Analysis of Female Specific Leadership Style in Organizations Dealing with Information Technology Development

The aim of the diploma thesis „Analysis of Female Specific Leadership Style in Organizations Dealing with Information Technology Development“ is based on an analysis of working styles of man and woman lead with regard to defining the specifics of women's leadership in comparison to men. The theoretical part provides basic terms related to this topic, especially the gender, and the related stereotypes. Adequate attention is paid to the current situation in management from the women’s perspective. Empirical part documents the course of quantitative research performed in the company, when the style of leadership has been studied in accordance with the stated hypotheses. At the end the summary of the findings is discussed in the context of their potential contribution to the company's experience in the field of management and cultivation of human resources.
The probing of the poetry at the turn of the 10. and 20. years of the 20. century

This thesis is primarily focused on the analysis and interpretation of chosen authors of czech poetry at the turn of the 10. and 20. years of the 20. century. To be specificic, these authors are Jiří Wolker, Zdeněk Kalista, Antonín Matěj Píša, Svatopluk Kadlec a František Němec, who were entering the literary and artistic context in connection with the coming of early post-war avant-garde. The period cultural and social situation including a brief characteristic of the poetics of this tendency in poetry and also the literary context is described in the introduction chapter. The main part of the thesis is given to the comprehensive analysis of the representative books of poetry concerned, whereas the motivic analyse is accented. The last part is composed of the respect to the conterporary critical reception of literary works concemed.
Compensation Strategies in Learning Czech as Foreign Language: Comparasion of Spoken and Written Communiques

This thesis deals with compensation strategies in learning Czech as a foreign language and concrete realisations of these strategies in spoken and written communiques. The theoretical part is based on the current linguistic-didactic approach to learning foreign languages, which includes the communicative method and the issue of communicative competence of non-native speakers. In connection with these issues, we also deal with the area of communication strategies and present the most important theoretical concepts and classifications of communication and compensation strategies by foreign researchers. We also introduce the definition of compensation strategies in Czech for foreigners within the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, which is presently a binding document for defining language competences at particular language levels. The theoretical part is followed by the empirical part which analyses concrete spoken and written productions of non-native speakers on the basis of theoretically established classification of compensation strategies designed for the purpose of research in this thesis. Quality of life and Lifestle in Czech children in town and village

Quality of life is a multidimensional concept that has been researched in many scientific fields. It has gained an important position especially in medicine, sociology, and psychology. The aim of the study was to monitor specific indicators of quality of life (QoL) and lifestyle in a representative sample of Czech children within an international study of the World Health organization (WHO), The Health Behaviour in School Aged Children: A WHO Cross National Study (HBSC), to analyze QoL in Czech children according to age, gender, and place of residence, and to evaluate it as it relates to other important factors associated with lifestyle (formal structure of the family, the amount of time spent together in the family, adaptation to school, subjectively perceived degree of demands for achievement in the school, social relationships, alcohol and tobacco consumption). The data were obtained using a questionnaire in 86 randomly selected elementary schools and multiannual secondary schools. The study methods emanated from the WHO recommendations. The development of marriage rate, divorce rate and extra-marital fertility in the Czech Republic

This bachelor thesis deals with the development of marriage rate and divorce rate and extra-marital fertility during the period 1990 - 2010. The work is drawn into four chapters, the first three chapters are devoted to the development of the above-mentioned three demographic events. There is a theoretical example of the demographic terms at the beginning of each chapter which refers to the specific chapter. Following part is dedicated to demographic events and causes which leads to the family behavior's changes. The fourth and final chapter is devoted to the support of families with children. The forms of aid which the state contributes to a better life for families are defined. The three forms direct financial support, indirect financial support and non-financial support for families are described in detail.
