Novel anticoagulants from the perspective of cardiac patients
KŘÍŽOVÁ, Anna
The bachelor thesis deals with anticoagulant treatment in cardiac patients and their satisfaction with it. Over time, anticoagulant therapy is becoming one of the most widespread areas, which is represented in almost every field of contemporary medicine and nursing. In cardiac patients, anticoagulant treatment plays a very important and irreplaceable role in the prevention and treatment of the disease itself. The aim of this bachelor thesis is to map the awareness, advantages and disadvantages of anticoagulant treatment with warfarin or one of the representatives of NOAK according to the experience of patients with atrial fibrillation and then compare the resulting parameters. A qualitative survey method was chosen for the research survey. Data were obtained through semi-structured interviews with patients. A total of 16 patients were contacted, 8 of whom were taking warfarin and the remaining 8 patients were taking NOAK - 4 Xarelto patients, 3 Pradax patients and 1 Eliquis patient. The results of the research showed that patients are insufficiently informed about their options in the selection of anticoagulants. Another shortcoming in the education of patients about anticoagulant treatment is the insufficient use of an information brochure. The results also showed that patients on NOAK are more satisfied with anticoagulant therapy than on warfarin, as it does not bring them so many limitations. However, side effects were more common in patients with NOAK than with warfarin. Overall, however, both groups of patients evaluate anticoagulant therapy rather positively. Based on the results, an informative brochure for patients with anticoagulant treatment was created as part of the work, which can help them decide between anticoagulant drugs and get acquainted with their options.
The cultural dimension of the original. Its role in consecutive interpreting into the interpreter's mother tongue and active foreign language, with focus on everyday life cultural aspects

Effect of selected bicyclic monoterpenes on the activity and expression of antioxidant enzymes in human liver
Křížová, Anna ; Boušová, Iva (advisor) ; Szotáková, Barbora (referee)
Charles University Faculty of Pharmacy in Hradec Králové Department of Biochemical Sciences Candidate: Anna Křížová Supervisor: doc. PharmDr. Iva Boušová, Ph.D. Title of diploma thesis: Effect of selected bicyclic monoterpenes on the activity and expression of antioxidant enzymes in human liver Monoterpenes are plant secondary metabolites, which are used as flavourings or aromas in the food industry due to their smell and flavour. They also play an irreplaceable role in the cosmetic and pharmaceutical industry. Monoterpenes are substances with a wide spectrum of biological activities. They exert, for example, antimicrobial, anti- inflammatory, antioxidant, hypotensive, and analgesic effects. In addition to the positive effects of these substances, some cases of their toxic effects in various organs were also observed, mostly in the liver. Monoterpenes also affect the activity and expression of antioxidant enzymes. The aim of this thesis was to determine the effect of five selected bicyclic monoterpenes, (+)-camphor, (-)-camphor, (-)-fenchone, camphene, and (-)-α-thujone, on the activity and expression of antioxidant enzymes. Of those enzymes, glutathione-S-transferase (GST), glutathione peroxidase (GPx), glutathione reductase (GR), superoxide dismutase (SOD), and catalase (CAT) were studied. At...
Effect of warm-up on performance of football players
Křížová, Anna ; Jebavý, Radim (advisor) ; Hojka, Vladimír (referee)
Title: The Effects of a warm-up on the performance of football players Objectives: The comparison of influence of two types of warm-up before and after a physical activity on performance of U19 football players. Testing of subsequent post-warm-up performance focused on acceleration, explosive power and agility. Methods: In this empirical-theoretical thesis, a total of twenty-four U19 football players, divided in two experimental groups, is tested. The players within each group undertook either a complete dynamic warm-up or a shorter warm-up without the dynamic component. The performance was tested after the warm-up utilizing four tests - an acceleration run test on 30 m, a standing long jump, a foul throw and a shuttle run. The same tests were conducted again after an interlaid physical activity. The same procedure was repeated after a week when the two groups swapped the warm-up methods. Statistical analyses were employed to evaluate the results. Results: The hypothesis 1, assuming a positive effect of a complete dynamic warm-up on the performance before the physical activity was on one hand supported in the acceleration run on 30 m and the foul throw. On the other hand, no distinctive advantage of a complete dynamic warm-up was observed for the standing long jump and the shuttle run. Hypothesis 2...
Effect of warm up to repetitive speed test
Křížová, Anna ; Jebavý, Radim (advisor) ; Červinka, Pavel (referee)
Title: Effect of warm up to repetitive speed test Objectives: Comparison of effects of two variations of warm up on repetitive acceleration speed test. Methods: In this work analysis and comparison method was used. The method of analysis was applied in particular warm up for track-and-field disciplines and speed training. The method of comparison was used for evaluation of results in speed test. Results: Probands achieved the shortest time on 30 meters sprint on first testing after complete warm up. The differences between times after particular types of warm up were not significant. On shuttle run 3 x 10 meters probands achieved on first testing after complete warm up the shortest time again. It was statistical significantly better than on test 30 meters sprit. Achieved time after motion activity was almost the same after complete or partial warm up. Keywords: acceleration speed test, effect of warm up, repetitive test, speed, speed test, warm up

Vichy in the mirror of conscience of the French nation
Křížová, Anna ; Nechvátal, Martin (advisor) ; Veselý, Zdeněk (referee)
During the Second World War France was divided into occupied and unoccupied zone. The unoccupied zone was ruled by autonomous regime with official seat in the town of Vichy. Representatives of the Vichist regime collaborated with the Nazis and carried out anti-Jewish policy. After the war General de Gaulle, in order to establish unity, declared the Vichist regime invalid. After the French society was cleared of the war collaborators the Vichy episode was erased from the history of France At the beginning of the seventies in France began to appear tendencies to search the real course of the war occupation period. Shooting the film Le Chagrin et la Pitié or editing the French translation of Rober Paxton's book La France de Vichy may serve as examples. Since the early nineties French intellectuals tried to persuade political representatives to recognize officially the responsibility of France for Vichy crimes. This act was done by President Jacques Chirac in 1995. Simultaneously with discussions on the Vichist past a struggle for fair punishment of war collaborators for crimes against humanity was going on in the French society. Paul Touvier, former militiamen, was sentenced in 1994 and Maurice Papon, former official of the Vichist regime, in 1998.
