E-learning support for lifelong training

The bachelor thesis deals with the process of creating an e-learning course for the personnel operating with the camera system of the municipal police in Chomutov. This course is created on the base of need to introduce the controlling software IndigoVison Control Center to the current employees and also to the new employees. During the course, the participants get familiar with the features, options, and operating principles of the software. At the end of the course, the knowledge gained by completing the course is validated by the final test. The entire course is evaluated, based on test results and interviews with the participants. The theoretical part deals with e-learning, it mentions the advantages and disadvantages as well as the specifics associated with adult education. The practical part is a detailed presentation of the course, which is fully implemented in an environment of MoodleCloud and it is practical result of the thesis.
Design and implementation of e-learning in the area of interest

The bachelor's thesis entitled "Design and implementation of e-learning in the area of interest" deals with buying used cars. The essential part of this work is a creation of e-learning course for buyers and other people interested in this area which aims to improve their knowledge. The participants will get an overview of the most common situations and problems they can meet when buying a used car. The theoretical part presents an overview of the topics of the issue of purchase of used cars. It may serve as a theoretical guidance to the e-course, it brings its content. The topics are based on the analysis of information from printed and electronic sources, supplemented by experiences of the author and experts in the field. The practical part deals with the creation of an e-learning course. It contains an analysis of the needs of buyers, the reasons for the creation of the course and the requirements of it, its objectives, a description of the used authoring tool eXe and graphic creation process from the creation of the course after its publication in steps. All this is complemented by the feedback from six volunteers who have expressed an interest in testing the course and then doing a review. Before the creation of the course it was necessary to analyze the situation and find out why such a course is needed. The acquired knowledge was then processed in the course by the synthesis method. For the evaluation method it was used a short personal interview where the author examined satisfaction with the course, its possible shortcomings and suggestions for improvements or enhancements.
Education using multimedia technologies

Bachelor thesis titled Education using multimedia technologies is focused on the importance of multimedia technology in education and presentation of several multimedia tools, which can be used in teaching. The aim of the thesis was to create a multimedia tool and specifically the three videos that show workflow of modeling gel nails, specifically their remaking, in the field of education beauty services. Created videos contain subtitles with a brief description of the workflow and were published on the Internet portal youtube.com. After that sample worksheets were created, which should be given to the pupils after watching the video, in order to verify that the procedures were correctly understood. They can be also used to classify students. Videos and worksheets were tested by teacher of information technology and thereby their applicability in the real teaching was confirmed. For demonstration of easier alternative of creating a multimedia tool than the video, was created an instruction to show how to make a workflow using photos and presentation, which is able to be created by a user on the beginner level.
Using the cloud computing in the education process

The bachelors thesis Using the cloud computing in the education process is dedicated to the inclusion of comparatively new IT technology into the education process_cloud computing. Teaching, next practice and the verification of the acquired knowledge, through cloud technology, it provides the streamlining of the work for teachers and an interesting way of learning for students. The theoretical part is primarily consecrated to the fundamental principles on which they are built cloud technology. It also describes the fulfilment of the necessary requirements for the hardware equipment, including ensuring of safe operation and protection against unauthorized intervention. Finally, it deals with safeguard the compliance with applicable legislation. The practical part focuses on creating of a databank of test questions of which will be formed in individual tests with the using cloud technology Google Apps. Specific tests are created per the components of the Form and, subsequently, their accuracy is verified by the complement of Flubaroo. The subject Criminology was selected for practical application. In conclusion, will be evaluated the time pressure of the training and assessment of tests, but also user-friendly environment for the work of the instructor, and further functionality allowing the feedback.
Design and implementation of e-learning in the area of interest

The bachelor thesis Design and Implementation of e-learning in the area of interest is focused on computer typography and the area of DTP. The objective was to create a quality e-learning course, which would develop the knowledge and skills of workers who routinely manage the work with graphic programs for working with text in typesetting program Adobe InDesign. The theoretical part is conceived as a text study support to the course and deals with typography, fonts, printing materials, computer typesetting and DTP. The practical part contains the objective and the target group of the course, the needs analysis of the workplace, for which the course was created, the description of the tools that were used for creating the course and description of the structure and of the course content. The course was prepared on the basis of a synthesis of findings, which was preceded by an analysis of training needs of the target group. Educational content consists of text and instructions in the form of images, which were created by the author as screen captures in Adobe InDesign. The pilot testing of the course was realized by eight experts in the area of DTP. The final evaluation, which took the form of a questionnaire and interviews showed that e-lerning was properly elected form of education for this course and respondents accepted it with enthusiasm. Respondents rated course as the high quality one.
Education with multimedia technologies

