Evaluation of supply of primary attractions for the segment of children in the tourism industry in the Czech Republic

The aim of this bachelor's thesis is a comparison of supply of primary attractions in the tourism industry specialized in a segment of children in all regions of the Czech Republic. The supply is compared in terms of a number of the attractions and the complexity of the supply. The thesis is divided into three main chapters. The first chapter is theoretical and the terms of the tourism industry and primary attractions are characterized. The second chapter is also theoretical and is focused on leisure time and tourism of children, whereas needs and motivation of children are considered. The last chapter is practical and the supply of the primary attractions is evaluated in terms of the number of the attractions and the complexity of the supply. Then the supply is compared among the regions. Finally, the conclusion, which regions are more or less focused on the segment of children, is drawn and whether the number of children visitors in regions is influenced by the number of primary attractions for children.
Marketing study of tourist area Central Bohemia - South

This diploma thesis is about the tourist area Central Bohemia - South , which belongs to the tourist region Central Bohemia. The main target of this thesis is to evaluate the management organization in this destination, to carry out the study of the primary and secondary tourism offer and also to evaluate the presentation and promotion of this area and introduce proper suggestions and recommendations for improvement of management and promotion. Part of the thesis is also author's own research of preferences of potential visitors, image and the research of attitude of locals to visitors. Also the PEST analysis of this destination was carried out and then was created the list of strenghts and weaknesses of the tourist area and the list of opportunities and threats for the next development of tourism.
Transformation of the selected travel agency VS Tours into a touroperator

This final thesis deals with the process of transforming of the selected travel agency VS Tours into a touroperator. All formalities and practical steps that are necessary for a successful process are analyzed and evaluated. In the first part general legal conditions for tourism industry in the Czech Republic as well as the formal transformation process are described. The second part first introduces the existing travel agency VS Tours and deals further with practical aspects of its transformation into a touroperator, including drafts of the necessary documents. The third part solves purely the practical aspects of the matter. A proposal for a profile product of the new touroperator, its marketing strategy and revenue calculations are presented. The work as a whole proposes a complex plan for transforming the travel agency VS Tours into a touroperator. The work can also be generally seen as a guide for any other travel agency planning a similar step.

The Diploma thesis describes possibilities in funding from EU Structural Funds. The thesis is divided into 4 chapters. The first chapter summarizes history and present situation of EU Regional and structural policy, aims, operational programs and instruments. The second chapter represents possibilities in funding from EU Funds in Tourism industry. The third chapter processes information about project policy, describes individual steps of project plan creation. The final chapter should be an example of a concrete project in area of Tourism industry.
Sustainable tourism in the South Bohemia Region

The first chapter of thesis focuses on definition of sustainable development and sustainable tourism based on the short historical context and the set of sustainable development indicators. The second chapter deals with definition of forms of rural tourism such as ecotourism, agrotourism, ecoagrotourism, hippotourism and cyclotourism. The third chapter contains the characteristic of the South Bohemia Region and evaluation of its tourism potential. The fourth and fifth chapters present the evaluation of sustainable tourism in the South Bohemia Region. This evaluation is based on the indicators of sustainable tourism and questionnaire research in four different groups: Regional authority, tourists and visitors, residents and tourism entrepreneurs in the South Bohemia Region.
Sustainable development of tourism in Zlín region

The purpose of this thesis is the evaluation of sustainable tourism in the Zlín Region. The theoretical part focuses on history and definition of sustainable development and sustainable tourism. This part also contains general analysis of tourism in the Zlín Region. The practical part deals with the evaluation of sustainable tourism in the Zlín Region in accordance with the indicators of sustainable tourism and questionnaire research. This research was focused on general knowledge in sustainable tourism between residents, visitors, entrepreneurs and regional authority in Zlín Region. All obtained findings are summarized at the end in SWOT analysis.
The Sustainable Tourism in the Chosen Destination - Peru

The goal of the thesis is to describe the approach of Peru to the sustainable tourism. The thesis analyses therefore the situation of the sustainable tourism in Peru. In the first part, the tourism is characterized with its future trends, positive and negative impacts on the society and the environment. Hereafter, the conception of sustainability is introduced followed by the short characterization of Peru as a tourist destination and its approach to the sustainable tourism.
