CO-HOUSING, Brno Židenice
Dušková, Petra ; Sedlák, Jan (referee) ; Kiszka, Josef (advisor)
The subject of the diploma thesis was the ideological elaboration of the architectural study of the building for community housing. The proposal follows the elaborated urban concept of Brno Židenice, specifically the territory, which is on the border of the city districts of Zábrdovice and Židenice. Already in this part I considered the social component in the architectural and urban planning designing a substantial representation and in this diploma thesis I further develop this social idea through a concrete house. The whole work is based on two principles, of which I am when designing the object. From the context of today, what effect it has on man, and in particular how this influence changes his way of life and his needs. I am further it was based on the principle of a specific place or city, and I tried in these two aspects to find connections and possible solutions. The result is a residential house, designed so that the very concept of co-housing, roommate, is not anchored only in the building itself, but that its significance could also be transmitted through the walls to the neighboring streets and other public ones space. So that roommates means not just sharing a home, but sharing together in streets and location where our home is located. To learn again to live together and not just side by side.

The practical part ascertains how many paramedics have dealt with patients´ problematic behaviour in pre-hospital care, or more precisely with an aggressive behaviour. The paramedics were questioned whether they have felt prepared for this kind of behaviour, whether they would like to gain a further education in this particular area and whether they have felt a sufficient support in legislation.
Catholic newpaper in the days of lack of freedom 1949-1968
Dušková, Petra ; Köpplová, Barbara (advisor) ; Zamazal, Ondřej (referee)
The present study Catholic Newspaper between 1949 and 1968 deals with a historical analysis of the Catholic Newspaper which was established in order to implement repressive measures of the Communist Party against the Catholic Church. This study also discusses the situation of the Catholic Church after 1948 when the Communist Party of Czechoslovakia came to power. The Catholic Newspaper was established in 1949 and at that time, it represented the only periodical of the Catholic Church which could strengthen the belief of people as well as provide religious education. Other Catholic journals were discontinued shortly after the Communist coup in February 1948. The Catholic Church became one of the major enemies of the new government. A part of this study deals with the negotiations of the main representatives of the state as well as the Catholic Church. The failure of establishing an agreement led to a new religious policy in Czechoslovakia; the policy comprised administrative measures against the Catholic Church, processes with Church Authorities and restrictions in the education system of theologians. The present study concentrates on the establishing of the Catholic Newspaper and discusses the first years of its existence with a major focus on the sections for children. It also discusses the Second...

Interaction between gastrointestinal tract and central nervous system: Mechanisms and pathology
Dušková, Petra ; Nekovářová, Tereza (advisor) ; Vodička, Martin (referee)
This work summarizes relevant information about bacterial ecosystem of human intestine with an emphasis on microbiome-host communication. I describe physiological mechanisms influencing so as distant as the intestine and the brain. Neuropsychiatrical and neurodevelopmental disorders, especially autism, are used as a model. Human gut microbiome influences function and development of the brain in many ways. The intestinal barrier permeability increases and decreases by the consequences of microbes contact with epithelium. Many bacterial species produce neuroactive molecules, neurotransmiters, their precursors and fatty acids. These molecules enter the bloodstream depending on intestinal barrier tightness. Disruption of microecosystem and host communication may cause pathological inflammations and increase cytokine production. Cytokines are able to weaken the blood-brain barrier and enable penetration of potentially harmful substances into the brain. The main goal of this bachelor thesis is to summarize and logically organise current information and point out important questions about the relations between the microbiome composition and mental health. In conclusion, bacterial microbiome influences brain functions in health and disease. Ecological destabilisation of microbiome is one of the factors...
