Psychopathy and the possibilities of its diagnosis

The bachelor thesis called Psychopathy and the possibilities of its diagnosis is dedicated to the construct of psychopathy and the selected diagnostic possibilities in the current forensic field. The theoretical part of the thesis is focused on presenting the construct of psychopathy, current important models of this construct, the emotional side of the characteristics of psychopathy and, last but not least, will provide an overview of the diagnostic tools for psychopathy. The main significance is placed on the Psychopathy Checklist Revised and the analysis of late ERP components. The research part of the bachelor thesis contains a research proposal that deals with the possible verification of specific brain activity in individuals with psychopathic personality structure. The presumption of a differing brain activity lies in the reduced value of a component called Late Positive Potential (LPP).

The diploma thesis “Post-harvest Quality of Cut Flowers” aims at the description of solutions and technologies that are able to prolong the vase life of cut flowers and the other new products and techniques that lead to extending the storage time. The thesis also describes the factors that negatively influence the vitality of cut flowers and shorten the vase life. The development of the new solutions and techniques improves the care for the cut flowers, their durability and vitality. The practical part of this thesis covers the experiment which evaluates individual post-harvest commercial solutions. For the purpose of the experiment the Dahlia and Symphyotrichum had been chosen and the vase life of above-mentioned cut flowers was observed. The selected commercial solutions were FloraLife 300, FloraLife Express Clear ULTRA 200. Moreover, one of the solutions was homemade and included sugar and Savo original, which is a Chlorine- containing household disinfectant. The control sample was put into tap water.
Use of expressive therapies in psychopedies

The topic of this bachelor thesis is the application of elements of expressive therapies in people with mental disabilities. In the theoretical part, reader in several chapters will be acquainted with the issue of mental disability, etiology and classification of mental retardation, the rights of people with mental disabilities, how and where these people can spend their free time and reader can learn basic information about therapies used in special pedagogics. Especially expressive therapies are being described - music therapy, art therapy, bibliotherapy, drama therapy and dance movement therapy. This part is followed by the practical part, where the research is carried out by qualitative method. With a non-standardized, unstructured five-month observation, research is conducted at the Studio Oáza - the leisure time center for people with mental disabilities. Studio Oáza organizes hobby groups and activities for people with mental retardation. The research is carried out within two hobby groups, music movement education and art education, where elements of expressive therapies are used, namely music therapy and art therapy. Outsourcing of public services by municipalities

This master thesis deals with outsourcing in public sector specially focused on one type of public services. There are three main goals of this thesis: to describe outsourcing in public services, to determine methodology of evaluation forms of providing public services and as a case study to compare past and current form of providing public service called Publishing city hall magazine in Prague 7. Firstly, the thesis describes outsourcing in public sector in general, highlights current trends and future development of outsourcing. Secondly, the theoretical part determines evaluation criteria that are used in the practical part for comparison of the two forms of providing the above mentioned public service in Prague 7. Moreover, the criteria are applied to compare the same public service among 10 Prague districts. The result of the case study shows that the current form of publishing city hall magazine in Prague 7 is less expensive and the magazine has better quality than the previous one.
Use of compensation exercise and modern equipment in fitness.

Title: Use of compensation exercise and modern equipment in fitness. Objectives: This thesis deals with the compensation exercise, the use of modern equipment and balance tools in fitness centers. Therefore, I focused on a sufficient explanation of these terms. This is a topic that has been addressed many years ago, but it is still an evolving area, this is why there is a lot of literature about this topic. I tried to state in my work large number of opinions from the literature, to be able to compare different views on the topic of inadequate compensation and balance exercise effects on the human body. Methods: My work is based on the research methods. Conclusion: The compensation exercise should be part of every training session. Before this exercise is included in the training unit, it is necessary to know the reasons that led to the unilateral load and what the current status of the muscles is. This is why it is important to perform input diagnostics of the exercisers. Keywords: Sport, fitness, body building, compensatory exercises, balance tools, modern equipment.
Strategy of financial education in the Czech Republic and its implementation

This bachelor thesis describes financial literacy in the Czech Republic. The thesis should provide to readers comprehensive summary about level of financial education in the Czech Republic and should illustrate importance of this education for the whole society. Big part of this work is devoted to the most important documents approved by the Czech government which are intended to improve level of financial literacy of Czech citizens. These documents also exactly determine the term of financial literacy. Further the work deals with completed researches in this area and the content is enriched by own research focused on financial literacy development of secondary school pupils. One of the main goals of the thesis is to find available possibilities of financial education both for schools and for adults. Additionally the thesis presents survey of publications and other study materials available to this topic on the Czech market.
Analysis of the Role of Social Activities in Local Development of Central Bohemia Region

The thesis deals with a separate analysis of the local development and the state of social activities. Closer examination focuses on the method of financing and support of local development and civil society initiatives in the Central Bohemian Region. In the Czech Republic are these initiatives defined best by the competition "Village of the Year" since 1995. The aim of this work is to assess the impact of civic initiatives in the local development and quality of life in selected communities. The results of the competition in the field of communities' social life are represented by both the current state and the information from directed interviews and surveys. These interviews were conducted with the representatives of the communities awarded for a community life. Contribution of the thesis will be to provide partial conclusions and recommendations concerning the potential development of rural communities with regard to the existence of civil initiatives, primarily in the Central Bohemian Region. Some general or cross-sectional findings can be applied to other regions in the Czech Republic.
