The Spiritual Aspect in the Founding Work of Joseph Calasanz

The dissertation analyses the activities of Joseph Calasanz in education and the circumstances which resulted in founding the Order of the Pious Schools. The thesis pursues his decisions to promote education of children from the poorest social classes. Based on abundant literary sources, in particular, his correspondence, Calasansz's initiatives and instructions for administration of the schools and education of children have been examined. The work also pursues the aims of education and the key competences which Piarists were supposed to acquire.

Andrea Ulianková, betroth SPIRITUALITY IN THE LIFE AND WORK OF MONS. VILIAMA HOTKU. Praha 2006, 45 s. Virtual theme of the work is the core spirituality of Viliam Hotka - a Slovak cleric, which is betroth spirituality. It brings us closer to the theme of betroth symbolism as a starting point of betroth spirituality as we find it in the tradition of the Old and New Testaments, in liturgy and in the mysticism of Christianity. Substance of the work is the life and work of the researched (studied) figure and a systematic presentation of betroth spirituality. The heart of the betroth spirituality rests in the emphasis of the spiritual reality of the gift of existential unity with God through Jesus Christ in the Holy Spirit. The work introduces the living through the betroth aspect of spirituality in the community Gratia, which is based upon spiritual foundation of Mons. Anglická anotace Theology and Spirituality of Priestly Celibacy The aim of this diploma work is to show the basis of priestly celibacy and to draw conclusions for priests' daily life. At the beginning the autor speaks about biblical roots of celibacy and works out a brief history of priestly celibacy praxis. The main part focuses on recent theological debate on priestly celibacy and then introduces its own definition of theological basis of priestly celibacy. Last part shows some practical outcomes for spirituality of priestly celibacy. Keywords: priesthood, celibacy, continence, cleric, spirituality.

Anglická anotace A woman and spiritual leadership The aim of this thesis was to give the feminine element through the spiritual leadership in both roles: as a woman, being accompanied by - the object of the spiritual leadership, and the accompanying woman - the subject of the spiritual leadership. The work was based on her unique role in the history of salvation, on the specific characteristics of women, which may be used with the benefit in practicing the spiritual leadership but with the knowledge (awareness) of certain but overcoming difficulties All believers know that our lives ought to be directed to the ultimate goal - to meet the God in eternity. To follow this way as direct as possible in unification with Christ, in addition to our own forces, experiences and assessment of the situation, we may also use the possibility of spiritual leadership during doubt, trials and crises. Elena Hotárová, CRISIS OF THE TRUST OF MANKIND IN GOD. Praha 2006 Thesis presents contemporary problematic issue of crisis of trust of modern man in relation to other human beings and God on the basis of psychological and theological aspect. The term trust as an expression of theological virtues is explained on the basis of biblical solutions and systematic theological reflection, which encompasses the view of the theologists. Anthropological aspect is reflected in closer look at psychological aspect of trust and emotional wound and also in fundamental outline of the mechanism of the relationships between the trust in man and the trust in God. Author's part indicates some forms and concepts of inner healing of a Christian or a non-believer, of the original entity, which only finds its complete recovery in the profound relationships of trust. The Theology and the Spirituality of the Eucharist adoration in the Doctrine and the Protession of the Church atte the Seconnd Vatican Council In this work I proceed from interpretation of Eucharist and Eucharistic reverence as it is stated in the Council and After-council documents of Magisteria. The first chapter is devoted to a conception of Eucharist as a thanks giving, praise, sacrifice, remembrance and feast. As a precondition of Eucharist reverence I also add a sub heading about a presence of Christ in Eucharist. In the second chapter, for better understanding of the after-council development, I firstly submit a brief summary of Eucharist reverence in history of church until the Second Vatican Council. Afterwards I focused on the Council and After-council documents of Magisteria, which are dedicated to a theme of Eucharistic reverence. These documents mainly emphasize the association of Eucharist adoration with a celebration of Eucharist, from which adoration and actually all manifestations of Eucharist reverence come from and again lead back to. Pavel Vojtěch Kohut OCD Annotation: The submitted thesis is focused on the concept of human labour in the working of Saint Clara and related clarisses spirituality. For better orientation in the subject there are basic historic data from the life of Saint Clara of Assisi and from the history of Poor Clara's Order. Furthermore, this work briefly introduces the term of human labour from the aspect of anthropological sciences and philosophy and the concept of Magisterium, mainly in the documents Gaudium et spes and Laborem exercens. The fundamental part deals with the dignity of human labour within the clarisses and franciscans spirituality. The work is based on interpretation of testaments contained in the written sources from the 13th century. Additionally, the author briefly mentions evolution process of the concept of labour within the Order of Poor Clares, outlines subject of the servants - external sisters. OCD Annotation: The bachelor thesis deals with the questions of the theological virtues in the poetry of Theresa of Lisieux. At first, the author defines the concept "the theological virtues". Then Theresa's poetry is concisely characterized and set into the context of her work. The results published in the French edition of Theresa's complete works (1992) are consequently taken as the basis of the author's investigation. In the following chapters, that form the core of the whole thesis, Theresa's poems are analysed according to the prism of the theological virtues - faith, hope and charity. The author comes to the following conclusions: 1. Faith is the topic that gets in the Saint's poetry the least attention, despite its being the source from which her poetry springs forth. 2. Hope is the basic dimension of Theresa's poetry. She considers herself to be the expelled fiancée of Christ waiting patiently for the life with God in heaven. 3.
