The influence of syntactic structure (conjunctions) on spoken language (utterance section, intonation, pauses). Auditory analyses
Jelínková, Ivana ; Saicová Římalová, Lucie (advisor) ; Palková, Zdena (referee)
The presented thesis "The Influence of Syntactic Structure (Conjunctions) on Spoken Language (Tone Unit, Intonation, Pauses) - Auditory Analyses" explores the relations between conjunctions A (AND), ŽE (THAT), ABY (IN ORDER THAT), PROTOŽE (BECAUSE), ALE (BUT) in an exactly given syntactic structure and a system descritption of phonetic form of language - the tone unite, the intonation, and the pause. This research is based on the comparison of the public read and the public notread, but prepared utterances. At first we segment the chosen examples into the stress units; then we try to confirm the hypothesis that a conjuction begins a new tone unit; within the intonation, we monitor what is typical for the melodic line in the stress unit before the conjunction; the last part of our research is dedicated to pause and to their positions near the stress unit containing the conjunction. The research is based on the auditory analyses, therefore it does not use the instrumental analyses.
The significance of extracellular DNA in osteoclastogenesis from peripheral blood precursors - in vitro study
Jelínková, Ivana ; Daňková, Pavlína (advisor) ; Korabečná, Marie (referee)
Introduction: Extracellular DNA (ecDNA) is a common component of blood plasma. Increased levels of ecDNA in plasma can be found in some autoimmune diseases like systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), rheumatoid arthritis or celiac disease which are associated with inflammatory processes. These diseases are also associated with an increased risk of osteoporosis. Bone is a dynamic structure undergoing constant modelling caused by osteoblasts, osteocytes and osteoclasts. Shifting their equilibrium can lead to pathological conditions such as osteoporosis. In this thesis we focused on elucidating whether ecDNA, an inflammatory agent with proven immunoregulatory effects can alter differentiation potential of monocytes and alternatively lead to osteoclastogenesis via TLR9. Material and methods: We obtained monocytes from peripheral blood of healthy donors and cultivated them with four types of ODNs control (CO), stimulatory (ST), inhibitory (INH, telomeric (TLM) with phosphodiester (-pO) or phosphorothioate (-pS) backbone for two weeks to establish their effect on differentiation potential of monocytes into osteoclasts. Osteoclastogenesis was evaluated by number of yielded osteoclasts observed on a light microscope. To establish the effect of ODNs on osteoclast activity samples were analysed by qPCR for...
Measuring distances on spine at gymnasts and girls that don't sports
Výsledek: pohyblivost celé páteře do flexe je větší u gymnastek než u nesportujících dívek, hloubka zakřivení páteře v rovině sagitální je menší u gymnastek než u nesportovců Závěr: práce popsala problematiku sportovní gymnastiky, uvedla důsledky tohoto sportu na zdraví a zhodnotila pohyblivost a zakřivení páteře u dívek ve věku 7-10let Klíčová slova: sportovní gymnastika, páteř, rozsah pohybu, krční a bederní lordóza Summary: work deals with sports gymnastics and physiotherapy, the consequences of sports gymnastics on the spine, the mobility of the spine and spinal curvature in the sagittal plane at girls aged 7-10 years Objective: to compare mobility and curvature of the spine in gymnasts and girls that don't sports Methods: to...