The bachelor's thesis "Education with multimedia technologies" was focused on the analysis of educational videos from the field of human resources, which were located on the widespread internet site for sharing videos in Czech language. Specifically it was focused on the three topics of human resources, which were essential for job seekers on the labor market. From each topic was selected twenty-five educational videos. That created a sample of analysis of 75 videos. These videos were analyzed according to chosen criterias. The criterias were the theme, the length, the quality of the record, the resource, the educational goal, the target group and the summary and the evaluation of the videos. Data from the analysis were registered into the table according to a predetermined manner. It was found that educational videos on YouTube were an average of 27.64 minutes long, the quality of recorded video was average to high, and the largest source, what added instructional videos were individuals that were adding these videos on YouTube to selfpresent themselves as the experts in the field and to offer their services. The analysis also showed that only 19 % of educational videos were created correctly in terms of education. It followed that YouTube was not the right place for education in correctness of education.
Feasibility study for the upgrade of LMS Moodle

Bachelor thesis "Feasibility study for the upgrade of LMS Moodle" deals with the analysis of data and database structures of Moodle versions 1.4 and 3.0, their mutual compatibility and the possibility of transferring from an older version to the new one. The theoretical part introduces the basic software components required for proper function of LMS Moodle environment, their characteristics with the possible justification for their selection and use. The practical part compares the specific differences in data and database structure of both versions, which ultimately appears to be completely different, i.e. non-transferrable from the old version to the new LMS Moodle. The practical part also step by step describes official upgrading procedure which is recommended by LMS Moodle developers. Thesis is concluded by summarizing the test results and subsequent recommendation of the general procedure for upgrading the website. This upgraded web environment could offer more modern look and use of the new features to all students, teachers and visitors.
E-learning support for lifelong learning

The bachelor thesis E-learning support of lifelong learning concerns the topic of e-learning. Its main goal is to create and implement an e-learning course of Czech language for foreigners, more specifically for foreign scientists who come to the Czech Republic for work. This goal is reached in the practical part of the thesis which describes the process of creating the course with learning management system Moodle and its following implementation into practice. The theoretical part focuses on adult education, on forms and methods of teaching which can be effectively used in educating the adults and the motivation of adults to continue with learning throughout their life. One of the chapters deals with lifelong learning as an important concept of todays society. Next the thesis focuses on history of e-learning and how is this teaching method percieved today.
E-learning support of lifelong learning

Bachelor thesis titled "E-learning support of lifelong learning" is focused on creating e-learning course for professional competence in electrical engineering using LMS Moodle system for employees and PhD students of Faculty of Engineering Czech University of Life Sciences in Prague. The first part deals with the theoretical basis of the problem, the concepts of lifelong learning and e-learning course, LMS systems. Then is electric technical competence with various levels of expertise. Thus they describe themselves substrates for creating e-learning course. At the beginning of his work is explained by objective and methodology, as well as its target group and the very concept of developing the course. They are discussed various thematic areas of the course in terms of teaching didactics and expertise. In the chapter result, this course is submitted by several participants, who have made known - piloting. Finally, the whole course given to the person at the Faculty of Engineering Czech University of Life Sciences in Prague carries out educational activities in the area.
Education with multimedia technologies utilization

This paper deals with the possible use of multimedia technology in education. In the theoretical part, the educational process and its phases are discussed. Also students´ motivation to learn and teaching aids to encourage it are addressed. Focus is on the use of modern technologies, their advantages and disadvantages. Creation of eduactional video and its use in education, particularly in specialist subjects at vocational schools and colleges is alaborated on. The practical part of this paper is divided into two parts. Part A is focused on qualities of educational video suitable for use in chef vocational school. Eight short videos introducing professional kitchen equipment were produced. In part B, the videos were qualitatively tested. Research was carried out between students from first to second year of vocational school of gastronomy and business in Prague. Students were interviewed after watching the videos. The aim of the research was to test whether students consider educational videos beneficial and understandable
