Haptic Feedback System and its Reliability
Horpatzká, Michaela ; Hlinka, Jiří (referee) ; Janhuba, Luboš (advisor)
This master thesis covers conceptual design of haptic feedback system and safety and reliability assessment. System is developed for aircraft categories UL2, EASA CS-LSA, EASA CS-VLA and EASA-CS-23. Conceptual design is divided into three parts. First is aimed on haptic system test with simulator. Second is conceptual design of haptic system for in-flight test. Third part contains safety and reliability assessment and summarizes problems of haptic system installation in real aircraft.
Assistant systems in car and aircraft control
Novotný, Timotej ; Horpatzká, Michaela (referee) ; Zikmund, Pavel (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with assistance systems in cars and aircraft. The aviation sector is focused on GA aircraft. This thesis describes assistance systems used in cars and aircraft, their contribution to traffic safety and limitations of these systems. The comparison of assisting systems in the automotive and aviation industries shows the difference in the speed of development in individual areas, which is caused mainly due to strict requirements for safety and reliability of aviation systems. Furthermore, we can see the difference in implementation of systems monitoring the condition of a driver/pilot. Although the work of a pilot is more demanding than the work of a driver, today’s aircraft do not have a system for monitoring the condition of a pilot or an emergency landing system. Part of the thesis concerning future assistance systems in aviation is devoted to the system monitoring the pilot’s condition and the automatic landing system. Both systems are still under development. However, experiments have shown that these systems could be implemented in future aircraft and increase aviation safety. The last part of the thesis mentions the future of assistance systems, which create a path to autonomous vehicles.
Serial diagnostic systems for motor vehicles
Horpatzká, Michaela ; Svída, David (referee) ; Beran, Martin (advisor)
This Bachelor thesis describes serial diagnostic systems and their importance for modern vehicles. Thesis is divided into five parts describing development, basic tasks of OBD, circuits under permanent monitoring of OBD, communication of control unit and the tester and practical demonstration of universal diagnostic system Delphi.
Evaluation of advantages and disadvantages of aircraft automatic systems
Vrána, Michal ; Koštial, Rostislav (referee) ; Horpatzká, Michaela (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis deals with civil airplane automatic systems. The first part analyses historical development of flight control systems and automatic system together with philosophy, which is implemented in modern airliners. In the next part, we evaluate advantages and disadvantages together with list and description of modern avionic systems, which participate on automatic flight. In the last part, selected airplane incidents and accidents are analysed, focusing on influence of automation with incidental human factor.
Aerologic Probe Return Module
Construction features of naval aircraft
Vavrinec, Lukáš ; Horpatzká, Michaela (referee) ; Dubnický, Lukáš (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor’s thesis is to clarify construction specifics and operational differences of carrier-based aircraft, to produce list of typical and specific parts and systems of carrier-based aircraft and to compare equivalent parts and systems of land-based aircraft with carrier-based aircraft.
Use of data from flight data recorder for aircraft maintenance
Vráblíková, Lucie ; Horpatzká, Michaela (referee) ; Koštial, Rostislav (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with analysis of existing solutions for collecting maintenance data and technical condition of the aircraft. Based on this analysis, it proposes a trend monitoring system based on the existing structure and data from the flight data recorder.
Recent progress in pilot-aircraft haptic feedback
Suchnová, Klára ; Horpatzká, Michaela (referee) ; Zikmund, Pavel (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the recent progress in pilot-aircraft haptic feedback. Haptic feedback is intended to help the pilot perform his tasks more easily. Above all, it should focus on relieving the strain on his vision and hearing to increase flight safety. It can be used not only for the actual control of the aircraft but also for other tasks such as navigation. Haptic systems bring a lot of advantages in the actual control of the aircraft, but they also have their disadvantages in certain cases.
Aerial Refueling
Ďurďovič, Dušan ; Horpatzká, Michaela (referee) ; Dubnický, Lukáš (advisor)
This thesis is focused on aerial refueling. This paper describes brief history of development for both methods, aplication of both methods and also their construction description on both tanker and receiving aircraft. Last chapter focuses on current development of these methods and concepts for possible future aplication in aerospace engineering.
