisor)
The work is focused on the braking of an induction engine and the risks associated with it. In the first part, there are readers acquainted with the technical parameters of the induction engine, which is used for simulations. The second part focuses on the simulation program Ansys Maxwell and the finite element method. In the third part, there are readers introduced to a general description of the induction machine. The fourth part consists of countercurrent braking. The penultimate part is devoted to dynamic braking. The last part contains a brief introduction to generator braking. The chapters focused on braking are supplemented by simulated waveforms.
