This bachelor thesis concentrates on theme marketing plan for company known as Robertone Motors which re-builds and repairs american cars. This company hasn´t have any marketing plan yet. It has tried for some propagation few times. That´s why I chose to write a complex marketing plan which can be useful for this company. Marketing plan is focused only on owners of american cars. Company wants to get back to them.

The proposal of a strategy for expansion into a foreign market

The diploma thesis deals with the proposal of the expansion strategy of a selected company on the foreign market. The company is engaged in the business of providing services mainly in the babysitting sector. The thesis is divided into four main parts. The introductory part of the thesis defines the problem to be solved and sets the main objective of the thesis, which is followed by the sub-objectives that the thesis aims to achieve. The first part further describes the methodology used in the diploma thesis. The second part of the diploma thesis is focused ont the key theoretical concepts related to the problem. The theoretical part is followed by the analytical part, which describes the current state of the selected market and the company under study. The last part of the thesis is devoted to proposals and recommendations for the entry of the company into the selected foreign market.

Real-time magnitude estimation using MEMS-based accelerometers

III Abstract Earthquakes can be catastrophic events and disrupt people's lives in a significant and uncontrollable ways. Earthquake early warning (EEW) can help to reduce earthquake's impact and provide people with a technology that gives them time for action before destructive waves strike. This thesis contributes to the development of OpenEEW/Grillo system, by improving an algorithm for magnitude estimation. The thesis consists of two parts, the first part explains the concept of EEW and compares different approaches to EEW and various magnitude estimation algorithms. The second part is observational and uses seismic data from Grillo/OpenEEW network in Mexico. We use data from 1559 earthquakes recorded at the network from 2017 to 2021 and analyse the peak ground displacement with respect to the earthquake magnitude. We observe that earthquake magnitude correlates well with the peak ground displacement and the length of the P-wave segment used in the analysis. We estimate linear regression parameters for P-wave segments up to 10 s long and express earthquake magnitude as the function of peak ground displacement and the length of the P-wave segment. Teleseismic earthquake occurrence and subduction-induced volcanic activity along island arcs

This diploma thesis studies seismo-volcanic interactions at convergent plate margins. Its aim is to establish a statistical apparatus appropriate for analyzing seismicity patterns be- neath volcanoes. At the beginning, the thesis summarizes basic concepts of volcanism at convergent plate margins and basic seismological issues. The thesis takes advantage of so called EHB catalogue of hypocentral determinations based on data of the International Seimological Center. The analysis of combined space-time correlation dimension of the EHB catalogue established limits for a definition of seismic sequences related to co-seismic as well as post-seismic stress transfer mechanisms. The analysis of b-value of the Guten- berg-Richter law was carried out to estimate degree of heterogeneity of rock environment. Seismicity pattern beneath subduction-related volcanoes at 14 island arcs was studied by means of seismic sequence density analysis and the b-value analysis. The thesis concentrat- ed on submarine portions of the volcanic arcs, the magmatic/volcanic activity of which is poorly understood. We constrained areas with specific seismicity patterns and distinct sea- floor morphology in order to find potential volcanic structures. Subduction factory interaction of subduction-related magma with the overlying lithosperic wedge

III Abstract The world's largest earthquakes, the most destructive tsunamis and the most explosive vol- canism are generated at subduction zones at convergent plate margins. Despite of high societal and economic importance of these areas, there are still some poorly understood processes, such as the process of magma generation and ascent to the Earth surface. This thesis contributes to the solution of the problem of location of source areas of calc-alkaline magma and its migration. It consists of two parts: in the first one, the phenomenon of vol- canism at convergent plate margins and seismological background are described, while the second part explores structures in the lithosphere beneath volcanoes in the broader region of the Banda Arc (Indonesia). For the purposes of the research, the ISC hypocentral de- terminations based on data from the global seismic network, relocated by a procedure of Engdahl et al. and collected in the so called EHB database were used. The analyses of spa- tial, time and magnitude dependencies in the dataset of earthquakes occurring within the Banda Arc area enabled us to formulate several conclusions: The occurrences of strong teleseismically recorded earthquakes in the lithospheric wedge beneath volcanoes suggests that the respective rock medium is not partially melted....
