The role of trust during online shopping

This bachelor thesis examines the importance of trust in online shopping in the Czech Republic. The aim is to analyse consumer shopping behaviour and propose measures that have the potential to increase shopper trust. The form of a questionnaire survey is used to find out whether the trustworthiness of customers influences their purchase. The thesis is mainly concerned with e-business, commerce, factors influencing buying behaviour and especially trust in this environment. The practical part includes the processing of questionnaire survey data. The questionnaire is designed to be suitable for all age groups and is aimed at consumers who shop through e-shops. The questionnaire is sent to 100 respondents and the aim is to get as much information as possible on how trust is important when making a purchase. Whether the look of the site, reviews by others and other factors are important to them. The intention is to get as much experience and opinions as possible from respondents in different age categories. The result of the work is a recommendation to a particular e-shop that lead to increased trust among consumers.

František Hrubín´s translations of French poetry

The main theme of this bachelor's thesis is work of Czech writer František Hrubín, mainly his translations of the following French poets: Charles Baudelaire, Stéphane Mallarmé, Paul Verlaine, Raoul Ponchon, Arthur Rimbaud, Guillaume Apollinaire, Jules Superville, Pierre-Jeane Jouve, Robert Desnos, Jacques Prévert a Pierre Emmanuel. The first part is focused on Hrubín's life starting from his childhood and ending with his last poetry collections and it is intersect with his literary development, which started in his early life. The next section represents his translations of literature in general, its function and historical context. The thesis then turns to the translation activities of František Hrubín and gradually moves on to specific French poets whose works Hrubín translated. Here, the theoretical part is joined by a practical part, where individual poems are analysed and compared with the original. In the last part, there is a list of all French poetry translated by Hrubín, which focuses only on the book editions which are arranged alphabetically according to the names of the French poets. The thesis concludes with an attempt to clarify Hrubín's choice of those authors and it tries to find if there is any common characteristic between them.

Mobilní aplikace STAG

This bachelor´s thesis focuses on research and subsequent development of mobile application build upon IS/STAG for University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice. Application will provide students with organized view of information in IS/STAG. Included with possibilities to plan subjects for oncoming semesters. The work contains research of existing programs on a similar principle. Based on this research survey is created. And its evaluation is used as basis for program development. Practical part focuses on creating software using frameworks, which have been described in detail. Aforementioned frameworks are: Ionic, Angular, Apache Cordova. Resulting application works as front-end view of information from API IS/STAG and own API for planner data retention.

(RIGHT TO RESPECT FOR PRIVATE AND FAMILY LIFE) The main goal of this diploma thesis, called Right to respect for private and family life, is to analyze the progress in the issue of the right to respect for private and family life from the perspective of registered partnership. I had to narrow the topic of this diploma thesis to registered partnership, because of the fact, that the scope of the right to respect for private and family life is so broad, that it couldn't be summarized in the mere diploma thesis. Emphasis of this diploma thesis is placed on regulation set out in the European Convention for the Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms (the Convention), other regulation is mentioned only marginally. The diploma thesis is divided into four chapters, further it contains the introduction, the conclusion, the list of abbreviation, the list of literature and the Czech and English abstract. The most important part of this diploma thesis is chapter three, which deals with the right to respect for private and family life from the perspective of registered partnership set out in the article 8 of the Convention. Role of addiction specialist in children's home in the Ústí nad Labem region

Background: Studies situated in an institutional care environment point to the fact that addiction issues in institutional care are a topic that deserves special attention, even with regard to the fact that the children of these institutions are considered vulnerable to risky behavior. The Ústí nad Labem Region has long been in the first places in the prevalence of substance use and is also specific in the occurrence of a number of negative social factors. In the whole region there is 1 addiction treatment outpatient clinic focused on the target group of children and adolescents, which during its operation registered repeated demand for specialized help that originates from children's homes. Aim: The main aim of the study is to identify the opportunity of applying an addiction specialist in the children's home in the Ústí nad Labem region. The partial aims of the study are to map the current state of addiction issues in these children's homes and to describe the possible form of cooperation of these facilities and addiction specialist with regard to the identification of barriers to this cooperation. Providing addiction counseling for smoking cessation in residential treatment among drug users: a study in selected therapeutic communities in the Czech Republic

Background: Providing of addiction consulting for smoking cessation in inpatient services for substance users is a controversial topic for professionals in the whole field of addictology. Foreign professionals focus on this topic more, which can be proven by studies confirming the advantages of concurrent treatment of tobacco and another substance addiction. Aim: The main aim of this study is to find out if addiction consulting for smoking cessation is being provided to substance users in therapeutic communities in the Czech Republic and if yes, how is it being done. A partial goal is to discover the obstacles and reasons that prevent providing addiction consulting for smoking cessation in therapeutic communities. Methods: The research is based on a combination of qualitative and quantitative approach. The research sample was obtained through the method of selective sampling. Online questionnaires were used in the quantitate part and semi-structured interviews in the qualitative part. Altogether, 14 therapeutic communities were involved. Česká produkce nábytku 60. - 80. let 20. století - inspirace pro dnešek

The aim of this thesis is to study furniture production in Czechoslovakia during 60s-80s of 20th century, evaluate the benefits of this time period and specify progressive trends for current generation. Thesis is describing history and operation of the Spojene UP Zavody thorough the chosen period and particular changes of sector furniture lines. This work is further focused on contemporary furniture production inspired by this time period. In the second part of the thesis analysis has been made for proposal of furnishing element which continues in own proposal of selected sector line. In the end of the work creative solutions are described, followed by discussion and conclusion. Attachments, containing constructive solution of one furnishing element in designed sector line, list of material, calculation of technical-economic standard consumption of material and list of used hardware, are enclosed to the thesis.

Positive and negative motivation in IT startups

This work's main purpose is to clarify the reasons for selected IT startup leaders to use motivational factors. It also explores which interpersonal relationships exist at the given workplaces. Finally, it identifies which support resources help interpersonal relationships in the organization. The theoretical part deals with selected positive and negative motivational factors, which can usually be encountered at startups and normally in the workplace. It defines basic terms such as positive and negative motivation. Also mentioned are the pitfalls of very widely used motivational tools such as motivation, financial reward, or punishment based on available scientific studies.
