Kastner, Jan ; Frainšic, Michal (advisor) ; Turčová, Ivana (referee)
Summary Title of project: Effect of submitters to the design of outdoor management training courses. Aim of project: We compared the form of outdoor management training, which is described in the literature with images of HRs. We defined how much HRs affect form of outdoor management training courses. Methodology: We used a qualitative research method, specifically literature search in preparation for our project. We decided to incorporate the surfy as a quantitative methods of research. We created the questionnaire specifically for our purposes and we spread it among a random group of HRs. We used both of printed and electronic form. The results of the survey were compared with the facts found in the literature. Results: The results of the work serve to illustrate theories of courses of outdoor management training in the Czech republic. We found that the submitter's requirements of outdoor management training courses are not in accordance with the principles of this corporate training tool. We concluded that the influence of HRs is strong enough to alter the form of courses. Key words: outdoor management training, experiential education, experience, feedback, outdoor course
Evalution of information from Meteosat 8 and the CZRAD network of meteorological radars in selected significant convective situations
Hajáková, Jaroslava ; Kastner, Jiří (referee) ; Pešice, Petr (advisor)
KAPITOLA ABSTRACT Abstract Topic of Mc. S. Thesis: Evaluation of information from Meteosat 8 and the CZRAD network of meteorological radars in selected significant convective situations. Abstract: This paper focused on comparing the information from the satellite Meteosat 8 and the CZRAD network of meteorological radars in selected significant convective situations. The main goals of this study were to assess how satellite and radar data respond on development of convection and if the satellite data responds on intenzifying convection before the radar data. For this purpose, four significant convective situations and associated areas (72 x 72 km) were selected, and the satellite and radar data were preprocessed. Appropriate differences of spectral channels (i.e. satellite methods) and radar products were chosen. The preprocessing involved data synchronization in time and location. The parallax correction was used for satellite data. Seven satellite methods were used - spectral channel IR 10.8 (TIR10.8), difference of channels WV 0.6 and IR 10.8 (TWV6.2 - TIR10.8), IR 13.4 and IR10.8 (TIR13.4 - TIR10.8), IR 12.0 and IR 10.8 (TIR12.0 - TIR10.8), IR 8.7 and IR 10.8 (TIR8.7 - TIR10.8,), NIR 1.6 and VIS 0.6 (REFNIR1.6 - REFVIS0.6) and the trispectral method. The trispectral method resulted from measurements of...

The questionnaire we created specifically for our purposes, and spread it among a random sample of climbers. For further information, were used guided interviews and written questions directed to the people, providing individual information sources. The investigation using case studies, we analyzed the two main Web site for climbers in the country. Results: The results of the work serves as a basis for a thesis, the to prepare the system for a particular rock area. Will also be used as basis for further increasing the level of information provided in the CR climbing tourism. Keywords: rock climbing, information services, tourism, websites, guides
Anomalies of air temperature in Czech Republic
Šandová, Milada ; Kastner, Jiří (advisor) ; Moravčík, Luboš (referee)
This paper presents the spatial distribution of air temperature anomalies in the Czech Republic for three climatological periods: 1851-1900, 1901-1950, 1961-1990. Main stationary factors influencing climate in the Czech Republic are latitude, longitude and altitude. Therefore the temperature gradient, which was calculated by multidimensional linear stepwise regressions analysis, was expressed in a degree of latitude, longitude or hundred meters of altitude. The gradient was specified as monthly, seasonal and annual means of each period. The aim of the Mc. S. thesis was to determine areas with negative or positive anomaly and to explain the causes of the anomaly. For this purpose a method of deprivation of the stationary factors and their influences was developed. To avoid altitude influence, the monthly and annual temperature means were converted to sea level temperature. Afterwards, the gradients of average monthly and annual air temperature were used to avoid the latitude and longitude influence. The anomaly represents the deviation of the average value determined from values, which were deprived of geographical location. Resultant values were processed by Inverse Distance Weighted interpolation in the Geographical Information System (GIS) environment. The main result of this work is representation of...
Geoinformatical modelling of the precipitation anomalies in Central Europe
Kafka, Tomáš ; Kastner, Jiří (advisor) ; Štych, Přemysl (referee)
The topic of this work is the methodological assessment of spatial variability in precipitation anomalies in central Europe using the tools of geographic information systems (GIS). Various on-line data sources for studied area are presented and compared each other in terms of their spatial information. For a model analysis for the period 1950 - 2006 was chosen dataset Ensembles Gridded observational dataset (E-Obs) in the spatial resolution of approximately 25 x 25 km. This data set is stored in a multidimenzional raster format NetCDF, which is in the work presented in detail. This way of storing data for geographical analysis are supported by desktop GIS software - ESRI ArcGIS, and to work with NetCDF data E-Obs in it's module ArcMap is developed a set of separate functions (toolbox). With the use of these instruments was from E-Obs dataset extracted several time series, related to the reference subareas. For precipitation's anomalies are considered in these series events indicated the extreme daily precipitation total, or long-term number of consecutive days with continuous rainfall, or long-term period without rainfall. Acording to intensities or length of precipitation totals and affected areas are selected most extreme episodes, which are modeled in GIS. It is presented the spatial evaluation...
The influence of selected meteorological elements on ground-level ozone regime in Middle Bohemia
Hybler, Roman ; Kastner, Jiří (advisor) ; Borovanský, Jan (referee)
This thesis is concerned with the regime of ground-level ozone and influence of selected meteorological elements on its concentration. Due to short time of persistance in the tropospheric air ground-level ozone has temporally and spatially variable concentration. Therefore we especially in the warm seasons observe high-level concentrations having a negative impact on human health and ecosystems. The aim of this thesis is to recover a possible links of the selected meteorological elements and pollutants concentrations to the ground-level ozone concentration. We discovered that annual regime is managed by sun declination. At comparison of winter minimum and summer maximum the effect of sun declination was express in numbers in order 75 % as far as 80 % for all three stations. But when we focus on short time episodes, e. g. daily changes, the influence of sun declination is almost negligible. The extinction of solar radiation in atmosphere and concentrations of ozone precursors are factors which decisive of ground-level ozone concentration during this short time episodes. When occur a conditions for increased penetration of solar radiation to the earths surface, especially low cloudiness, low absolute humidity and low column of total ozone, photochemical activity becomes more intensive and...
Extension of biomass boiler
Kastner, Jakub ; Šťastný, Ladislav (referee) ; Burian, František (advisor)
Goal of this work is design and create extension data acquisition unit for existing system of heating boiler. Work is divided to theoretical and practical part. In theoretical part is mentioned methods of measuring temperature. Methods of measuring flue gas and placement of boilers into different classes according to standard ČSN EN 303-5:2013. The practical part deals with the design of schematic circuit for measuring the required parameters (lambda probe, thermocouple, measuring the light intensity using the photo-resist). Mechanical cover, testing created board under real conditions and the involvement of extension board into existing system of boiler. When commissioning the first version of the board appeared errors that were removed in the second version. In attempts to improve the operations of two boilers were found errors leading to the impossibility of any improvements.
