Sudeten-German issue's reflection in Czecho-German relations and its legal aspects

The basic aim of the thesis is to provide a sufficient image of the German minority's, the so-called "Sudeten-Germans'", legal status in the first Czechoslovak republic. The author of the thesis decided to include also a brief outline of the legal status of nations in the era of the Austro-Hungarian monarchy besides the analysis of all the three law of national minorities mainstays, the way they are specified by today's jurisprudence, together with the description of their origin circumstances. This was the time when both the real and theoretical basis of the issue were formed, going hand in hand with historical events that predetermined the following historical development in this case. Space is also given to the international political situation which had, together with the international legislation, essential influence on the origins of domestic legislation dealing with the German minority's status and its incorporation into the Czechoslovak republic itself. The thesis is divided in two basic parts - Cisleithanian Law of National Minorities and Czechoslovak Law of National Minorities and Protection of Minorities. Analysis of trends in information systems from the perspective of the application of new technologies with a focus on open source

The theme of this thesis is to analyze current technological trends with a focus on open source software in terms of relevance and importance for enterprises. The main objective is to evaluate the current status of open source software for Czech enterprises and characterize the progress based on data from 2010 and 2015. The thesis describes the basic forms of software used by companies which are further categorized based on the functionality and usability. The specifics of open source software and its licenses are defined. Subsequently the selection of specific open source licenses, generally perceived views on their use and the status of open source software in various stages of its existence are described. Analytical part describes the results of the author's survey in Czech enterprises in terms of open source software application for 2015. The results are compared with data from 2010 and appropriate conclusions are defined. Finally, the hypotheses are connected with the results of the author's survey, data comparison, available open source methodologies and other sources for an overall assessment of the situation in the Czech Republic.
Operating systems in the cloud

The goal of this thesis is to approach the issue of cloud operating systems, implementation of concrete solutions and comparism of their practical use in personal and corporate sectors. In the theoretical part the basic concepts of cloud computing and operating systems are explained. The theoretical part also contains a summary of cloud operating systems based on Linux and web operating systems. In the practical part three operating systems are chosen, implemented and subjected to comparison. The tested solutions include cloud operating system Chrome OS, Joli OS and eyeOS. All operating systems are launched, configured, tested and their practical potential is evaluated.
