Penile plethysmography
Koudelková, Zuzana ; Harabiš, Vratislav (referee) ; Hrozek, Jan (advisor)
This bachelor´s thesis focuses on methods that examine volumetric changes of genital organs (especially for volume changes in male sexual limb). These changes are used in the sex diagnosis. The most common type of examination is to determine sexual preference of the patient. The aim of this work is to describe how have been the changes investigated previously and how they are investigating in the routine practice now. Find out which are their limits. Try to build a new type of sensor which could help to better evaluate the volume changes. And try to create a program in LabVIEW environment in which the measured data is displayed and stored.
Study of influence of quantum dots to biological systmes and their components
Koudelková, Zuzana ; Zítka, Ondřej (referee) ; Provazník, Ivo (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to summarize the available evidence about quantum dots and their effects on living systems. The text describes methods for the preparation of quantum dots with respect to their characteristics (size, fluorescence wavelength) and methods of quantum dots bio-functionalization of biomolecules. In living organisms is a large number of proteins, because these are considered as one of the main components of the interaction of organisms. Therefore, the work also provides basic information about proteins. Finally, there are described various methods by which the quantum dots may be characterized mainly by differential pulse voltammetry measurement zeta potential and fluorescence measurement. The main objective of this work is to propose models of different environments in which will be degradation of quantum dots with regard to the evaluation of acquired kinetic parameters for predicting the stability of individual quantum dots.
A monistic organizational structure of a joint-stock company under the Business Corporations Act in comparison with the French regulation
Koudelková, Zuzana ; Černá, Stanislava (advisor) ; Zahradníčková, Marie (referee)
The aim of the thesis is to characterize the new monistic system of corporate governance of the joint-stock company introduced by the Business Corporations Act and compare it with the french classical system. The scope of the research is focused mainly on the analysis of the basic interpretative problems that arise within the new legislation and the main differencies and similarities of the czech and french monistic systems. The thesis is composed of three chapters, first of them mainly defining the theoretical differentiation of the monistic and dualistic system of corporate governance. The Chapter Two is the most important part because it examines the pitfalls of the relevant Czech legislaslation on the monistic system. The Board of directors and the Statutory director are the main bodies set up within this system. This chapter is oriented mainly on the possible difficulties that may arise from the varied interpretations of the law caused by the application of the analogy in connection to the Supervisory board and the Board of directors of the dualistic system. The Subchapter 2.5 deals with the Board of directors as the basic controlling and executive body which is co- responsible for the business management of the join-stock company. The scope of the authority of the Statutory director and the...
Court interpreting for non-native speakers in criminal proceedings (Czech Republic)
Koudelková, Zuzana ; Čeňková, Ivana (advisor) ; Langerová, Marie (referee)
The aim of the present theoretical-empirical thesis is to present the topic of court interpreting for non-native speakers, focusing on criminal proceedings in the Czech Republic. At first, the study looks into the context of Czech court interpreting, taking into account interpreters' tasks in individual stages of criminal proceedings and concentrating on communication situations in which non-native speakers take part. The topic of the second chapter is interpreting for non- native speakers in general. This chapter consists of findings and conclusions of studies published by Michaela Albl-Mikasa as well as other authors who address the topic of conference interpreting through lingua franca. The third chapter looks into interpreting for non- native speakers in the area of court interpreting. It is based on an analysis of findings obtained by lingua franca research in the field of conference interpreting against the background of general court interpreting theories. The empirical part provides a description of research based on hypotheses of a survey carried out by Michaela Albl-Mikasa transferred into the context of Czech court interpreting in criminal proceedings. The aim is to find whether interpreters, judges, state prosecutors, police officers and lawyers use different strategies when...
Vývoj elektrochemického detektoru pro monitorování těžkých kovů
Koudelková, Zuzana
The aim of this dissertation thesis "Development of electrochemical detector for heavy metal monitoring" was to create sensible sensors for the determination of heavy metals in the aquatic ecosystem and which would be usable for real applications, determination of the content of various metals in waste industrial waters. For the simultaneous determination of Zn(II), Cd(II), Pb(II) and Cu(II), a carbon paste electrode modified with chromium oxide was developed, based on this modification were produced the screen printed electrodes for the simultaneous determination of said metals with good limit of detection. For the usability of printed sensors in situ, a new electrochemical cell design was designed. This proposed cell also facilitates dosing of samples and buffer necessary for electrochemical analysis. Further, for determination of the total chromium content in aqueous solutions, was introduced a new method using a silver film on a glassy carbon electrode. Finally, various methods for waste water treatment from heavy metals have been tested.
